13/f. I'm not really scared of the dark or anything, but here latley i've been getting really scared. see, since it's been christmas break i've been staying up until around 3:00a.m. because i don't have school the next day (yeah, you all probably new that, but oh well, hehe! jk). so, when i'm about to go to bed, i put my dog up, and turn off all of the lights. but i practacly (sp?) run to my bed because i'm really scared. and before i go to bed and i'm on the computer and stuff, every little sound i hear i get soooo scared. for example, i was in the tonight brushing my teeth and i swear i heard loud foot steps going by the door. i don't think it was my parents because they never get up in the middle of the night, but it could have been one of them. but when i heard "footsteps" i got sooooooooooooo freaking scared. should i like stop watching scary movies? or go to bed eariler when my parents do so i don't have to stay up by myself? i don't know what to do, but i'm getting really tired of getting scared all of the time. i really need some help! thanks ppl! I have my fair share of moments like this. Like I`ll be in my living room and I`ll be the only one awake & when I turn off all the lights, my heart starts beating really fast & I always think someone is behind me.
The only reason you hear things is because it`s your imagination, and you`re thinking about it. Like if you weren`t focused on being scared of the dark, you wouldn`t think about like maybe there`s someone in your house, or something. =]
You definitely shouldn`t go to bed when your parents do, especially since there`s only a few more days of vacation! Watch tv, and actually focus on that, don`t focus on anything else. If you get scared, you could always call your best friend or boyfriend, that always helps to calm me down when I`m sitting in the dark! =]

Well, the first time I went to a gyno is when I was 14 years old. I had a bacterial infection. =[ It was sucky. You should go whenever you think you have something wrong down below, or when you're 18 years old & may eventually become sexually active.
They have free clinics, like Planned Parenthood & what not. I don`t know what there is in your area. You could just go by yourself, walk there, or have a friend drive you. I live with both of my parents & I`m pretty open about everything.
I`ve never had problems whenever it came to asking them to go on the pill & stuff. But, you`ll probably just want to sit him down & explain as to why you need to go to the gyno. He`ll understand, and he probably won`t ask questions just because he`s a guy & he`s not supposed to know about that stuff! [;

ok so I have a boyfriend, we'd been talking on the phone for over a year and went through a lot of mental things together and finally met earlier this month. (he used to be friends/go to school with my old bestfriend so he wasn't just some random freak) things have been great since but i hardly ever see him since he lives about 1hr 1/2-2 hrs away. when we're together it's so great, it's like everything else disappears. my question is, how do i deal with this barely seeing him thing? i see him when he can get a day off and has money to take the train down here, and i know things arent easy for him right now. i don't want to be selfish, but i don't know how to just be ok with this. i know things will change eventually when he moves closer but how do i deal with it right now? It`s just something that you`ll have to get used to. It`s a part of growing up, & you aren`t being selfish in the slightest!!
As your relationship goes on, it`ll be easier to deal with. I rarely ever get to see my boyfriend. I only see him a few times a week, and that`s really hard for me to handle. Especially because when I`m at school it`s like, I want him to be THERE so I can hang out with him & what not. But I know that, that`s not even possible.
A good way to handle it, is to set a day for when he`ll come & see you. Like say that you talk to him tonight, and the next vacation you both have is like Easter break or something. Plan to see each other in March, then you`ll have something to look forward to, together.
It`ll be like, when February comes, you`ll grow closer and closer, because you`ll both have something to look forward to, the next month. Think of how amazing your time will be together.
It definitely will be hard for you to handle, but just continue to talk to him everyday & talk about this whole long distance thing. He probably feels the same way & it`ll make you feel a hell of a lot better talking to someone about it! =]

I have a problem with all the jeans i buy! in about 6 months time after i buy them, they start to rip at ususlly the crotch part. I cant keeping buying jeans over and over again. Am i over wearing them? What can i do to get rid of the problem?

You might be over wearing them, or it could be the quality of the jeans. I don`t know what type you buy, but usually when you buy jeans, you should spend a little bit more money, just because they tend to last longer! Also, to stop the ripping, the only thing you can do is, not wear them as much & not wash them after everytime you wear them. Washing them making them wear out, as well. =]

Hey. I`ve had those shots when I got teeth removed & whenever I got five root canals [all at the same time!] So I had five shots in my mouth.
My dentist already had put numbing stuff on my gums, and didn`t tell me when they were doing the shots, so I didn`t know that they had already done it, when they did. I mean, I felt a little nip, but it tickled more then anything. Honestly on a scale of one to ten, I'd have to say it's about a three.

Is it weird that I'm really attached to someone I met in a chat room? That`s exactly what happened with me & my best friend Endie. =] With this other girl named Olivia, and I hadn`t really thought about it until now, that me and Endie aren`t as close anymore.
Honestly, it`s just something that`ll grow on you. It`s like a new lifestyle and you`re having to adjust to this new girl in your group. Eventually it won`t be THAT big of an issue, and hopefully it`ll all blow over, as my problem has. In case you`re scared you may lose Kayla as a friend, talk to her and tell her exactly what you said on here, that you`re afraid both of you are going to fall apart because of this chick named, Tiffany. Say that you don`t want that to happen.
The only thing I can think of that would put a spark back into the friendship, is hang out with Kayla more outside of school, and have things be like they used to be, without this other girl. =] ♥

Corn rows are very easy to maintain. You don't have to wash your hair everyday, it just depends on how much you wash it regularly. If you wash your hair everyday usually you should continue to do so. You should shampoo & condition everyday as if you were just doing so like on a regular day! Just make sure that you don't scratch around or anything, just in case you pull one loose. Just, dab and when you wash it off, just wipe and sweep your hands towards the back. Wait for your corn rows to air dry, and when they're done your hair may be freezy, apply a couple sprays of water & then use a little bit of hairspray & tap it down so the frizzies are maintained. =] You can do this as much as you want.
If you don't want to wash your hair everyday, then when you wake up the next morning just apply water & hairspray, the last steps and your hair will look aweeeeeesome. =]

I don't think that what your mom is saying, is true. Haha it kinda sounds funky in a way, and if it's true, then I would have LOADS right now, & I don't.
There's absolutely no way to avoid them or to get rid of them. They occur naturally. If you want, you can help prevent them, or make them less noticable. By using any cream with Cocoa Butter in it. =]

Since you don't know him that well personally, don't talk to him about it. It seems like your finding all this stuff out about him, from his friends. When it could be made up. Even though it is pure "evidence" it might not be true, and approaching him about it would be very rude, true or not. Unless you've SEEN him do it, or if you've heard STRAIGHT from him, you can't say that you KNOW he does this stuff. People make stuff up and lie, it's human nature, that's what this "close friend" might be doing.
