Yesterday, I went to the grocery store and bought tonssssss of healthy foods. Today, I woke up at 10:00 & here's what I ate.
Breakfast- apple & apple juice
Lunch- Turkey sandwich on wheat bread, about 10 grapes, about 15 sunchips and hot sauce. To drink I had water.
Snack- chips and hot sauce and apple juice
Supper- pepperoni lean pocket
snack- more sunchips
I eat alot!! I'm trying to lose weight (just belly fat and thighs) but i eat wayyy too muchh.. i ran up and down my street a little.. and did like 20 crunches. what are some other excersizes/tips/etc.

For some reason, people associate exercise with labor. Exercise is very satisfying. Feeling the wind across your face while jogging, and relaxing afterwards, is a very sensational experience. So when you exercise, don't think of it as a chore. Do it because you enjoy it. I have no idea how old you are, but if you have siblings or kids, go bikeriding with them, or play a sport, or rollerblade. It doesn't have to be the standard walk-or-run routine.
It's fine if you eat a lot. I have 2 suggestions.
1) My mom is on the Atkins diet. She eats frequently, but consumes about 5 carbs a day. She's lost 4 pounds in a week, and she doesn't exercise much. So you should consider the Atkins or South Beach diet while exercising regularly.
2) Eat low-calorie foods. There are certain types of jello that have 5 calories per cup. 5 CALORIES PER CUP! You can have 10 cups of jello as a snack and only get 50 calories for it. Also, fruits are very low in calories. I personally eat an apple for breakfast. Guess how many calories that is. 80. And I find fruit to be filling. Low-calorie foods include flavored water, yogurt, celery, carrots, broccoli, and asparagus.
I highly advise you to replace sodas, alcohol, milkshakes, tea, coffee, etc. with water or Crystal Light drinks. Also, replace sugar with Splenda or Sweet-n-Low.
I hope I helped. Losing weight takes discipline, but you can do it.

This is extremely embarassing for me to ask.
I am an 18 year old girl from Egypt, but I moved to the USA when I was seven. My parents got me circumcised when I was six. I am worried that no one will want to marry me because I am circumcised, and will think I am gross. I am very worried because when doctors look at me (just check ups, nothing is wrong with me) they gasp, and make a very big deal out of it.

I don't mean to offend you, but are you familiar with American culture? If you're not, here's something you should know: people here get married because they love one another.
Getting married has nothing to do with sexual body parts. The only other thing besides love that I would think determines if people get married is their religion.
No offense, but I've been brought up to believe that in the Middle East, men only marry pure virgin women. That is definitely not the case in the United States.

the beginging of this school year and all summer mostly i was pretty depressed.it was a 24/7 thingg. noww im at a point of where, if im ever tired, i feel anxious, sad, nervous, scared, depressedd... i hateee itt. but whenever im awake and hyperr, i couldnt be any happierr and im soo much fun to be around. I dont like this, i cant control it, one second im in the best mood ever possible then i steep down to the lowest. i always cry so easily tooo. I just want to know if there is something wrong with me, and how to act upon it..besides getting proffesional help, i dont need that. thanks (link)

This happens to almost every teenager. It is completely normal and usually happens at ages 14 and 15.
Basically, your body is going through major changes during these years. Teens begin to go through puberty, which naturally makes teens more moody than usual. Their feelings and moods are often dramatic (very happy or very sad, nothing in between).
My advice is to just let it take its course. Over time, the sadness that you feel will pass. Another suggestion is to get those pills that make you happy, but if I were you, I'd just deal with it. You never know what's in those pills.

Does anyone know a really good diet pill that i can get in a drug store like CVS? I am looking for a pill (thats safe) that can help me get a flat stomach, and thinner thighs. It cant be perscription and i would have to be able to buy it by myself (i'm 16, and my parents would flip out if they knew).

Yes. Drug stores, like CVS, Walgreens, and Eckerds (sp?), should have diet pills. Grocery stores have them, too.
I strongly suggest you avoid diet pills. Diet pills do not help change eating habits. They just increase your metabolism for a short period of time, and I believe that when the pill wears off, your metabolism is slower than it was to begin with. Also, they're pretty expensive for a bottle of pills.

My 4th generation ipod is broken and I think it's about time to update to a video ipod. Well, I don't have $300-400 to spend on one right now, and I can't live without an ipod for long. I've gone on ebay and lost every auction I've bidded for. Is there any other website like ebay that has cheap, still perfectly good-working ipods that I can buy? (link)

Use craigslist.com. Go to the website, click on your city and state on the right, and then click on the For Sale link. Type in "ipod video" and many results should come up.
Craigslist is different than Ebay. On Ebay, people mail you your order. On Craigslist, you almost always have to go to their house and pick up your order. (this is why you have to click on your city and state, so that you don't drive very far away)
Also, craigslist has a lot of information on jobs available in your area, and there are lots of cars, furniture, and even places to live on the website.

How do you become a model? I really want to be one but the problem is.. I'm not all that pretty. :/
Compared to most girls in my school. They all look the same and I.. look different I guess. My eyes are big and my skin isn't pale. My hair is not long. I'm short.
I've always been interested in modeling but everyone is so beautiful. So i don't think i can get anywhere. Are looks everything? Do you have to have perfect skin, beautiful eyes, blonde hair, etc? (link)

I have some advice, and I hope you truly listen to what I have to say, because it is the truth:
Have a back-up plan.
I cannot say this enough. Becoming a model, singer, or actor/actress is very hard to do. I'm not saying that you won't become a model. I'm not saying that you don't have what it takes. I'm saying that according to statistics, the chances of you becoming a model are very low. This is why you should have another job in mind just in case modeling doesn't work out, something like business, childcare, cosmetology, etc.
Now, back to the question. You say you're short. There are plenty of short models out there, so I wouldn't worry about your height. You also say that your eyes are big. Most people consider eyes the best physical feature of the face, and since your eyes are more noticeable, that could actually help you.
"Are looks everything?"
Contrary to popular beliefs, looks are only about half of what it takes to be a model. The other half is attitude. There are millions of beautiful people out there, but if they can't walk down a stage with good posture and poise, they won't make it in the modeling business. You need to know how to walk, pose, and make different facial expressions to be a successful model. Some people would probably consider modeling a type of acting.

The only things that I have heard to increase metabolism are peanut butter and exercise. The peanut butter thing isn't proven, but I hear it works.

Water replaces high calorie drinks, such as sodas and flavored coffee. It also goes right through your body: you drink it and it comes out about an hour later.
Water keeps you feeling full, too.

Ok I just learned that Saying "Oh My God" is like really disrespectful to the bible but the problem is I cant exactly stop saying it. Today I was talking on the bus for like 10 minutes and my friend was like "You just said oh my god 17 times" I was shocked. I say it all the time. How do you break a habit like that?? (link)

First of all, don't listen to the person below me. Saying it every once in a while isn't okay. That's like saying "Sinning every now and then is perfectly fine". Uhm, no it isn't. A sin is a sin.
But anyways. What I do to help me break habits is to write dashes on my hand with a pen every time I do the habit. So if you say "Oh my G-d!" 30 times, then there should be 30 dashes on your hand. Then, the next day, try to make that number lower. Keep doing this until you don't have to write on yourself anymore.

Recently I have been on a diet. It hasent been working really effectively because around noon, I get bad cravings that are extremely hard to control. So, I give in, and eat. Then I feel horrible because I have ruined my diet. I am not overweight, 115 pounds, but I am hating this craving! What gives? How can I stop this?

Don't eat 3 large meals. Eat 5 small ones.
What really helps me is to have a packet of oatmeal for breakfast [by the way, one packet of oatmeal has about 50-100 calories, which is almost nothing!]. Then I bring apple slices to school and eat them at around noon [one apple has about 60-80 calories. Again, this is almost nothing, but it's a great snack].
Then I eat lunch at around 1:30. For lunch, I eat fruits and vegetables. You have so many options for lunch that have low calories. Broccoli, spinach, green beans, salad, celery, carrots, and asparagus all have a low amount of calories. You can also try those new soups that only have 100 calories per can.
So if you add all of that up, that's about 280 calories just from breakfast, a snack, and lunch. Then you can be more lenient with dinner and snacks in the afternoon.
Another low calorie food that I suggest is a whole bag of kettle corn (about 130 calories).
Don't forget to exercise for half an hour a day and stop drinking sodas [unless they're diet].

Christians get upset by statements like that. Those phrases misuse God's name.
You are using God's name as though it means something like "Damn!" or "Shit!" God's name is MUCH more holy than words like that. It is a very big sin to use His name in that context.
Instead of upsetting Christians by saying things like that, use alternatives, like "crap" and "damn".

Hey. We're learning a new chapter in algebra now and I don't really understand it at all =(. I want to get ahead and figure it out before we have a test or quiz so help would be Greatly appreciated! I'm in ninth grade and doing Algebra. We're working on solving linear systems by graphing. Hello. Well, hopefully you already know how to graph an equation in y=mx+b form. The "b" is the y-intercept (the point on the y-axis where the line touches). The "m" is the slope of the line (rise divided by run, or rise over run).
So the FIRST step is to convert the equations to y=mx+b form. This means that you need to solve the equations for "y". Here's how you do that.
-3x+y=10 This is the original equation.
+3x +3x Add 3x to both sides.
y=3x+10 This is your equation.
Remember, you tried to get "y" by itself, so you had to move the "x" to the other side. Now you need to do the same thing with the other equation.
7x+y=20 This is the original equation.
-7x -7x Subtract 7x from both sides.
y=-7x+20 This is your equation.
So your two new equations are y=3x+10 and y=-7x+20. Now you simply graph each equation.
To graph y=3x+10, you first find the y-intercept, which is 10 (remember the y=mx+b formula). So from the middle of the graph (the origin), go up 10 units and put a dot. From that dot, move up 3 more units AND move right 1 unit. Put another dot there and connect the 2 dots. That is your line. Make sure that the line goes on and does NOT end.
Now do the same thing to the other equation. Wherever both lines cross is your answer. It should be a point on the graph in (x,y) form.

Wooo...here we go. Oh boy. This is so upsetting. I was in a best-friend kind of relationship with a guy for the past 7 months. We were EXTREMELY close, up until today. And I'm just so confused with what's going on. I'm 15 and he's 17. We were very personal with each other, being able to tell secrets, share feelings, console each other in times of trouble, care a lot for eachother, and we shared a lot of interests too. About 4 months ago, he started telling me that he loved me. I, of course, was very excited, thinking that he really DOES love me. So I began to get very clingy to him, flirting and being very sweet because I really DID love him. He would tell me how beautiful I am, and how he wanted to see me all the time and how he wanted to play with my hair and that my eyes were so beautiful and when he sees me the next time, he will give me his whole music collection and we will snuggle to the music of a record player and he will kiss me on the forehead and tell me how much he loves me. He teased me a lot too. But for the past 4 months, I've been noticing that he's been saying similar things to OTHER girls! I was outraged and so full of jealousy. He said the EXACT same thing to them! "Oh you know you're the only one for me ";)""....That was the last straw. Whenever he is on MSN, there are other girls online and he completely ignores me and chats with them! And when we're in a group convo with our friends (who are like 16 - 18) he flirts around with them! But then after, he tells me that I'm the ONLY one he loves and "you should know that by now, cutie, hehe *kiss*". Well, finally getting to the point, today, on MSN...he told me that he thinks that it won't work out! He says that "I'm not the one you want" and "you will be able to find other guys". I don't know what to do, guys...I really don't. Looks to me like he's been leading me on...and then, when I opened my heart out to him, he broke it. ;_;...what should I do? There are so many people out there just like that guy. They don't commit to relationships so that they can flirt with anyone they choose.
You should let him go as a friend. Friends don't do that to each other. You need to learn how to stop loving him, too, because the love he had for you never existed and never will. You're just there to flirt with when his other girlfriends aren't there.
I'm sorry, but it's time to drop him and find someone else.

I always find jogging on a trail outside much more fun than running in a gym or on a track. It's very relaxing, so you should try it.
As other people have suggested, bring a CD player or MP3 player with you.
If you are interested in lifting weights, then I think you should buy 5-15 pound weights to lift while walking on the trail! You'll burn calories and turn fat to muscle at the same time.
I've learned that most people who consider exercising decide not to do it because their friends aren't willing to participate. That is not a very good decision. You don't need friends to get active and healthy.

1. Don't snack. Only have 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
2. Have a light breakfast, like a fruit and a glass of juice.
3. Have a moderate lunch [not too big, but not too small].
4. Have a small dinner [this means no going back for seconds or overflowing your plate].
5. Exercise for an hour every day nonstop. You can run, jog, walk, swim, etc.
6. Don't eat after 6:00 pm.
7. If you can't help eating after 6:00 pm, then don't eat after 7:00 pm at the LATEST.
8. Don't have too many fats or carbs.
This should help you lose 5 pounds in 1 or 2 weeks.

i take spanish 1 in school, and we recently started doing paragraphs in spanish. i have a hard time figuring out which verb - ser or estar - to use. what's the difference between the two verbs and is there an easy way to remember which one to use in a sentence?

Use estar with locations, emotions, and feelings. If you want to say that someone is happy, mad, sad, tired, or bored, use estar. If you want to say where someone is, use estar.
Use ser with time, physical characteristics, and personalities. If you want to say that someone is funny, pretty, ugly, nice, mean, spoiled, or boring, use ser. If you want to say that its 3:00, use ser.
*Note: use estar with bored and use ser with boring.
Examples:
Estoy en mi casa=I'm at my house
Estoy muy triste hoy=I'm really sad today
Estoy cansado=I'm tired
Eres bonita=You're pretty
Es la una y media=It's 1:30
Ella es aburrida=She's boring

I am 30 yrs old and female. I have a dead end job and I know that college is the answer but I get a panic attack when I walk through the front door and never go back. Even the thought of it frightens me to death, any advice?? (link)

My advice is to go to a community college at night and on weekends. Usually, community colleges are easier academically and financially than 4 year institutions.
While you are there, you can get an Associate's Degree in something business related to open some new doors for your future career.
Please don't be afraid. College is so much easier than it sounds. I have one brother who's a sophomore and one who has graduated, and they both have told me that it's not as difficult as it seems. They weren't scholars either. They took average classes in high school and got average grades, so if they can handle it, anyone can. ;]

I forgot to mention that my mom sounds just like you. She dropped out of college when she got married. She got divorced 5 years later after having me. She then went back to college at night while working full time and now has a Bachelor's Degree. She has never felt more proud of herself.
I strongly urge you to go back to college. There are websites that college people go to, and they explain how certain teachers are (if a teacher is easy, hard, gives lots of tests, assigns no homework, etc.). I recommend using ratemyprofessors.com.
