For some reason, people associate exercise with labor. Exercise is very satisfying. Feeling the wind across your face while jogging, and relaxing afterwards, is a very sensational experience. So when you exercise, don't think of it as a chore. Do it because you enjoy it. I have no idea how old you are, but if you have siblings or kids, go bikeriding with them, or play a sport, or rollerblade. It doesn't have to be the standard walk-or-run routine.

It's fine if you eat a lot. I have 2 suggestions.
1) My mom is on the Atkins diet. She eats frequently, but consumes about 5 carbs a day. She's lost 4 pounds in a week, and she doesn't exercise much. So you should consider the Atkins or South Beach diet while exercising regularly.
2) Eat low-calorie foods. There are certain types of jello that have 5 calories per cup. 5 CALORIES PER CUP! You can have 10 cups of jello as a snack and only get 50 calories for it. Also, fruits are very low in calories. I personally eat an apple for breakfast. Guess how many calories that is. 80. And I find fruit to be filling. Low-calorie foods include flavored water, yogurt, celery, carrots, broccoli, and asparagus.

I highly advise you to replace sodas, alcohol, milkshakes, tea, coffee, etc. with water or Crystal Light drinks. Also, replace sugar with Splenda or Sweet-n-Low.

I hope I helped. Losing weight takes discipline, but you can do it.

The truth of the matter is that you can east whatever you would like to but in moderation and proper portions. Before you begin any diet what you need to do is calculate your body mass index rate and how many pounds you should be around to see if you are within a healthy range already or not.

You mentioned you wanted rid of baby fat and wanted better thighs. You might be in your healthy weight range already but might need only to work out to get your thighs the way you need them and your stomach a wee bit flatter.

You need to see your family doctor. They will give you a check up and tell you what to do to successfully diet and reach your goals safely. They may also determine you to be at the proper weight for your height and may not want you to diet just to lose a pound or two.

While you meet with your doctor ask him/her about healthy food portions, trans fat etc. and what you should be eating and how much. If you are the type of person who eats a lot but burns all of it off you should be okay. The doctor can also link you up with a nutritionist who can make the proper diet plans for you that you can stick to.

Before going on any diet for safety sake see your physician. I have a few tips for you below.

You can have pizza but you have to knock off completely the pepperoni and sausage. Focus on veggies as toppings and do not put any extra sauce or cheese on it. In fact you want the lightest amount of cheese on it possible. You will want to order vegetarian pizza or hawaiian usually.

The sandwhich is fine, whole wheat bread is excellent for you as are the grapes. Forget the hot sauce and above all drink lots of water which you are indeed doing. You need 4-5 bottles of spring water for a whole day to be peoperly hydrated anyway.

You need to check the ingrediants of the sun chips and figure out if they have any trans fat, bad oils or ingrediants as your doctor and nutritionist may in fact tell you that they are among the worst things you can snack on.

Try rice cakes instead, and when it comes to cookies always choose digestive cookies or those that contain no sugar such as diabetic cookies (they taste good trust me).

Now when it comes to exercise you need to talk to your doctor again as they will be able to help you develop the right exercise plan for you based on your health. Do not try to attempt setting one up fopr yourself on your own as it may not be safe. You could be doing too much of something or could hurt yourself.

An example of that is lifting weights unsupervised or too much or doing areobics or contact sports like boxing etc. when your body simply cannot take it. Dieting and being successful at it all deponds on what your health is like going in.

Also, a word of advice don't ever apply the words "I can't' to anything you are trying to acheive. If you get in the habit of believing you are incapble of doing certain things even when you have the natural abilities to do them you'll never acheive anything as that statement will defeat you and make it near impossible.
