Diet Pill

Question Posted Tuesday March 13 2007, 11:29 pm

Does anyone know a really good diet pill that i can get in a drug store like CVS? I am looking for a pill (thats safe) that can help me get a flat stomach, and thinner thighs. It cant be perscription and i would have to be able to buy it by myself (i'm 16, and my parents would flip out if they knew).

Thanks so much!!!

Diet pills are 1) expensive &2) worthless because once you stop taking the pills your metabolism goes back to the way it used to be if not slower and you gain back the weight you lost, and then some.

the best way to loose weight is eating healthy and lots of exercise at least 3-4 times a week if not every day for at least and hour if not more. Cardio is what you need to burn fat; weights are for strength, definition/toning, and building more muscle (which will make you look bigger if you still have not burnt off that fat). exercise all you like but the key to losing weight is your nutrition and eating habits.

stop eating sugar, dairy, and white processed wheat, fatty/greasy foods. now you may think not eating dairy is bad because "you wont get your protein" but in fact dairy is bad fo ryou because your body can not handle breaking down the milk protein. you can get your calcium other places such as dietary supplements (calcium pills/tablets). Sugar causes your body to have thicker blood and cause breakouts etc. as well as trigger your body into being "hungry".

now completely going off all these is impossible, you might be able to do it for a few days or weeks if your lucky, but sooner or later youll crack and say "screw it, imma eat what i want!". you have to slowly cut back on those things, choose one main group to focus on primarily and cut down significantly on the others. have a "treat" every once in a while to get that "fix". also cut down your snacking in between meals if your eating large meals 2-3 times a day. your better off eating several small meals throughout the day with healthy snacking than 3 large meals each day. when eating, eat slowly so your stomach registers its full, do not eat until your stuffed, just until full.

another important item is your sleep. make sure you have the energy to excercise each day and function properly, otherwise your body will make up that lost energy from lack of sleep by EATING MORE.

so EXRECISE, EAT HEALTHY, CUT DOWN PROPORTIONS, GET YOUR SLEEP!

hope ive helped,

Yes. Drug stores, like CVS, Walgreens, and Eckerds (sp?), should have diet pills. Grocery stores have them, too.

I strongly suggest you avoid diet pills. Diet pills do not help change eating habits. They just increase your metabolism for a short period of time, and I believe that when the pill wears off, your metabolism is slower than it was to begin with. Also, they're pretty expensive for a bottle of pills.

Whatever you decide, good luck.
