Q: okay so there is this boy named john, he has a girlfriend named shelby. theyve been on and off for 3 years. so while they were on a break me and him started to talk,(bf gfish) so i was really starting to like him , and he would always tell me he liked me. so me and john were getting pretty serious but then one day he randomly went back to his ex? so i was pretty pissed and hurt. so while he was wit her hes like im only w/ her so she doesnt go w. other guys. and yeah so we still flirted. and then they broke up again. so we startd talkin again. then he got a girlfriend again. and hes like i made such a mistake and i really want you and blah. he tells my friends this all the time. and hes always thinkin about me and brings me up to shleby. so ya recently the pas few nights i was thinking well fuck this im not waiting for him to be done w. shelby. so me and my ex starteed to talk and i started liking him again. so me and trey were talkin and shit so then he asked me back out and isaid yes. so then i go on aim in the morning and see i have an im from john sayin .. "wow you jus get a man like that? well i cant be mad since i did the same thing..hope it works out." wich i could tell it was SO fake. so i was like watever you ddi that to me twice and i never got mad at you. and hes like ight watever i was like okay shove that fake watever up your ass so then hes like okay i will then i was like i dont get it i did nothing to you and we werent guna work out since your never going to leave shelby. and i havent talked to him since that
but its like i totally rather be with john then trey but its like im not guna be his rebound and shit and wait for them to be over?

hes in the situation where he wants you and he wants shelby to want him. so heres what you do. show him he needs to choose.

tell him you like him a lot and youll go out with him only if he stops seeing shelby for good. if he flirts with her, dump him.

Q: I need to make some friends. I used to have friends last year, but this year (sophmore), I just can't seem to make any or hang out with anyone. I stopped caring about my hair and myspace and facebook...stuff like that. Could that be a reason that people have stopped liking me? I just need to know a way to make friends and stand out from all the people like me. I don't want to be like everyone else and I want the girls that I sometimes hang out with to like me. These girls are the kind that guys think are sooo "hot" and "can't wait til they turn 18." They hang out with skater boys (i'm jealous) and are really really pretty.
My life pretty much just sucks in general :)

Q: Hi Advicenators!! Okay so my prom is next friday..im really excited :) I still need some stuff though. for prom, i would definately consider fake eyelashes. you might want to get those put on professionally, but its just fine if you do it yourself!

makeup, its always better to match that with your skin and not your dress. please dont wear blue eyeshadow with a blue dress. you could, on the other hand, wear maybe navy mascara or eyeliner if youd like. if your going to sephora anyway, ask them their opinion about formal makeup to match your skintype. they will know best.

jewlery, i agree with the columnist below me, that thin silver chains would be so pretty!
you dont need a neclace and earrings. if your going to wear both, i think you should wear studs so ur not overdone.

Q: There are some girls in school that always bully me and I take and forget it like always but this time they've gone to far. They told me that if I didn't go with them to their house they'll do something really bad to my family and I beleived them so I called my mom on the phone and told her I was going to sleepover some friends house. Then I went with the girls and they had told me that if I didn't do what they say I would get beaten up. So when we got to their house There was this teenage guy on the door eyeing me everywhere and that gave me the creeps. When we got to the door he put his arm around my waist and told me we were going to have fun that night. The girls sent me to a room and demanded for me to put on the clothes on the bed. I refused (it was like a bikini thing) so one of the girl's slapped me and told me it was either that or naked. I changed and was ordered to go to a room and lay on the bed and wait. A while later the boy I had seen earlier he told me "Looking nice and that's the way I like it" I was so scared to answer so I just shut my mouth. The boy than came over and touched me everywhere and then suddenly stopped and he told me what he was doing was wrong but than again he came down on me again and kissed me and this time he got something that I think was a condum and sarted to undress himself and once again he stopped and said he shouln't be doing this but that my body urged him to and again he got on top of me and he forced something into my mouth and I dozed of. The next morning I woke up with his arm on my bra and the fingers of his other hand on my( you know). I tried to get up but found out I was tied and there was tape around my legs so I fell and my ankle twisted and I yelped and my stupid self woke the guy up. He told me that if I wanted to go I had to suck his private part but I refused so he pushed to the bed and started hitting me and when he was done he told me "that he was gonna do something weather I like it or not. He tied me good this time so that I couldn't move. He revealed my breast and poured milk on them and started sucking on them so hard it hurted me. He went licking down my body until he got to between my legs there he started licking everywhere and then put he's finger in there and pushed really hard until I let out a painful scream. I would win good money with this but it just doesn't feel right sometimes he brings friends over, old men touch and even sleep with me and sometimes they even poor beer all over me and 3 at a time lick and suck on my skin and sometimes even bite me. it's been going on for days now and I want to stop but I care about my grandma also the girls say they'll kill me if I sop and I really beleived them because they once killed a because he was such a nerd but that was in another state. This is in no way your fault. the girls and the boy who did this to you are horiable horiable disgusting people. tell the police, tell your parents, tell a guidence counslor, tell ANYBODY! but tell someone now!

Q: I'm in photography, and our next assignment is portraits. We have to do self portraits and natural lighting [i.e. sunlight], which can be of anyone. For self portrait, I had the idea of doing a picture like this columnist did:

you should put the camera on timer and go a couple of times to get it right.

if i were you, i wouldnt look at the camera. i would look down or to the side or up but not at the camera. and curl ur eyelashes!

you could take some pictures near sunset so its kind of dreamy, not too much light. be sure to catch thesunset in the background! this also works for sun-Rise!

would your teacher let you take some at night? as dark as you can have it be where you can still barely makeout your features (without flash)

you could set up a tripod so it gets you at an angle from above, and have it take a picture of you sitting in the grass with flowers around, maybe one in your hair. makesure you arent looking at the camera, but looking down at the flowers or smiling at somthing dead ahead. maybe you could be reading a cool book like romeo and juliet or somthing.

Q: Hello I just turned 26 (female) My boyfriend and I have been together for over 2 years now. Without a doubt he's the love of my life. I love him more than words can describe and the best thing is that he feels the same way about me :)

He landed a amazing gig where he will be recording in Shanghai for a month. It's been a few weeks now and we are both missing each other like crazy.

During these weeks in his absence I've been having these disturbing recurring dreams were I cheat on him. I have sex and fool around with random guys that I don't know. In my dreams while I'm doing this I feel guilty during and after the sex we have. Every dream ends with my boyfriend finding out and being furious that I broke his heart. I wake up feeling absolutely awful and guilty. I can't understand why I'm dreaming of these things that I would never do in my waking life!

Does anyone know why my mind would come up with such a dream and how to stop having them?

Q: hi well this is about me & my boyfriend.. we both have trust issues..but weve been dating 7 months so we trust each other with everything..but im very paranoid bout him going thru my phone..bc, well my parents split up & now my mom & i are dirt poor, & i cant afford my phone. so, im REALLLY not proud of this, but i send this guy..pictures..& he pays my bills. so he text me last night saying "hey sunshine" & my bf saw it..& he kept asking who that text was from & i was drunk so i said idk then i deleted it. & then he saw i deleted it..& now he says he doesnt trust me anymore bc of me not telling him (he doesnt know about the pics..) & i feel so hurt bc he doesnt trust me anymore (but i would feel the same if the roles were reversed) but i dont have any money and i dont consider it cheating bc idk this person, theyre on another coast, & i have NO feelings for him. but it kills me inside whenever i do it & i want to regain my bfs trust but i just dont know what to do..about any of it..please help??

Alright. This is just a question about priorities. But nobody on this website (or anywhere, for that matter) can decide your priorities for you. Because each person has their own.

So lets see the things going on in your situation. There is your boyfriend, who loves you but cant trust you because you are keeping secrets from him. lets make him A. Is it worth it to tell him, and save your relationship? Or is it more worth it to keep your secret (and your cell) but let your relationship suffter because of it?

Then, there is this man who you are sending pictures to. And you say you dont care about him at all. We can call him B. You have no reason to trust him (you actually have reason not to trust him, because he is doing somthing illegal) and yet, he has acess to all of your information since he is in control of your phone bill. If you were to get him angry, what would he do? What would he be capeable of doing? Could you handle that alone?

Then you have your mom. [C] . What would she think if she found out about this? And if you did tell her, would she help you out? What advice would she give you? Would she want you giving pictures to this man? Is it somthing she would do? Is it ruiningg your relationship, the fact that you need to hide the fact that you have a cell phone? Are you or your mom in danger since the man has your information? Just aspects to think about. Is it worth it to tell your mom, or not?

D is your cell phone. What is it worth giving up? Im addicted to my cell, so i understand. But is it worth all the trouble you are going through for it? Is it even worth getting a job to pay for? Or could you live without it? How important is it to you?
And finally, E. Thats your pride. How important is that to you? Important enough to have it stop you from telling your loved ones about the way you are getting money? But not important enough that it stops you from sending pictures of yourself to a strange man? What is your pride worth losing over? And what is it worth more then?

So youve got:
A: Boyfriend
B: Man
C: Mom
D: Cell
E: Pride

Now prioritise. In what order do you value these five things? Thats my advice to you. Figuire out your priorities, and act accordingly. If your cell phone is more important than anything, at all costs you should give up the others to get it. But if it isnt, you have some re-thinking to do.

Q: i spend a lott of time in my bedroom on a given day. even on the weekends, i stay up on my laptop talking to my friends, reading, or listening to music.

my room isn't particularly large, so i try to keep things reallyy simple and keep my tabletops clean and uncluttered. i'm pretty organized.

i want to make my bedroom more fun, literally. it's not that i lack things to do; i just want to make it more welcoming and bright.

however, here's where i'm having some issues, i don't want to repaint it and / or buy any new furniture. i'm not a big fan of wall posters because they seem to clutter my room and make it seem even smaller. i tried making polka dots and that looked cute for a while but i got bored of it.

how can i add color to my room without buying anything new, like bedsheets & lamps?

i know one tip i learned was to add a lot of lighting to your room to make it more fun in the nighttime. i already have three minilamps in my room, and my room is very well lit. what else can i do?

1. get a discoball!!! that would be fun.

2. i dont know if your too old for this, but you could put big stuffed animals all over the place.

3. you could put up framed pictures of your friends.

4. you could make a paper zig-zag that would go all around the room, going from top to bottom and back again. and tape pictures/memories on the zig zag.
