ok im growing out my hair and i want it to flip out like will it do it on its own or what do i need to do? please help me in a TIME to look hot.

it depends on your hair type. some hair types curl up or down when there is dead or split ends present but of course that is unhealty expecailly when growing out hair. so my best suggestion to you is to buy a curling iron and just curl it out when you want that style

Okay I have had my period for like a year now, or whateva. So like last month and this month, it didn't stay on as long as usual. I mean it used to come on for 5 days now it comes on for looks like 7. Is this normal? I mean what is wrong with me. I couldn't be pregnant, cause if your period comes on while you are pregnant it is shorter right? SOmeone help me please. Rate 5 for all GREAT and HELPFUL answers.

it may be the seasons. when its cold your body temperature is lower making your blood flow much slower. but when its hot your body temperature rises and your blood flows faster. making your period go for about two days longer.

This is going to sound riiculous, but it has nonetheless made me upset. My mom is a very good cook, and she normally makes her own pasta sauce when we have pasta for dinner. However, if we are just having pasta (i.e. just my sister & I) as a quick meal, we just have sauce from a jar. I never really liked the one from the jar we used, but I just went to my cousins and found a different one I love. After looking in FIVE stores my mom found it. I have been waiting weeks to have it again, & my mom finally made pasta again tonight! When I asked her what sauce we were having, it was the new one from the jar, and I was SO EXCITED. Then all of a sudden (hours later) I am in the kitchen & see my mom unfreezing her own pasta sauce. I said to her "I thought we were having the new one tonight" and she replied "oh we were, but then I asked your sister if she would prefer that sauce or mine, and she said mine." I was very mad at this...it's not that I don't mind having my mom's (it's really good) but I have been waiting for very long to have my new sauce & then my mom decides not to make it because my sister wanted someting different. I guess it not only disappointed me that I wasn't getting to have my sauce, but also that because my sister wanted my mom's sauce that's what we were having. It was like it didn't matter what I wanted, only what my sister wants. How should I handle this? Just wait until next time I have pasta, or say something? I don't want my mom to think I don't like her sauce either by insulting her.

next time your family has pasta ask your mom if your could have the suace in the jar... regardless of what your sister wants. so your sister can have your moms suace and your can have what you want.
and if your mom doesnt want to do that then ask her if she could go with what you want one time then the next have what sauce your sister wants.
and make sure to keep track so no one gets in an arguement.

i was outside for a while a couple nights ago and now my body is covered in mosquito bites. how can i stop them from itching and make them go away and not scar? i got bitten like this last year and my legs were covered in scars for a really long time. i have a ton on my feet and my feet scar wicked easily.

dont scratch the bites. if you feel hte urge to have something to keep BOTH your hands occupied. and you can try calamine lotion to keep them from itching.

Ok, I've been going to private school for 9 years, and for the first time I will be going to public. I'm really freaked out. Is public school really as bad as everyone says? I mean do people like actually get beaten up and raped? and how do I protect myself? How do I know who to hang out with? Please help me.

RELAX...its okay. a lot of public schools are just as safe as a private school if not safer. if your unsafe about it when you make some friends tell them about it...im sure they will understand and will be willing to help you feel comfortable. as for who to hang out with look for someone like you...some one who enjoys the same thing as you.

well im 5 foot 8 and i wiegh about 117 but you may be lighter than that because i have a lot of muscle because i bike so id would say anywhere from 100-125.

Okay here is the scoop. I have a friend "Tory" who is pregnant. She didn't tell me her aunt did because her grandma kicked her out when she found out that "Tory" was pregnant. Her aunt wants me to talk to her but I can't bring it up until she tells me. But then again I don't think she wants to tell me because It is like a competition thing between us in her eyes, she always compares things. But I don't look at our friendship like that. But anyways when she tells me what can I say to make her feel like I will be there for her, which I will but I still don't know what to say Please HELP

ok so this saturday is my friends birthday and there is going to be funday at this park (not an amusement park) along with fireworks.. i want to go but my dad got tickets to see a baseball game (only a $10 ticket) and they are staying overnight

half of me really wants to stay home so i can have friends over and have a good time while my parents and family is out..but part of me feels guilty because i saw how disappointed my dad was when i told him i want to maybe stay back

he said i could stay back if i slept over a friends house (i would really stay at my house) but i dont know if i should chose going with my family or staying back

***my fam and i already saw a mets game, tony hawk skate show, and a pro softball game so its not like we never do stuff together..but im alwways hangin with friends**

what would you honestly do in this situation?

i would have to say hang with your family. having friends over while your parents are gone could get you in a lot of trouble. and like you said your always hanging with your friends. so dont worry about it. and enjoy the time going with your parents and when your old and they are dead you can look back (if you remember it)

i just saw a commercial on those clear braces taht you can take in and out and you get a new one like every 2 weeks or something and they like work in a year and stuff like that. but can anyone tell me if they really work well. how much do they cost (if u know, if not..its ok) do they work as good as normal braces?? cause i am almost 15 and going into high school and i have to get braces and i dont want to be in high school with braces.

they dont work as well as the metal braces. plus they are more expensive. and no they dont work in a year.

tell your bf that you need a break. sure he will be sad even mad. but there is no way that you can get rid of a bf without breaking his heart. as for your crush take a little time to get to know him. make friends with him before you make the big move. that way while your makeing friends with him it will give your bf time to cool off. so when you ask your crush there will be time inbetween the breakup and the big move so it wont look like you dumped you bf for you crush.

no it would not complicate things. you have to remember age is just a number. i would take taht chance because after all you like him alot and your pretty sure that he likes you to so why not. if things do go wrong you could tell him to act like it never happened and then the two of you can go on with your lives.
