This might be a little long--but I need help so please read it..Thanks!
Well we just got to pick where we sit for lunch and we have to sit there all year. There's 6 other girls at my table, and like 3 are my good friends. Two of the other girls (besides my friends) that sit there are kind of shy, but nice, and I still talk to them. But the last girl..she is SO annoying. She just sat there when we chose tables, and some of the girls like her so they said 'okay' to her. Well we sit where everybody walks by us when they get their lunch and the girl I don't like is always yelling "HI..HI...HI!" to everybody, and it gets so annoying. Then she tries to take food from people when they are walking with their trays. If the people she says 'hi' to don't answer her or if they dont give her food, she slaps them. I mean, she's SO rude to everyone. I tried to tell her that it's not nice to slap people and try to take people's food..because it IS their lunch..THEY bought. She just tells me to shut up when I say something to her. I'm not gonna tell a teacher either because it's not a big deal. She just needs to learn manners and I don't know what to do. She's driving me crazy!! She thinks she's really cool, too, but not a lot of people like her. She has SUCH a big mouth! I just don't know how to deal with her---please help! thanks so much.. (link)

Just ignore her. If she slaps you or tries to rob your food then slap her back. She'll get the message.

When i burn my music to a CD-RW, my computer closes the cd, there for making it a cd-r. how can i stop it from closing the cd? (link)

There should be something in the options menu to change that. I could be more specific if i knew what cd burning program you're using.

Oxycontin is an opiate. Opiates are highly addictive. I'm not sure about oxycontin but i'm told you can get hooked on heroin (also an opiate) after the first time. Also opiates tend to cause constipation. If you were thinking about taking them then I wouldn't recommend it.

Fact of life, both guys and girls look at people they're not involved with. It dosen't mean she wants to get with any of these people, it just means she's enjoying the view. You know what they say, there's no harm in window shopping.

My friend and I were exchanging secrets, and i found out that she had been cutting every time she got stressed out; she swore she'd stop, but then I saw two more marks... she just said she'd stop again, and she was talking about it like its no big deal.
(she's been through a lot... she was adopted when she was six, and she thinks her real parents sexually abused her (and beat her)).

It might be a good idea to tell an adult about this. On the other hand if said adult goes to her about it she'll realize you've told someone her secret and that could do more harm than good. If I were you I'd just be there for her, let her know that she's got a friend she can go to instead of a razor.

She should tell her mum straight away. She should probably go and get an abortion. 14's too young to try and bring up a kid. If abortion dosen't suit her then adoption might be a good idea. Also next time she and her boyfriend should take some sort of precautions against this kind of thing.

Hey, i'm 15 and a junior in high school. soo.. my problem is that i like this guy which i have for the past two years. i know he likes me to, the only thing is that his parents are was strict and wont let him date. Also i am older than him..by less than a year but i am in two grades higher just because thats how it worked out. he said his parents wont let him date till he's 18 well that wont be till i'm about a sophomore in college. but i really do like him and sometimes i try to tell myself its not worth it. he's my best friends cousin, and i've never told her i liked him even though i really do. i'm not sure whether i should give up on him and try to find a way to like someone else, or just wait it out. also do you think i should tell my friend? i'm scared it'll be wierd. Cigs should be a definite no no. They're highly addictive and cost far too much. Weed however is a different story. It's not physically addictive (you want more but you don't get withdrawal if you don't have any). It sounds like you want to try it so I say go ahead. I don't know much about it but there are probably health risks (you're taking smoke into your lungs, that can't be good). Also if you decide to buy it yourself it is pretty expensive. There's research out there that links weed to psychosis bud there's also research that shows no link between the two. I say if you wanna try it then try it. If you don't like it then there's no harm done.
