Hello, my name is Sarah and I'm a sophmore in highschool. I've been through many exhausting and depressing trials with friendship and drama and know my fair share of heartbreak. If you have a problem I'll be here to answer so don't be hesitant. :]advice
My boyfriend is having his confirmation in May and he's asked me to pick his confirmation name for him. I'm not really a religious person so I'm really not sure what names would be appropriate to pick for him, or a name that would "flow" well with his name. Does anyone know of a site they could refer me to so I could look at names, or if anyone could suggest a name. My boyfriends full name is Timothy James Walsh, by the way. No that's not true, but sometimes girls that are just starting are more comfortable with pads. It all depends.
i was thinking about highlighting my hair with blonde. my hair is dirty blonde and lightens up in the summer but i want my hair a little lighter. but some people have told my any thing done to your hair like dying it or highlighting it makes your hair gross and dry. i dont want to put any product in if it will make my hair look/feel weird. so if anyone can tell me if highlighting your hair does anything to it thanks.
It's different with some dyes.. I had blonde hightlights once and my hair is completely fine. Just don't go cheap on your product or bleach.. it can really fry it.

In my opinion.. dying is apart of life. It completes the circle because from you grows new things.. In Mexico they celebrate it as moving forward and into a better eternal life (aka heaven). I'm not afraid of death for the one reason that I know it'll be fate that I die.. That'll it'll be right. If you worry your life away about well then you've just built up this whole life worrying about something that every living thing goes through.
My boyfriend wants me to kiss him before he kisses me. At least I think so. It seems like it because after we go somewhere together...for example we went to the movies. When I got home i was talking to one of his friends online and he said hows come you didnt kiss him? And I think he should kiss me first!!! What should I do??
You shouldn't be forced to make the first move.. but sometimes I think you might have to. Some guys like outgoing girls and some girls that are shy like outgoing guys.. I think that matches to 'opposites attract' but anyway.. if you are both shy about it, I think you should wait until the moment when you know it's the right time, don't rush it.

ok my friend well she went out with this guy, and she used to be like a good friend of mine, she used to say that like we are best friends and all, but really she was never my best friend.
so now her boyfriend broke up with her, but she sill loves him, and she said that she cant get over him, and that hes the only guy she can ever go back out with. now that guy told me that he likes me, i mean i dont know for sure but it really sound like it, cuz ok he told me he likes me and he always tells me " i love you" and i went to the movies, and he was there and he asked me to sit by him and he putted his arm around me and he kept telling me that he loves me and sutff like that, and he was askin me if i love him! he kissed me on the cheek. so than i called him like 2 days later, and he asked me who i liked and i kept asking him who he likes and he didnt want to answer until i did, so i didnt asnwer so by the end he asnwered and said that he likes me, and i said that i like him, and i think he was serious about it, because i told him to be serious. and i said well what do you want do about it? and he said if i asked you out would you back off on me for your friend? the girl he went out with! and i said i dont know. and i was like so wat do you want to do? and he said he has to think about it. now my other friends keep telling me that i like him, and they cant know that because i dont want my friend to know that i like her ex. and now she asked me if i liked him and i said "no" cuz she still likes him a lot! but i do, and i dont know does he like me to? and what should i do? its really annoying this whole thing.

Well ok, it's sounds like he may genuinely like you.. But if I were you I would completely back off until your friend is ok with everything. Or at least talk to him about how your friend really cares for him. If you and him were meant to be, then your friend and him will break up and you will have your chance. :) hope I helped.

Ok...I've never met this kid in person but I talk to him online all the time. He's lets call him J's friend, and lets call him B. Well J told me that B likes me...I want to know if it's possible to like someone that you never met in person? I think I like him.
Well it just means you like someone deeper than appearence in my opinion. By only talking to them you like them for their personality I'm guessing, or that's how he feels. I think that is great, and if he's friends with someone else than you know it's safe. I'd say if you like him that you should completely give it a chance and meet him. :)

Ok well I was talking on the phone to my bf last night, and I was on the internet. There was a banner-ads at the top of the page, and because I was bored I read it to him. It said "find out how well you kiss by taking this quiz". And he asked me what I was reading, and I told him it was a banner-ad thing. He then replied "I wonder how well I can kiss". I then just said "um, ok".
My question is- do you think he wants to kiss me? I want to kiss him, but I don't know if the feeling is mutual! We are going on a date tonight, and I want to know if he might kiss me.

If you don't want him to kiss you then you can politely push him away.. you don't have to do anything you want to do and the best guys are the ones you respect that. He may kiss you, or he might just trying to be smart or make a funny comment. Either way I don't think you should worry too much..
OK let me start from the beginining:
I was set up with this guy by my best friend. He is so cute and nice and I was starting to really get into him, but then he got too into me (i.e. he wrote all about me on his xanga and profile and invited me to prom on our 2nd date and he called like once if not twice a day at least.) So i had a talk with him telling him that I felt we were moving extremley fast and there was no reason for that so he took it so well and totally agreed, he even said "yeah I agree, I thought I might have been coming on very strongly." So everything was good and he laid off just a little bit. we hung out again not last saturday, but the saturday before and everything was fine but he hasnt called me since. When I go online and he's online, he doesn't IM me. I texted him yesterday and he didnt text me back (he is always good with returning my texts within like an hour.)
I really do like this guy, and I don't know what to do now. Can someone please give me advice (I don't want to sound desperate, so thats why I'm not calling him. I assume that if he's not calling me, there is a reason). Please help me. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'll rate high.
Well you did tell him to lay off a bit. Maybe he doesn't really know where the happy medium enlies.. You don't want to seem really picky, I understand that, but maybe you should text "hey? where are you?" you know? I think dropping suttle little hints will give him a point.. he seems like a really nice guy...

I don't think so, but really you should remember that most guys in seventh (and eighth) are really immature.. if he is respectful and nice, I say why should age matter? it's only a year right? Go for it.

chill.. that's normal.. haha, it's the same for me, if people would be considered normal. Take things at your own pace, you don't need someone else to complete you always remember and don't get desperate to be with the wrong person. Just wait, you'll find someone. :)
i'm 15/f. i was at my aunt/uncles house today. me & my cousin were in the basement. her dad came down to look at his cellphone, then went back upstairs. once he left, my cousin said "i think my dad is having an affair." she opened up the text messages on his cell & they were from the same woman. they said "yeah what we're doing is so wrong i hope no one finds out" etc. my aunt & uncle have always had marriage problems, but as of now, me and my cousin are the only ones who knows about his affair. I asked my cousin if she's going to tell her mom and she said "NO WAY I'LL GET IN SO MUCH TROUBLE FOR LOOKING THRU HIS PHONE AND I DON'T WANT TO CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS!" She doesnt seem to care tho, but i'm so freaked out and my question is, what should i do, (should i do anything at all...?)
It's really not your place to say anything in my opinion.. But what your uncle doing is really wrong, if he was having problems with the marriage and wanted to be with someone else he'd do the right thing and get a divorce. I think if your aunt is smart she will figure it out, I mean.. you guys figured it out.. so I think she would..
Umm..is it normal for your kidneys to hurt when your on your period? if not, please tell me what can i do about it.
How do you know it's your kidney's? If it's in that general area though I'd call it cramps. This is PERFECTLY normal, and there are medicenes you can get at the drugstore to make them less painful.. :)

Im so sick of this. I have a friend and one weekend we were suppost to go to the mall together, Well I kinda ditched her.. but anyway the thing is one my birthday she ditched me!! Well today my other friend basically ditched me.. its not like I havent felt it before and I told her about it. She said "It sucks right?" So I said "Well duh.. but wouldnt it suck more if it was on your fricking birthday?!?" and I walked away... I feel bad.. but then I dont want to talk to her. What do I do?
Ok.. you.. ditched her.. first. Take that into consideration. You know, revenge is sorta wrong.. but you had it coming in my opinion. She shouldn't have done it on your birthday.. that was a tinge worse than you ditching her at the mall.I think you need to apologize to her because afterall.. you did start this mess for some reason or another..
omg my parents are so annoying. they are constantly on my case about ANYTHING. for example, i got a 95 on a tuff quiz. they were just like blowing it off. and keep in mind im almost failing that subject. They make a big deal out of low grades but when i get a high grade they just blow it off. and when im home alone, they CONSTANTLY keep calling me like every 5 minutes. and now i sprained my ankle and they keep telling me to do everything normally. i hate when they call because your probly thinking"they call b/c they love you" but no thats not it. and my dad always tries to play around but he just doesnt know when to quit. and if i forget to do like the simplest thing, my mom flips out at me. my parents just are so annoying. How can i make them less annoying? if that makes any sense?
I drown my parents out with music.. haha.. like.. march madness is driving me insane.. so I just plop some headphones over my ears, crank up some of 'The Used' and my sanity is preserved.. :)
Hey, I'm a girl and I'm 14 years old. Okay I'm sure I love guys and everything, but I'm attracted to my best friend and my best friend is also a girl and 13 years old. I know I'm not attracted to any other girls, but her. It's weird because I feel if I could be with her it would be less complex then with a guy and since I know everything about her and she knows everything about me I feel we could be very happy together. I don't look at other girls or watch porno to see girls at all. I flirt with guys but just a lot less now because I'm focused on my best friend and I. I know for a fact if she doesn't want to be with me that way I'll go back to guys and I'll have no regret in my life becuase i went for her. We've experimented 3 times now and liked it time. One time she's wanted me so badly she's licked her lips at me and at the same time stared deep in my eyes craving to touch me. We do have a plan to try to go to college together and live together and get a big house together. We feel very relaxed and happy around each other. My life couldn't feel anymore complete without her. It's like guys are a last resort because I know if I can't have be with her then I'll go for guys. I'm very scared to tell her because if I do she'll be freaked out and wouldn't wanna be best freinds with me anymore or just be around me anymore. Please help a girl out!
If she was craving for you to touch her.. most likely she's bi, or lesbian.. I'd say go for it, like you said yourself what do you really have to lose? You could always go back to guys if you want to.. or find another girl.

That's how many people are in the chat at that time. and if you click on the chat button it should show that you need to download a certain program.. and give you the link for it, if you don't have it already.

It's probably just playful.. If I were you I would chill out. Some guys just don't understand that girls are really sensitive to stupid jokes.. espescially if they don't leave enough hint that it is really a joke.
