im a freshman going into catholic highschool. we normally have to wear uniforms, but we have orientation on sept 1 and we can wear our own clothes. they said they have to be "dressy/casual" yet approriate, like no skin showing and whatnot. does dressy/casual mean that you should wear nice pants, or can you wear jeans? and im into REALLY standing out, i like wearing stripes, polka dots, bold bright colors, jewelry, bows... what do you think i should wear on that day... without being "inappropriate"?

I have dark brown hair, blue/green eyes, tan skin, I'm 5'5, and I'm skinny. What kinds of makeup will bring out my eyes like eyeshadow? Me to!! I would say go to MAC or any other department store makeup counter. It is SOOO worth it. I went to MAC this time last year before school started and got 4 eye shadows and just ran out and I used them every day of the year. The price is so reasonable for the quality and how long they last. It's such a good investment. Plus, they match you with colors that go good with your eye/skin/hair colors. They gave me a really pretty gold color for my lids and for my creese I had a brown that goes with it. It looks awesome.

I am 16 years old weigh 115 lbs and im 5'4". Well I was trying on homecomming dresses at my friends house But every dress I tried on I felt soooo fat or shall I say I LOOKED so fat! I was about to cry but I couldnt cry infront of everyone. Homecomming is in about 1 month and a half away. Should I go on a diet or should I just tell my friends I cant go. My friends would be sooo mad at me if they find out im not going because I never been to a dance before. Its NOT as easy as you think it is. I been thinking about it day in and day out. Your friend probally had a different body type then you. I know you were trying to save money, but if you go to the store you can find one that complements your body. In the department stores they have body shapers which I sware by. They are spandex and some have under wire and they work so well! They pull your tummy in and make you look like 10 lbs lighter instantly. After you have a dress, bring it to the mall and try it on with some of these.

Ok, I'm pretty good with this because I always give my best friend whoes gay adive. Ok. I'm guessing he doesn't know your gay. If he is stright don't come on too hard because you don't want to loose a friend. When MY friend came out to me it was almost like he tested me to make sure I'd accept him before he totally came out (I was the first person he came out to) He told me some story about a guy who came up to him and asked him if he was gay. Then he said the guy asked him on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being stright and 10 being gay what he was. My friend said he was a five and said it was inpossable for anyone to be a one and even the strightest people for 2 or 3. Then from week to week he'd rase the number, untill he finally told me.
My point is try that. Make sure your friend is totally accepting before you come out to him but when you do don't scare him off by accessive flirting or anything. If your friend is gay, after you come out, he'll probally come out too, but he might need a little more time.
When he comes out to you is your chance to flirt. Please don't flirt untill you know because you don't want to loose a friend.

the extra fat has NOTHING to do with your weight. If you eventually get rid of it you will gain weight. Thats because you need to build musel to make it not flabby.

I Was cast as puck in act five for the school play. I really hate that part. I really want to be in the school play but I really don't want to be puck, especially in act five. I don't understand why they cast me as puck since I'm a girl and auditioned for Titania and the lovers. What should I do?

Hey, I'm 13 and am having a slight problem. I started dancing when I basically stared to walk. I have been part of the "gifted singers" program for a while, I write poems and short stories, paint, and have gotten leading roles in many theater productions. I have no idea where to invest most of my energy! What path should I choose? ~insanity_will_dominate
I would definately say musical theater! If your an actor in the show you can sing and dance. Then when you decide you want to do more (when your older) you can write songs (poetry) and a musical (short stories). With your painting you can design sets and paint sets

i am, well, you could say a Drama Geek. lol. i have not missed even ONE audition for any school or community plays since i started my freshman year (i am finishing my junior year right now). there for a while i kept getting chorus or extra, which was fine to start with, but when i decided i wanted bigger parts, last summer, i was not put in any production for about year now!!! i try out and try out, but never even get a part! is there anythign i can od to improve my skill and/or have a better audition?
Get a vocal coach. Have them pick a good song for your voice type and level that will show off what you have. My vocal coach also shows me some things to do so I'm not just standing there the entire time. mail me if you want more advice.

how do i prevent the red razor bumps on my bikini line from coming when i shave? and how do i get a very close shave to where you cant even tell there is hair there? i want it all gone but everytime i shave it just turns red and gets razor burn.
make sure you exfoliate before you shave. When you shave, make sure you shave down in the dirrection of the hair, not against the hair (I made that mistake) I you want a "close shave" shaveing isn't going to accomplish that. Your going to need a bikini wax.

I live in California and I think they will be out. It's almost fall. Don't you think you'd look a little stupid in a short cloth skirt. If you want a skirt go for knee length in denum or tweed (tweed will be so hot this school year)
