I have class with this boy, we'll call him bob. So bob is a year younger then me and asked me to prom two months before prom was scheduled and we talked and stuff, but we weren't acquaintences or anything, but I said no to him for prom, cause i didn't want to go with him and made some excuse. Well, at prom I saw him there while my date wanted to sit down and take a break, so Bob asked me to dance and i did for a couple of minutes and then broke free cause I didn't want to dance with him. Yesterday Bob asked me if I wanted to hang out and I said no because I wasn't going to be in that area. Then he asks me when I will be free to hang out (through a text) but I haven't responded yet, but he's not getting the message that I don't want to hang out with him. I don't know how to handle this situation and at prom I only danced with him cause I felt bad for him that I rejected him and went with someone else. The school i go to is pretty small and everyone knows everyone, but I want to get this guy off my back. Any advice? Thanks (sorry for the length)

Okay umm this might sound like im being a jerk, but please know i am not in ANY WAY trying to be. Im just making it simple to see.
-suck it up and tell him the truth so you are not sending mixed signals
-the reason why he wont leave you alone is because the majority of guys have difficulties reading between the lines so you have to spell it out.
-my school is small too, like 300 kids in the high school, but you cant make everyone happy. you are going to break hearts and vice versa. If you dont like him tell him. Thats all there is to it.

I Wrote this to my best friend that I know for 8 years and I like her more than a friend.
I told that I had feelings for her. And she said she not ready for a relationship right now and she unsure of her sexuality. But last night my guy friend called me we talked for a while then he told me that he ask her out over the phone. She reasoned “Kim played a song for me that is repeating over my head about friends" (I am Kim) well I try to remember what song I played for her.....but I never played a song for her. I wrote that poem for her after I told her how I felt about her. Was she quoting the poem? Is she repeating that over and over her head????

So my parents may be getting a divorce. they act like theyre fine when me and my sis are around but when we walk away they fight and scream and everything and my mom wants to kick my dad out of the house, etc.

So i was wondering, how does one parent get custody bc i really want to be with my mom bc im like afraid of my dad and is there any way i can choose? thanks

most the time if you are 14 and up, you can tell the judge and he/she will listen to the child. Tell the judge exactly how you feel and dont hold back. My parents are divorced too. And my dads attourney told me one day, if i ever got unhappy at my moms that i could tell the judge and he would give my dad custody. I dont see that happening any time soon...haha

So there is this girl, she doesnt go to my school, but her and all her girls at school always thought my ex was cute and stuff when i was going out with him. and this girl who i thought was my friend danced with him at a dance after we had broken up, then came and told me about it? and im like okay. and then the next day she apologized over a message and stuff and how it was nothing. and i told her i didnt care because i didnt want to start anything. hurting people is the last thing i'd do and i tend to keep my feelings bottled up inside so no one is hurt and everyones still my friend because thats the kind of person i am. well now i see they have been getting closer, and yeah hes moving in a month or two, but they've been getting awfully closer lately, and i dont know if i should say anything or what? i don't want to ruin a friendship, but then again is she actually my friend. i want to tell her how i feel but i am afraid of hurting the friendship and the friendship i have back with my ex finally. i am just bugged by it. thanks everyone!:)

So people understand, I'm 17 and my brother is 15. This past Sunday I was in my room getting ready to take a shower. I heard a noise from my brother's closet (his closet shares a wall with my room) but figured my brother was just doing something there, and went about my business. After my shower I came back to my room and started getting ready for bed. As I was putting on my underwear I heard a noise again in my brother's closet like a moan. I don't know why, but I felt wierd. After I put on my pj's I looked at the wall and saw a small hole about seven feet up the wall. On Monday afternnon I went into my brother's closet and saw the hole. My brother can see almost my entire room. It was him I heard spyong on me on Sunday.

I come from a very religious Jewish family. My brother was always very religious. He even has private Jewish studies teachers to learn more than he gets in school. I can't believe he would do such a thing. When I think about how he's seen me undressed and doing very private things, things no one knows I've done, I get sick to my stomach. I don't know what to do. Sould I talk my parents, should I confront my brother? My parents probably won't believe he ever spied on me because he's such a good kid and I don't want to have that kind of discussion with my brother about what he did and saw. I can't talk to teacher or friends about this because I might have to admit to doing those private things. But I feel like i'm going to explode

He would be waking up with bruises and broken limbs. It is probably because he is hormonal and what not. When you hear the moaning noise, shove something through the hole to stab him in the eye. Or do a stake out in his room and scare him when he least expects it

if you mean fun then go to school games and hang out with people, or go to the mall with friends and act like total dorks. Take funny pictures. Just do something, its kind of hard to explain. Just do what makes you happy!

I'm 16 & me & my family dont get along at all. I dont see life the same as my family does. They try to restrain me from having a life & its getting hard. They try & keep me very close to them when they know I'm growing up. They want me to be baby again so that I'll just shutup & listen. Too bad it wont work. I need to figure out a way to be happy. thats parents for you..mine are like that too sometimes...you just got to realize that they will always want to protect you and will always want to baby you and will always do what they think is best for you. You just got to at least act like your listening and block it out if they make you mad...trust me i know...i have a step dad that hates me with a passion..i know...

My family can be really critical, but what they think will always matter to me, as well as my friends. So i just need some opinions from everyone.

Im on track to become a Nurse. but im about three years away from being totally done with it.. I really want to start a family.. i want to be able to have enough energy to have fun with my family. I love kids, i work with kids, but im worried that people might think im too young still. My family atleast tends to think that 35 is the perfect age to have children. So..

My question is: what is the RIGHT age for people to start a family? (assume they would be married)

My family is catholic, but i found out that my brother is "agnostic". This has happened recently, he is a seventh grader and only 13 years old. Will he grow out of this? He goes to church but he never says any of the prayers or anything. A lot of people think catholicism is too "strict" but our church isn't a normal catholic church; we have a youth choir that actually sings songs that aren't boring and we have youth groups and our priests are really nice and actually give good sermons. What can i do to help him? I don't want to shove it down his throat or anything...but what should i do? please help!

tell him what you think, but i think at a point we all doubt God...I however worship God...I love him and your brother will just have to have his beliefs...all you can do is tell him your side...

I've always wondered, to teachers get annoyed when students flirt in their class. I mean like today when I went to English class, this guy took my physics notebook and started flicking through it. Then he kind of hugged me and pulled me onto his lap and I couldn't get up.
Later when I managed to get to my seat my friend was like ''You know the teacher was looking at you and ____ with a raised eyebrow...and a weird look?''

So now I'm wondering, do they get pissed off..even though this happened before the lesson bell had gone.

Well my best friends mom is a teacher, and i must say they get more ticked than what some would think...but they are also nice people...

i would say that she would probably get mad because it was a classroom setting...
