yes thats right, he does love everyone. BUT he hates sin. the reason why there're some many againist gays, is because in the bible it calls it an abomination before God. it's of satan himself, i belive. another example from the bible, no where in the bible, when it talks about marriage, and how the partners are suppose to act, DOES IT mention a man with a man, or a woman with a woman. it only talks about a man with a woman. it also says that sex is only suppose to be done to make kids, and kids only. and not done for just pleasure. well thats another strike againist the gays. for they CAN NOT! make children. hope this helps.

alright, well. i was raised in a catholic family. we go to church every week, pray before we eat, the whole shibang. i believe in God, and love him,, but i just dont feel that "fire" for him that i think i should. how do i get it? how do i know if i really am "saved." i just really want to be close to him and to start living for him, not just myself. well i thank God that you're wanting the fire for him in you. not many people look for that. now, how you get the fire, is you ask God to forgive you of YOUR sins. don't go to the priest and have him do it, bible doesn't say nothin about a priest, its between you and God. after you do that, you ask jesus christ to come into your life, and change you. make you a better person. then you get baptised in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. any other whay will not work. then you start reading the bible, start seeking God, (pray to God) pray to God that he will give you the fire you need to do his will. then you will know, that you are saved. if you have done all these things, i can't wait to meet you up in heaven then. beacuse its a done deal. i hope this helped.

This question is for Christians, please.
I consider myself a Christian. I pray and whenever I do, I feel a sense of joy and I feel like I'm talking to the best person ever. But I always sin and I hate myself for it. Everyday, I judge people and I am vein and I get angry.
Whenever I do my hair or put on makeup, I feel like I'm being vein and I feel ugly in God's eyes. I also judge EVERYONE. Like, if I pass by an overweight person, I instantly think "That person is fat". This also makes me feel ugly to Him. I also gossip, lie..I do basically every sin except kill, steal, commit adultery, and worship idols. I repent though.
All of this sin that I do makes me feel like God won't accept me into Heaven when I die. I know that Jesus forgives us when we repent, but I sin so much that it seems like he would never let someone so sinful into his kingdom. When I ask to be forgiven, I always think "You've asked God to forgive you for doing that sin a million times. He won't give you another chance"

you know i've felt like this many times. and every time i do, i ask God how can he keep forgiving me. you what he tells me? matt its because i love you, and you have a purpose in life. and if you'll listenin closely when you pray, he'll tell you the same thing. don't think that seeing how you do these things, that God will turn his back on you. beacuse he won't. but what i belive you should do, is seek God about this, ask him to been near you. every time you think you're goin sin, pray to God in you're mind and ask him to hold you back from it. whats happening is satan is tryin to rag war with God over you. now we all know how that will end, IF you have faith in God, that he'll bring you through. ask God to help you with these things, bible says flie from satan, and satan will flie from you, draw near to God, God will draw near to you. so if you really watch yourself, you can stop doing these things. i know a video on youtube, that'll help you.

well the bible, is God's word. he had people here on earth right it for him, God them what to say and they put it down. now, in like the new testiment, when jesus came into earth, different people wrote different stuff, like paul he wrote what he preached. james did the same thing etc.... the book to matthew,mark, luke and john are book in the bible that one of the 12 discples of christ wrote, they contain jesus's life, teaching etc.... the old testiment, contains stuff that happened BEFORE christ walked the earth. hope this helped. have any questions or w/e, ask me or drop me an email at moneyman_651@hotmail.com

i can tell you what you need to do, seek God. read the bible, mattew or john is a good place to start, and what i mean by seek God, is pray to God, and ask him to take the depression away. also, please, for the love of God himself, don't like cut yourself, or commit suicde. i pray that you find the way out of this. hope this helps.

I grew up in an Episcopal Church and my husband of almost 2 years grew up in Church of Christ. We are both Christians, but why does there have to be many forms of baptism? I was poured upon as a small child and my husband was emerged when he was a young teenager. He accepts my beliefs but does not accept the way I was baptized. This is a big issue for me. Why would I want to be married to a man that does not accept fully me? Why would I want my children to grow up(when or if we have any) questioning me, "mommy why weren't you baptized?" Does this make sense to anyone? Has anyone went through this to know what I am talking about? If so, please give me advice or a way to show my husband that either way can be right.

well, both ways are correct, it only matters what the pastor said while doing it. "in the name of jesus christ i baptise you etc...." BUT IT MUST! be in the name of jesus christ. in the name of the father and the son etc... will not work. hope this helpes.

Is God real? I'm a raised catholic, but I for about 2 years now I've felt atheist/agnostic.
How do you know it's YOUR god that's real? What if there are many gods? what if there's a goddess?
just give me some proof.
because a lot of times i feel guilty for not being religious and i feel like i should be religious. But I don't want to save myself for marriage and I masturbate which makes me think that I shouldn't be a christian! Can i still be a christian even in spite of those 2 things?

yes God is real. the reason i know God is real, is that there is no one else, human, or anything thing, that can draw a perfect circle. what i mean by that is look at the earth, its a perfect circle. there is only but ONE God. thats it. if you read in the bible, for example the 10 commandments, the first one says"thou shall have no other God before me". now if you think of that in heavenly terms, not earthly, God is saying ok, im the one and only God. the rest are of satan/the devil. so worship me, and me only. now when moses brought down the 10 commandments from the mountain. he saw that the people he led out of egypt where worshipping a cow and etc... and God had just said, "thou shall have no other God before me". not a good thing. i think they were in the desert alil while longer than that. i cant remember, but i can remember what i just told you. now, you said that you don't wanna save yourself for marriage. girl, you're 14 YEARS OLD! my God have mercy. 14... bible says that sex is only suppose to be done to make kids, and kids only. (strike one againist gays lol) and not for pleasure. masturbating, is a type of sex correct? you cant make kids can you? nope, so its wrong to do that. yes you can still be a chrstian, in spite of those 2 things. BUT you must ask God to forgive you/repent of your sins. you must ask jesus into you're heart. then you must be baptised. but i pray that you seek God, pray to God, say'" God i dont know if you're real, but i pray you give me a sign that shows you're real, in the name of jesus i pray amen." simple as that. not hard. i hope this helps.

I am a Christian, and always have been. I pray at LEAST every other day, I occassionally go to church, I repent, I try to limit how much I sin, and I believe that Jesus is God's son.
I used to be very certain that I would end up in Heaven. But recently, I came across a Bible verse that has been on my mind for a while. It's Matthew 7:13-14.
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a fiew find it."
Now I'm basically VERY worried about not making it to Heaven. The Bible says that it's hard to get in, but it also says that believing in Jesus is the only thing you need in order to get into Heaven. So I don't know what to do. =[
I'm also kind of starting to wonder about other religions. I think "If Christianity isn't the true religion, then I'll go to Hell forever", so I worry even MORE.

I posted another question a few days ago about my Dad. But, for I think four or five years, I've been praying that my Dad would stop yelling. My mom has been praying since the day I was born that he would stop. He cusses, screams, you name it at me and my family. I can't take it. I'm crying typing this. I thought God answered all prayers. i promise you, that God has not turned a deaf ear towards your crys. in his due time, God will fix it. he'll do it when everyone has lost all hope. BUT you still gotta have faith. don't fall now, you've come to far. keep praying, keep seeking God, and God shall seek you. i hope this helps.

Hi. I'm 13/f
My problem is that My mom is really into christianity and all that stuff, but lately I've been getting into witchcraft.(yes, I know the bible says it's an abomination against God) My mom doesn't know, and so she still takes me to church with her every sunday.but whenever I'm in church, I feel like I'm getting a lecture or something like that. She's so into it, she sent me to private school because of the "Moral Values" of it. the truth is, all the kids there are pretty much the same as they would be in public school. We all cuss, some of us smoke and a few of us drink.I mean, I believe in god, but I also believe in spells. I've seen them work before and have succesfully done some. I'm not really sure what to do. I'm a teenage girl (raised catholic) who has been atheist/agnostic/unsure since the summer. I have encountered several recent events in my life that have lead me to believe that there really is a God after all. All of my friends are really strong christians- but I just don't think that God is real.
I don't know if Christianity is right- or even real... but I'm feeling compelled to recommit my life to Christ. What does that mean anyway? How can you "commit your life" to someone who isn't even real? Who IS Jesus? I mean this whole thing makes no sense. How can there be a God when there are so many other religions like islam and such? My prayers never came true as a Christian.
Oh, by the way- I hate going to church and i don't see the point in doing it. It never even brought me closer to this so-called God. To be a true Christian (not a poser) do you HAVE to attend mass? What if I just want to have my OWN faith? I also don't believe in Bible verses and stuff- like I don't think that the people in it were real. Why can't we just have faith in GOD and not all the crap that goes along with it? (link)

if you feel compelled to recommit your life to christ. then i pray that you do it. and jesus is real, you just can't see him in front of you right now. and jesus is God in the flesh who died on the cross about 2000 years ago, for our sins. the was raised from the dead in 3 days. and are you sure your prayers didnt come true? the way you make it sound, is like a wish or somethin. when you pray you ask God for what you need, and say at the end of the prayer,"in the name of jesus christ i pray amen" and belive that God will do what you asked. the term christian, is someone who belives in christ, whos been forgave of thier sins, and has christ in thier lifes. the way you put it, you mixed christian with catholic. same thing, christian is the main catagory, while catholic is the sup catagory.and also, who do know, that can make a perfect circle? nobody beacuse no human can make a PERFECT circle. Yep, so two of my friends and I were discussing the book of revelations in the bible, and from other sources aswell, we found that the world is supposed to end in 2012, with reffernces of fire of a meteor or something?

Does God punish you if you sin, or if you are planning on sinning.
Like if i know i'm going to cheat on a test, or if i already have, will God punish me by making something bad happen to me, or by makeing me get a bad grade or soemting along those lines? (link)

God will not punish you BEFORE you do it, because you always have the choice of not doing it. now after you do it. yes. he may not get to it right away, but he will. but if just dont do it. don't worry about it. hope this helped.
