my hair is poofy whenever i blow dry my hair when i wash it. believe me when i say its poofy.. so i heard that when you scrunch your hair after you wash it ..it will work and be curly but i have tried it a billion times scrunching it and when it air dries or even when i blowdry it with it scrunched.. its poofy and it doesnt look as good as others.. so what is something i could do so when i scrunch it, it wont come out poofy (link)

I am 13 and a girl who's bestfriend in danger. This is how it goes. Well before my friend and I went into this big show thing called "CaSPA". It's when all these different school's from one surburb do one big show together. Then my friend saw this boy and "Fell in love" with him. She became obsessed with him and got a hold of his email address(or so she clams). She's been talking to him on msn and wants to skip school just to meet him. Not only does he leave way far away but how do you know if it really is his email address? It could be some desperate nerd who's 45 and still living with there mother who works at a video store and thinks there a wizard or a cereal killer. I mean it's the internet it's got it's reputation of leading to danger when it's got to do with chat rooms and stuff. I told he could be lying but she said that he told her that he doesn't lie. So I've never really had to buy my girlfriend anything because my mom always took care of all of that. But last year, my gf found out that I don't personally buy her presents and she got all upset. Now, she wants me to go out and buy her her present this year by myself. My mom refuses to help me now. I've really never done this before and you don't have to believe me but it's true. Anyways, this is what I have so far:
100$ Abercrombie card (her fav. store)
50$ Hollister or Forever 21 card (her second fav.--I'm not sure which yet though)
And these earrings her sister helped me pick out. They're pink sapphires with pearl on top they're pretty nice.
But I can see my gf's face when she sees these..."oh gift cards...thanks babe..." She might like the earrings more though...I don't know. I'm already spending 250$ on all of that--I'll put in maybe like 75 more. Does anyone have any ideas? (link)

i don't know what to expect from this but here goes.
everytime i really start liking a woman i always end up being "like a brother", this last time seemed to have taken the life out of me to the point where i start feeling resentfull towards woman and sociaty in general.

i would say its highly likely that she will if she has before. only reason i have for that is because most women that do that do it when the relationships passion dies down a little. if you dont pay her the attention like you did at the beginning of dating. most likely what happens is work or life gets in the way , you get to busy and some ther guy gives her compliments and if shes an attention whore which most women who cheat are she will take the bait. be careful hun cheating is a big red flag. it has a lot to do with integrity and character. be smart and careful with your heart with her.

My main problem is basicaly im just Apsolutly petrified of sex! and anything to do with it really. I'm almost 18 and male, nearly 19 days of now, im in a relasionship of 5 months at the minute and ive lost my virginity, not in this relasionship though.

wow there should be more careful men like yourself. its a good thing you are cautious. and yes i do think you are not ready. maybe ready in the physical aspect of sex as far as hormones and stuff.... but mentally all the weight of the consequences of sex bother you. trust me wait. i really believe in gut feelings. sounds to me you are having that "i cant put a finger on why i feel unsure of this" moment. listen to your instincts. its very important to do that. maybe the first time you did it you felt comfortable because it was gonna be alright. maybe this time a little voice"i dont know if you are religious but maybe its a guardian angel or god warning you????? maybe something bad will happen. i say always stick to your instincts about it. maybe if it was a different girl it would be different. or maybe you subconciously view her as marriage material and dont wanna "dirty her" im not quite sure but its something to think about hun. good luck keep me posted

I'm friends with a married couple. We've been friends for about 3 years. I am single but a christian who is saving herself for marriage. Well recently I had ran into the husband of this married couple and he told me that he struggles with pornography. I was pretty shocked and thought that it should be something he should be telling his wife before me. He also told me what bad taste his wife had and that he wished he were single.
Other people who are friends with him have told me that he is always yelling at his wife and saying she's "a stupid woman" behind her back. I have another female friend who's told me that he's come on to other woman and even asked someone to bed. She refused because she knew he was married. I've also heard he's really wild with some of his friends and frequents the porn shops, gets stoned AND drunk then roars around on his motorbike.
I'm pretty disgusted with him, and really don't want to be his friend anymore. But the problem is what is his wife going to think? What should I tell her when she asks why I don't want to do things with them anymore? When I first met him he said he was a born again christian and that he hated porn and drugs. What a lyer.

Well, I was born in Europe and then I moved here in America. My family and I had to start all over again. My parents had to find new jobs, buy a new home, cars and everything. Now, we're living life like normal people and we have more then most people.
Neather of my parents went to collage because thier families couldn't afford it back thenI love my mom to death but I feel like she's working soo hard just to make us happy. My dad had a great job and he's very happy with it but I feel so sorry for my mom. She cleans for a living.. I know it's sad but I feel so bad. Sometimes I just wish I was more supportive and that I didn't argue with her so much because she works SO hard for us & at times I can be ungrateful for the things I have but I always want more.
Since she didn't go to collage, is there any way she can get a new and better job. She always talks to me about how she just wants me & my brother to do good in school and someday that we will be very succesful. I don't want her to wake up everyday for the next 20 years going to work and clean! I want my mom to be happy just like we are and not have to do what she hates for the rest of her life.
I try to be a great kid and not argue and help out but I'm just a regular 14 year old teenager and it's normal to fight with parents but after that I feel soo bad and sorry for her.
Any advice on this? I get tears in my eyes just thinking about her. I want her to be happy and do something that she loves. I want her to get a better job but that seems to be hard for her. (link)

wow you surely love her i only hope one day my daughter will grow to be as in tune to things as you i also work really hard but i deal with mentally retarded people all day wiping thier butts and being attacked and cleaning drool and throw up. i do it because i love her and want the best for her . with the money i make i buy her clothes and pay her tuition for private kindergarten. it takes most my money im left with a little bit of money when all is said and done but luckily i have a wonderful man in my life that is strong and takes the wheel. i do all this because i love her not for any other reason then the mere fact that when you have a child there is a thing in a woman that comes out of her. its a strong will to survive and keep her children happy at all cost. it is a natural instinct. your mom im sure loves you immensely and all i can say is dont ever question why or how she does it hun. she is a mom and it is what she needs and wants to do. now of course there are days i need a break and feel like giving up... im human but on those days just kinda help her out and let her know how grateful you are for all she does because sometimes i wonder if my child will ever know the extent in which i had to work and how tired i can get to make her have the life i hope she will be comfortable in. i think it would be great if you told her what you said in this letter. it was very heartfelt and real and it genuinely shows the love and gratitude you feel for her. im sure she could get a better job hun. maybe she likes the cleaning job because it works around her schedule. that is a HARD job i have done that. maybe she should look into working at the supermarket they have great benefits and flexible hours. great pay to i worked at safeway grocery 10 years and made 17 a hr. good luck and god bless

A close male friend of mine broke his foot and now he can't work, he has to wait for it to heal and stays at his house all day. I've been really supportive and have offered to drive him to the hospital but he delcined. Well he has been a total jerk to me since he broke it. At first I could understand him being in a bad mood but then it started to upset me. For ex, I phoned him and was going to ask him if he wanted a visit. I started the converstation by telling him that I was bored, and he YELLED at me and said "how could you be bored"! And never invited me over.
Another time I phoned him and politly asked why he hadnt answered any of my emails, and then he replied "I don't sit around all day on my computer"!!
He normally isnt like this, I know it must be a drag to have a broken foot and be out of work, but he doesnt have to take it out on me I'm just trying to be nice.

Does anybody know if it is possible for someone who is not photogenic to be able to take a good picture? I hear all the time from friends, my boyfriend, my family, and random people off the street that I am beautiful. Some even have asked me if I have modeled before. But for some reason, I can not take a picture. It is driving me crazy. I really want to be able to take a good picture. Whenever I am with friends and they try to take a picture..they go, "I just don't understand..how can you be so pretty in real life and look so bad in a picture?" It is driving me crazy. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to overcome this? Thanks so much!

Ok so I have this friend, let's call her Eva. She has liked this guy named Ray for the past four or five years and he seemed to like her too even though they never talk.
About a year and a half ago, me and Ray's friend, Austin hooked up. About a few months after that we set up Eva and Ray and they started going out.
Now Eva had always been crazy about Ray. She knew where he lived and what songs he liked even though she didn't know him. She wasn't stalkerish but she was obsessed.
So I was talking to my bf a few weeks after Ray and Eva and he mentioned that Ray was crazy about Eva and that he talked about her all the time and kept buying presents to give to her later and everything and I told Eva that and she was happy.
K now theyve been going out for a year and they are so OBSESSED with eachother. Like, Eva thinks about him ALLL the time. Even when shes with me and the girls she says she wants him to be there blah blah blah and when we ask her why she isnt with him she says she wants them to have seperate lives too and she doesnt want to neglect us blah blah. But she's like crazy about him. And he's crazy about her. It sounds weird to say this but its sooo unnatural. They call each other everyday for three hours atleast and text eachother all the time. She keeps going overtime on her cellphone from talking to him and he even proposed to her after going out with her for only like eight months!
Is it just me or is this obsession unhealthy? at the begining, we figured it would wear out or theyd get sick of eachother and get over their "honeymoon" and have a normal relationship but like it's continuous. Evas mum even told me that she was getting worried and wanted to take Eva to a psychologist but Eva said that was dumb cuz she wasnt stalking him or anything cuz he kenw and he loves her as much as she loves him.
so are we just overreacting or is it way unnormal? usually id keep out of this but ive always been involbved in evas life and her in mine since we were 4 and shes always told me not to let politness or anything interfere and she wants me to be honest to her and give it to her straight. well it also depends on her age. i mean i am 32 and i am really into my guy and him also into me and we have a hard time being apart i call it love a mutual yearning and respect for one another. it seems that she isnt wanting to neglect her friends but it may be a good thingto tel her if she wants to have the separate lives thing with him she might tone it down a lil when shes with her friends. stress the fact that you are happy for her so she doesnt take it as a jealous thing. explain to her that love is when someone is a "part"of your life and not just your life. he can be a part of her life but remind her that when you fall hard you hit hard at the end and like anything too much of anything is bad for you. its great that ahe found a man that loves her so much but she is still who she is with or without him and all men like a little chase so it wont do any harm to be alone sometimes with the girls. if he loves her while shes there hell love her while shes briefly away. well its great that you worry about her i can see you are a good friend just be careful and talk sweetly to her about it cause most of the time girls view it as jealousy if a friend kinda talks against thier current love situation. but assure her that you are just caring for her. good luck hun
