hailebop answered Wednesday December 28 2005, 12:39 pm: If you count the first day of your period as day 1 of your cycle, your most fertile window is usually around day 14 of your cycle. Of course it varies from woman to woman depending on the length of your cycle, but generally the middle of your cycle is your most fertile period. Not to get too graphic here, but when your discharge gets especially gel- ish like and sticky, it means you're ovulating, which is when you're most fertile. They make monitors to tell you when you're most fertile, if you want to be really dead on about it. I think they're found somewhere near the pregnancy tests in drug stores. Good luck!
