advice
two nights ago i developed a stye and now it's so swollen that i can't open my eye.it on the bottom part of my top eyelid. i've read that the only thing i can do is wait it out and put warm washcloths on it but i don't think it's doing anything. i stayed home today and i missed a final tomorrow if i stay home i will miss two, and three in total. i don't know what to do and i need help fast.
Hey I had the same thing my senior year of high school. I know it's awful.. the only thing you really can do is use a hot wash cloth on it ... or a hot tea bag which works better because it stays hotter longer. Try not to touch it. Touching underneath the eyelid is what can cause styes in the first place. Mine cleared up fully in about 5-6 days. Since a stye is basically a pimple, the only thing that can help is heat and letting it dry out on its own. I know how embarrassing it is, it's awful walking around as if you have conjunctivitis/pink eye. I had to stick it out and go to school, I would go if I were you. It's not worth missing work and stuff, if people ask just say it's nothing serious, just a stye, I'm not diseased.

Okay trust me, I used to be the queen of doing wrong to those who had originally screwed me over and embarrassed me. The outcome is usually regret. I regret a lot of what I said and wish I could get some of the friends back that I let go because of dumb fights. This is kind of different because she openly attacked you, but the real way to piss her off is to just ignore it and do what you can to get her to stop. If you mail her and tell her to stop, then block her and if she continues to harass you, you can call the police and they can do something about it.
Getting back at her does bring you down to her level, but you gotta do what you think is right for you to get over this. If your way of dealing with this situation is getting back at her, then that's on you.. but if your way to deal is to just ignore it and be a way better person then I suggest that option.

A lot of girls lose their virginity and aren't exactly planning on it. People say your first time is supposed to be special, but in truth it really isn't depending on the person. Typically it's painful, so how is that special? Anyway your next time may not be your first but it can be just as special depending on who you're doing it with. If you choose to wait till marriage to have sex again, then that's up to you just make sure you're ready.
If you're worried about getting pregnant, it's unlikely if he wore protection. Don't worry too much about that, you'll go crazy. Just stand by your decision, don't think of your virginity as something you can't get back because if it wasn't special to you, then you don't have to count it as your first time.

It depends on your reasoning for running away, but either way, the long term effects won't be too good. The police will probably find you eventually, if your parents call them thinking you ran away or were kidnapped. Where would you live? Rent costs $$, and I mean a lot of it. You'd have to find a really good job, and even then you may not have enough. School, where are you going to go to school? If you're skipping out before you graduate high school, that's an even worse idea. And as far as college goes, do you think you can raise enough money to go to college? To get financial aid you'd need your parents information. And if you were to apply to college or attend high school somewhere else, the cops would find out where you were.

Uh you're 15. I'm 18 and when I was 15 I thought it would be the greatest thing to have a baby with my boyfriend. Obviously, I was delusional and eventually realized I was being dumb. Do you know how badly a baby would mess up your life? That would mean:
-No college
-You'd probably lose your man; young dads don't typically stick around very long
-You'd probably have to drop out of high school
-No friends; how many will stick around at age 15 to help you take care of your baby?
-No decent job, especially at your age. 15 is the age companies, etc start hiring. No way would they hire a pregnant 15 yr old girl
-Some girls don't get full parental support, a lot of your family would probably be disappointed
You have your entire life to settle down and have babies, why are you trying at age 15???

Sweetie, don't even spend your time worried about this, you're way better than that. Any guy who is willing to ADMIT that he's using you, is OBVIOUSLY not a good guy and has no real feelings for you. Move on and find someone better; someone who cares for you and doesn't just use you. Once you do move on, find someone else, and don't act interested anymore; he'll chase you. Guys always want the thing they can't have. If he realizes you're no longer after him and aren't interested, he's going to chase you TRUST me. Just don't let him back into your life, don't even give him the time of day. I know it's hard letting go of someone you've been intimate with for 2 years but you just need to realize it's the best thing for you in the long run and your life will seem a lot less complicated.
I didnt know them well personally.. but occasionally I'd check their facebooks when i was bored.. like Im sure most people do on facebook anyways. and there were some pictures of them like drinking alcohol and stuff.. also with some other people and other people smoking and stuff.. everyone underage. i told the entire guidance department using a fake email.. and im not sure whether to feel like i did a bad or good thing? cause in 1 way its like i prevented them from really ruining themselves like some teens who never had someone intervene, even their parents. but on the other hand it was snooping.. stalkerish to do.. and now they have to go through stress with the administration now about it. they are all really popular kids at my school. but at the same time its not like i reported them to police.. i definitely wouldn't do that.. i think the school would handle that sort of thing better. i am also worried on being found out. i know if they find out im fcked for life socially. and i'd lose a lot of respect and people's confidence maybe. or they'll just think im a creepy stalker. but people have albums on facebook for people to see them so its not really an invasion of privacy i think. i just do not know what to think. i just feel pretty guilty right now.. ughh whas this a mistake or the right thing to do?

In all honesty, it wasn't your business to begin with. If those kids are drinking and smoking, what effect does it have on you? Whatever the school says, they're going to keep on doing it. You can't prevent someone from doing something by simply telling them not to.
Hopefully they don't I.P trace the e-mail to figure out who it was who sent the e-mail, because they'd be able to trace it back to your house. I doubt they'd go that far, but I doubt those kids will even get in trouble because it is an out of school matter, as long as they're not doing drugs and drinking on campus then there's really nothing the school can do about it. If you didn't send pictures along with that e-mail then they really don't have proof anyway; they may believe the e-mail to be from some random student hoping to get the kids they don't like in trouble.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had a boyfriend of about 2 years, and I dumped him. After we broke up I got a new boyfriend and he was upset over it and wanted to know how I could move on so fast. I think the best thing for you to do is to not respond. I got stuck responding back and it came back to bite me in the ass. He constantly texts me and wants to call me and says he still loves me, it's creepy. Trust me, you're better off not doing anything. Just be happy with the guy you're with, and realize you dumped your ex for a reason.
Ok, so Im 19/f on the pill. But in the past month Ive missed a few just cause I get so distracted here at school (im in college). Me and my boyfriend have sex regularly and we dont use condoms ( I dont need the condom lecture, please). A couple weeks ago, we had sex and he thinks he came in me just a little. So that makes me nervous because I did miss a couple pills. Now, Ive been feeling kind of nauseous for the past week. And I feel really like grose and bloated, Ive also been moody. (Plus Im constipated, I know.... its grose) I know these are all symptoms of early pregnancy, but its not like Im making myself feel that way. I just happened to look up early symptoms for a paper I was writing and freaked out when I realized that all of them were applying to me. Do you think Im pregnant? Or what are the chances? My next period is a week and a half away. Any opinions would be helpful, thanks.
If anything is going to soothe your mind, it's a pregnancy test. Whether he cums in you or not, it doesn't matter. There's always pre-cum and there's sperm in pre-cum, so either way you could be pregnant without him "fully" cumming in you. I wouldn't be too worried about it, you could just be stressed out. Wait and see if you get your period or not. If you don't, buy a test. If anything throwing up would be a clearer sign than just being nauseous. Though you could just be getting your period, those all tend to be signs of that as well.
Just try to ease your mind and don't think about it. You'll stress yourself out.

You can have your parents rent a club, I'm pretty sure you can do that, they just won't serve any alcohol. Or you could reserve a hall. Definitely get a DJ. 50 people is good, but you could also have your friends bring a friend too. You could even invite people you know, they don't HAVE to be friends. You can also have a theme for your party like black & white, and you could deck out the hall really nice. Definitely glittery stuff, it all just depends on what you like and you can build it up from there.

I am a 22 year old female with a 25 year old boyfriend. I have a great boyfriend, who I know would never do anything wrong or do anything to hurt me, but I always find myself questioning what he's doing, who he is talking to, where he is going, etc. I torture him relentlessly every day, even though I know it's wrong. I used to do the exact same thing with my ex boyfriends. I'd constantly question them about who they talked to and question everything in my head like, "I wonder how he talks to girls, I wonder if he talks to girls in a flirty way." I'd wonder where they were and what they were doing, if they looked at other girls and would constantly question them about whether or not they thought other girls were hot. The truth is, asking questions like these only makes them hate you in the end and makes it less likely that they want to be with you or even around you. You just have to know that the way you feel about him, is the same way he feels about you. I doubt he wants to be with any other girls, so what if he has a friend who is a girl? I know, it sucks, trust me. Especially if that girl is pretty, you just have to be confident with yourself and until he does something shady, you have nothing to worry about. The only REAL way I can think of to tell if a guy is cheating is if he no longer "wants" you or wants to do "it" with you. If you used to do it all of the time, and now you only do it once in a while or randomly out of nowhere. Guys who do this tend to think "Oh, crap. I wonder if she'll start to notice" and then offer to have sex.

I'm engaged and thinking of getting married next summer. Both of us are 20 years old, will be in our third year of college. Both of our school costs are paid for except books, and we both make just minimum wage. Can we afford to get married now? Keep in mind our rent would be around $500, and min. wage here is $7.50; don't know what other costs to include that's why I'm asking?
I think if anything, instead of getting married and only having a little bit of money left over afterward, if it doesn't take all of your money, to wait until after school that way you can build up your money and you won't have to suffer after the wedding is over. I mean I don't see a rush, especially if you're in school. It's better to just stay engaged for now, and if you decided to change your last name, wouldn't you have to change a lot of things at the school you attend? I'm not sure, but I think you'd have to.

For guys, if they WANT to be with you, they'll be with you. They won't tell you they need more time unless they're into both their girlfriend and you, but it seems like he probably won't leave her and that's a typical guy thing. Some of the time they look to other girls for sex, hook-ups, etc if they're not getting it from their girlfriends. The second they start getting it from their girlfriends they stop looking else where.
If I were you, don't chase him. Let him come to you if you really want this guy. Guys want things they feel as though they can't have, if you play hard to get he'll be more interested. They hate clingy.

First off, if you're still doing ANYTHING with him, think otherwise. Having 23 partners could make him very much at risk for an STD, and therefore could give it to you. Look out for yourself, and if he cheats on you, you can do way better considering you're trying to find him some help. I know what it's like to regret being with someone, and I don't want you to regret being with him because he gave you some type of STD. Have him get tested ASAP because it's the only way you'll know what he has.
Peeing blood that often is most certainly NOT normal. He received nothing from you if the first guy you were with was a virgin, so don't let him or his parents blame you. Get tested and please stay safe. Ask your mom to take you to a gynecologist and definitely get some blood work done.

Okay honestly, he's probably just as scared. Frenching will come naturally, trust me I was just as scared and wondered how to do it. Thing is, frenching can be kind of gross, but fun once you know how to do it. Don't be nervous. You'll learn after doing it for the first time, and if he really likes you, he won't think it's disgusting. It's simple. You'll do find don't worry too much about it.

Okay.. pretty much the first time you shave down there is going to be awful .. you're gunna get those bumps, but TRUST me don't try to pop them or whatever or shave again until they go away. The skin down there isn't actually skin, it's tissue. Meaning it's way more sensitive than actual skin. Just wait for the irritation to go away, try not to scratch but if you do, do it over clothing not on the itch itself. Next time you shave down there, use a new blade, shaving cream for the top (not inside), and try not to scratch. Also, shave downward towards your feet, not upwards. Shaving up will only make it more irritated, trust me.
