You need to set it equal. 5/2 equals x/6. Then you need to cross multiply, so do 5 times 6 equals 2 times x. That would give you 30 = 2x. Divide both sides by two, and you get x = 15. You could buy 15 pencils.

PETA is a good organization to join if you're concerned about this stuff. They're very extreme and go to extreme methods to make their point, but they believe in what you do. I know how you feel, the other night I was eating chicken and it suddenly hit me how nauseating it really was. But it's too good to give up :).
If it helps, I keep kosher, which is similar to the Islamic method. Kosher meat has to be prepared a certain way, to make sure the animal feels no pain at all. If there's any way the animal could have felt pain, it's not kosher. A team of experts literally examins each animal to make sure it's not sick, abnormal, or anything that could physically cause it pain.
Recently i visited my cuzins house and they had bought dance dance revolution for the playstation 3 i think it was. I really love that game and its great excersise! I was just wondering is it available on dvd like for tv or something that isnt a game system. If so, where would i be able to purchase this in Manhattan?

'Stone' usually means 14 pounds, so if you mean 7x14 = 98 pounds, yes, you are paranoid. You're actually underweight-- to be considered underweight, you need a BMI of under 18.5. Your BMI is 17.4. Lots of teenage girls feel fat, but trust me, you aren't :).

I only have the basic computer programs. Is there any way I can resave a jpeg/jpg picture in MS Paint (I altered the original image which was a jpeg/jpg pic) and not get additional blurriness? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Or, you could download Paint.NET, it's free online and totally safe. When you save things as .jpg on there, it comes out much clearer than regular MS paint.

For my 14th birthday party i have no idea what to do. its on january 19th.. that will be the day of the party as well since its a saturday. i cant invite too many people either cause im sure my parents would say no and all the food costs and keeping everyone entertained will be hard. ok so i wanna invite like 6-7 girls.

Don't make people pay for YOUR party, that's just rude. It's also not a party then, it's just hanging out at the movies and your mom is carpooling.
For invitations, you could use black construction paper and a silver sharpie and make it in the shape of a movie clapboard, or a roll of film.
At your house, you could play games like truth or dare, make smores, ice cream sundaes, put on iTunes and make up a dance, etc etc. Usually things just flow naturally.
Sometimes I'll wear a tiara to school if it's my birthday, but it feels different to wear it to a dance. If it's a dance for the whole grade/school, something just feels conceited about wearing a crown to it, KWIM? If I saw somebody with it I'd probably just roll my eyes in annoyance.
Okay 14/f. Lol this is a really weird question but i live in cali, and we are having a pool party in a month and i have tiny boobs and m wearing a bikkine and i just dont want everyone to relise that i have tiny boobs. is their anything besides surgery that will give me bigger boobs?

No, there's nothing besides plastic surgery that will actually make them bigger, but you could always buy a bathing suit that has a built in push-up bra or something. I know Victoria's Secret has them, you could try there.
I'm 13/f, turning 14 in June. I've never really baby sat before, like as an actual job. But I'm good with kids, and I think the safety of a child is first priority, I love kids so I'd never want anything to happen to a child. Well, me and my friend decided that tomorrow we were going to put flyers around her neighborhood (full of little kids). But could anyone give me any advice? How do you actually get the job? Do you need to write up a little resume, or talk to the person before you babysit? And how much should I ask for? I really want to get a new iPod touch and some other things by the end of the summer hopefully if I start now. Any other tips for emergencies? What's a best way to get the child to calm down? What if I don't know what to do in a situation, do I call the parent or my own mom? I just want some pointers so that I can do the best job possible.
Aside from putting up flyers, another great way to get jobs is word of mouth. Have your mom mention to people that you babysit-- I got two jobs just because my mom mentioned it in passing. Also, if you have any younger siblings, see if you can babysit for their friends.
I've never heard of anybody writing up a resume-- normally they just ask you how old you are, if you've ever babysat before, how often you'll be free to babysit, etc. I've never had anybody really go into details.
I ask for $8-10 an hour, when I babysit for two kids. I suppose if I was only watching one kid, I'd ask for $6 or $7. Honestly though, with the family I babysit for, I didn't even give them a price. They just gave me money the first time I babysat, and I had no complaints so it's just been continuing at that charge.
Depending on how old the child is, it can be hard to get them to calm down. You really just need to suggest something else to do, but something calm and something you know they'll like. For example, I babysit for an eight year old boy (Alex) and whenever he gets riled up, I suggest that we go into his room and watch TV or play Nintendo or something. I dont usually need to be strict, but I hate when I do. Sometimes you just need to be firm; the parents understand.
It depends on the situation for whether you should call the parent or your mom. You really just need to use your best judgement. If it's something important that only the parents can answer, and you think it's something the parents would like to know about, call them. But if it's just a question on how to do something, don't bother them, call your own mom. The parents don't want to be bothered with their babysitter interrupting their night over whether their child is REALLY allowed to have ice cream for dessert or if he's making it up. But I'm sure they'd like to know if you, for example, can't find where his medicine is that he needs to take.
Good luck! The first time you babysit, you'll probably be nervous and it may be kind of awkward, not exactly knowing what to do. But it gets so much easier very quickly.

Gracie Mae is cute, but what about using Gracie as a nickname for Grace? Gracie is an adorable nickname, but I'm iffy about it as a full name. Lets say she wants to be a lawyer; She will probably want something more substantial. A businesswoman named Grace sounds much more sophisticated and professional than a businesswoman named Gracie.
Mae is a nice middle name.
my freshman year i cam across this boy named tommy and i liked ever since junior year we started talking and in the summer he asked me to be his girlfriend so we went out i liked him alot he was my real first boyfriend and i was crazy fro him see i like my rocker guys with long hair and piercings ans he has that :) we even went to family values together and had a good time....school started and it was fine we didnt see each other at all only in themorning when i would get off the buss but only for 5 minutes and then i would just talk to him on the phone or myspace...so on the third day of school he broke up with me on myspace and i was devistated!!!! i couldnt belive it i mean the day before it was all fine!!! so then we broke up and i was sad i dated guys after him but for a very short time i cant get my mind off of him.....so im dating my current boyfriend nick and i liked him but now im loosing my feelings for him but he knows my tommy they live next to each other...and when ever me and nick are together and i see tommy i get pissed and puch nick away i still love tommy and by the way tommy has a girlfriend and apparently he is in love with her one time on myspace he wrote a song and he sent it to me to see if it sounded good and if not if i could fix it up and i did and it hurt he doesnt know i am still in love with him so when ever i see him i get this stmach ache and i just wsh i was with him......what should i do? i want him really bad!!! i need to get him back......

well, my birthday is coming up and so i'm having like a little dinner/fun time at a hotel kind of thing. but, since it's not a humongous party, more like a group of maybe 20 people, i decided to have all of these really fun and sexy games. I know everyone is going to love them and it's going to be amazing. Last night I stayed up all night making them and i was having so much fun. But, now, in the morning, I kind of feel stupid. I don' know why. I just think it's stupid of me to have them. But at night, I get super excited about it again. I don't know why this happends?? Does anyone know??
I know exactly what you're talking about, I've had that feeling before. Fun/sexy games are risky, because people are either going to love them, or think they're stupid. When it's nighttime, you can imagine everybody having a great time and the whole thing going fabulously, but when it's during the day, it's more realistic. It's kind of like how when you have a huge test coming up. It's not that nervewracking as you're falling asleep, but during class, for days before the test, the panic starts to creep up.
Not sure if any of that made sense, but it's a normal feeling.
