Our homecoming is coming up and i have my eyes on someone that i want to ask me. but one of my best guy friends likes me and keeps hinting that he is going to ask me, but i don't want to go with him cause i see us as just friends. What should i do?

Although this may be kind of mean, if you really want to go with this guy, then ask him FIRST, and if he says no, then you should go with your guy friend. But JUST as friends! Good luck!

i feel like i have come upon a dead end in my life. a boy that i like doesn't seem to feel the same for me and i don't think that i could work up the courage to tell him that i like him...what should i do aobut it?

Guys are sooo overrated. If that boy doesn't like you, then he doesn't like you for a reason. Everything happens for a reason, just don't give up hope!!

okay well lately ive really had the urge to have a baby. im 16 and ive been watching kids and playing with my niece ( 2 1/2) and it really makes me want to have one. i dont want one for the sex or anything i just want it for the whole thing pregancy, birth baby everything and going around kids makes me want one more and more. what should i do? i dont live it a kind of neighbor hood where that is really acepted and my parents would kill me if i had a child but i want one so bad like you have no idea what do i do? its not like i can even control these urges they are there



its not like i want to i do but its like this urge that wont go away its all i cant think about. and watching my niece doesnt help it makes me want 1 of my own more.


i know i am emotional stable and if i did get pregnant my family would help me support this child but i know its not how i was raised and there arent alot of teen pregnancies in my more upscale neighborhood but i feel like i cant live without having a child

You are sooo young, I doubt you are ready for a child! But if you ABSOLUTELY want this, you better be prepared for the consequences:
You will most likely drop out of school.
You will lose respect from people you care about.
You will always be broke.
The father of the baby might run once he knows you're pregnant, he might not be ready for that kind of commitment.
The LONGGG 9 months labor.

First, you need to help yourself. You may need anger managment, you may not. But tell her that you're trying to get better and that you'll do ANYTHING to get back with her. You have to make sure you will NEVER do it again. You have to show her that you have changed and that you really want her back. If you play the guitar, write her a song, etc. Good luck!

Okay well, this is just curiousity but.. condoms are only like 95-97% effective if they don't leak and are used properly.. but if they dont leak or anything like that how would you get pregnant if all the cum stays inside of the condom. like how is that other 3 or 5 percent a possibility

My 2 bests friends went out in 6th grade and 7th grade literally about 21 times. Thats really close to the real number. honestly. They havent gone out this year but I can still tell that my friend (the boy) still likes her and he denies it. But then at dances my other friend almost leads him on even though she has a boyfriend. For some reason it ticks me off because I know my guy friend still likess her even though he denies it but she leads him on and pins him against walls in a playful way but has a boyfriend. I dont know what i should do. helppp!

Talk to your girl friend, and explain to her that it is NOT okay to mess with people's emotions like that. Tell her that she is being rude and ignorant. If she gets mad at you, it's her own fault for being dumb. Good luck!

Hi, I live with my grandparents. My grandmaw doesnt want me to wear thongs or use tampons. I was in the shower last weekend, and I had two thongs in the dryer with my clothes. My grandmaw took my clothes out and saw them. I think she threw them away. So let me get to my question; what can i do about her, because she is so old fashion, how can i have thongs and use tampons with out her knowing about this and doing something stupid.

Well, take her out to lunch or something, and explain to her that thongs are JUST underwear. So basically she's not letting you wear underwear? Hmmm... As for the tampon thing, it is just GROSS to use pads. Tell her it's YOUR life (not in a disrespectful way, though) and you should be able to choose your underwear, etc. Good luck!

Alrighty then, my SS/ELA teacher is completley crazy. He makes random body language gestures, his accent cycles from British to Austrailian to Gay to German to Russian. He's probably the most unintentionally funny people I've ever met, and I can't help but laugh at his antics.

However, he fails people for laughing (he calls it disrespecting) anyone in his class (including him) 3 times. So, any way that I can keep from laughing?

Think of something very sad, and think of how he might feel, how would you feel if people laughed at you all day long? But the sad thing always works for me.

I have been in this situation. If you like him, then go for it! But if not, explain that you want to remain friends, but you will always leave the situation open to talk about. I ended up going out with him, and I still am! I had another best friend that I went out with, and we broke up. But we're still best friends! So I hope it turns out okay.

You are slightly overweight. If you are happy with your weight, then you don't need to lose weight! You are only about 10 pounds overweight, so I don't think it could case any severe health problems. Just eat healthy, and drink WATER WATER WATER! I have an excersize routine that I do every night: I put on a CD, and I stretch for the first song, then I do sit-ups for the second, jumping jacks for the third, wall-sits for the fourth, etc. I stretch again for the last song. It goes by really quickly, too!!

I met a guy over the summer and he's really nice. Unfortunatly i never met him face to face until school started and i began to see him around the school. I was so shocked when i saw him but i found out that he was suicidal and gets depressed really easily so i was nice to him. Apparently hes getting the wrong idea about me and he likes me! I try to be nice but when he says stuff like 'i love u' i get scared and say 'i love u 2!' back.

He thinks i like him but i dont! He's soo not my type and wears girls pants!

I'm guessing this kid is emo. If he is suicidal then you most definitely should NOT be mean to him. If you REALLY don't like him, explain that you want to get to know him better, but for now you want to remain friends. Good luck!!

There really is no yes or no answer to that, because we don't know if you like him. But if you do, don't tell yourself that you don't. Because you can't change your feelings for someone just because you want to. It sounds like you like him, though. Good luck!

I think I am heading 2 anorexia. I don't eat normal at school. I skip meals from 8 hours a day and I feel real week. And when I think about eating I get sick to my stomiac. I am only 13 but I am really upsessed with my weight. I only eat about 3-4 things a day. I need help. Thanks and No smartasses Please.

Well I know a LOT about anorexia, and it sounds like you may be borderline anorexic. Which simply means that you have a mild case of anorexia, but that does not mean that it is not serious. You should talk to a friend, coach, parent, teacher, or counselor about this. Easier said than done, right? I learn about sex through sex education websites, such as sites for teenagers, and I'm consintly sharing such information with friends so that they will not do something wrong when they get infected or something. I taught everyone how to put on condoms, take them off correctly, and although my friend recieved the information gratefully, she thinks that I would only know this because I watch porn. Naturally, there are pictures but they are of infections and such. What do I do to convince them that I DO NOT watch porn (even though it is a healthy thing, I still don't), and that I don't have such access to it?

Let your friends know that you have read up on the subject, and know a lot about it. That you do not watch porn. If they are real friends they should understand!

What is the difference between being Atheist and Agnostic?

Agnostic - One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God,
or one who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

Atheist - One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.
