Our homecoming is coming up and i have my eyes on someone that i want to ask me. but one of my best guy friends likes me and keeps hinting that he is going to ask me, but i don't want to go with him cause i see us as just friends. What should i do?

Although this may be kind of mean, if you really want to go with this guy, then ask him FIRST, and if he says no, then you should go with your guy friend. But JUST as friends! Good luck!

tell your guy friend that you'd really like to keep it strictly friends. then you should make the first move on the guy you want; before he's taken!

Ask the other guy asap so that way when your guy friend asks you, you can just be like "I've already got a date!" And if he says no, then just be like "Sure, if I dont get another guy of course we can go as friends!" if you wouldnt mind going as friends or "No, I dont want to go with any friends." Then maybe suggest another girl you think he should ask.

if your guy friend brings it up, try to make him ask someone else... " what about that beckie girl that sits behind you in science? i dont think she has a date yet.." and for the other guy...flirt like crazy. but word of advice, if your friend asks you, go with him as friends. i turned down this one guy and didnt get asked out by the guy i wanted...i didnt get to go at all. <3
