i wouldn't think you scared him off at all. maybe he's thinkin the same thing as you; that he loves you, and he just realized it. he might just need time to think about it. this time period could be anywhere for a day to a month, who knows? just give it a bit and see how it goes. good luck.

My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. Age is nothin but a number. Hey! OK, I'm really shy. Its not that I enjoy being all by myself because I totally hate it... I love to be with people... but it’s hard for me to just walk up to someone because last year in classes we got to sit around and talk for the end of each period. in order to be outgoing and less shy, you have to really like yourself, and believe in yourself. you have to tell yourself things like "I can do this." "I'm good at conversing." "I look good today, people are going to WANT to talk to me." and so on and so forth. you HAVE to believe in yourself. you have to be confident. you have to take your chances also, because if you don't, then you won't ever make any friends. so just work on your self-confidence. that should improve your little bit of shyness by a great deal.

If you're best friends, then even the miles between you two will ever let you grow apart. you may see less and less of each other, but that's not what matters. what matters is that when you two are together, you enjoy to the best of your ability and you make memories.

condoms are only 80% effective. there's still the 20% you will get pregnant. if you do use just a condom and have prolonged sex, make sure you have a few condoms on hand (not just one) so you can change it every now and then. it's safer.
