Yeah basicly it's deep inside of you, its almost a wall, when you have sex the penis breaks it, and it is usualy what people use to concider themselves virgins or not. I've heard its painful ,and that it isn't so it depends on the person.

Theres a thing called the hymen and its like a layer of skin and sometimes NOT always will it "pop" or break or whatever you want to say, and when it does it sometimes bleed... So thats where the term popping your cherry comes from.
