I'm 14.
To make a really long story shorter, my bff...Jane. Has an abusive boyfriend, also, she's only 13, which makes it even more weird. She's going out with a 15 year old.
And she says I'm the only one she told.
She says he doesn't like beat her up, he just hits her a lot..
I never noticed, but recently she's been wearing long sleeves. Because she's actually BRUISED.

But, Jane says she really has it under control, and doesn't want to break up with him because she apparently realllly likes him. And she says he likes her, but..

I said if I were her I would break up with him.
Then she said something like that I didn't know what love was, so I couldn't say that.
I've never really been in this kind of situation before.
Do I tell an adult?
If you were me..what would you...do?
ugh, I'm kind of confused.
And I want to help my friend.

I'm really sorry. I think you should tell an adult. It's not worth your friend being hit.You may not no what lovee is like, but you do see that your friend needs help!! She might be mad at you when you do it, but no guy is worth Jane's suffering. Tell an adult. I MEAN IT!!!!!

ok so, i want to get my haircut but i'm not sure if it will look good. i have dirtyblonde hair and its very thick and wavy so i normally straiten it. since its really thick, i want to get it thinned, but not too thin just thinned out so its not as thick. i have an ovalish shaped head, and my nose is kinda big, well its not very big, but its not small so i want to cut my hair in a way that will make my nose seem less big in some way lol. someone mentioned that side bangs will help draw the attention away from my nose. is that true? what kind of style should i cut my hair that will look good? thanks for the help =]

your rite. side bangs help draw attention away fron your nose. go with a shoulder lenth cut, with a few layers, and side bangs. see hoe it works out! if it doesnt,hide in a hat till it grows out! jk jk. Hope it works!

heyy ok i want to re-do my bedroom. but i need help with some ideas. ok i am basically a surfer/skater kid-of girl. my favorite colors are pink, green, ORANGE, and purple. i love the design of camoflauge or army. i would love maybe a design like that but i have looked at pbteen.com and wakeupfrankie.com but like i dont want something that is so bright like not as in like bright colors because i love orange. but i want one thats a little more dull or lighter in the color girn with maybe a ribbon trim?? i dont know. or maybe an idea for a different kind. have any suggestions?? my room is really plain and i hate it. i have a day-bed which looks like a couch so im limited as of now. i may get a new bed but im not sure. thanks :)

I'm just like you! And i loveeeeee camo. I recently re-did my room. i wouldnt recomend orange 4 walls, tho. Because, it's vey bright, and you might get tired of it(experienced it)Do a few decorations in camo. I suggest going 2 Lowes,Target,and Pier 1 foe great stuff. Hope your room turns out great!

I just dyed my hair a dark red/burgundy color and I really like it. How can I make it last as long as possible before having to color it again? Any tips or advice much appreciated!!

The thing is try not 2 wash out your hair as often. (as gross as that sounds) the more you wash it, it'll be gone sooner. You can also buy the special shampoos. For the best kind, i dont no, but you can search the web. hope it lasts!

Ok not to be rude or anythingg but i only come to advicenators when im REALLY desperate/ upseet/sad. Ok heres the whooole story. So i started going out with this kid mike in december that i REALLY liked and we were so good for each other, for a while it was going really greatt then him and i started fighting alot and by alot i mean everyday. It got so bad to the point where he would scream at me and call me and cunt and a slut. This stuff went on forever and even tho it isnt physical abuse its emotionall abuse and i would cry every night about how hurt i was. finally we broke up and i was crushed, becuase he is the one person i havve realy loved in my life. and now i am trying to find someone else but i cant stop thinking about him i mean love overpowers all and i want to get over him so much but all my guys friends right now are taken so its so hard. Also my x bf killed himself and it hurt so much and now mike hurt me too it seems like all guys hurt. love kills

It seems tlike that was a long time ago. think about all the time u spent fighting with mike. do u really whant 2 get bac 2gether, if your just gonna keep fighting? I cant belive that your only 13. Personally i dont think your ready for that kind of commitment. Tell him you like him, but dont love him yet. Tell him youre just not ready for that kind of commentment like lovee. If he really loves u, he'll understand. i promise he will if he loves u.hope it all works put for u!

oh. that sux! i've had troubles like that too. This guy asked me out, but I said yes cuz i didn't want to hurt his feelings. Ok...I have this issue...I am SOOOO bored... You know if someone is your friend if they treat you well. Are they bossy? Do they ignore you when other friends are around? That is how you know. If they treat you like that you know that you no that they're not a true friend. No questions asked.
