i've been friends with this guy for like... forever right? ok well, i'm really starting to like him and i don't know what to do about it. we're the kinda friends that hug every day, and he'll tell me i'm pretty and stuff, but still. i don't know if i should try ignoring my feelings or if i should try talking to him about it. a lot of my friends say i should ask him to sadies whenever that is. i think it's soon. so can somebody tell me what to do? i'd really appriciate the help.
You should definitly ask him out. Sadies is al about the girl asking the guy. Even if your not sure if he likes you that way, you could always say that you are going just as friends.

Not sure about cursors or music, but for backrounds, go to column settings, and click on the link that says something about free backrounds. Once you find the one you like, copy the code in it, and paste it where it says backround url. My friend has music on hers, u can ask her about that one, her column name is dorky1317. Hope i helped!
Okay. so theres this guy that i like(d) whos a year older than me. i dont really know him but my friends have introduced me to him before and ive just seen him around school and hes really cute n funny.
well i kinda got the feeling that he might have liked me bc if i would see him walking down the hall he'd always look over at me or kinda try and find me i think-- but never came up and talked to me. well i told one of my friends i liked him so they told him and i didnt think it would go farther than that but he said he liked me too ((or he thought i was pretty)) and my friend asked if he would ever go out with me and he said he would think about it...well a couple of weeks later after a lot of aggony and i still never really did talk to him he said he wouldnt ask me out bc he didnt know me well enough [and he told my friend that] soo yeah then another one of my friends started to talk to him about a month later and he said he still liked me but he wasnt going to ask me out bc I WOULDNT GO UP AND TALK TO HIM. yeah i know i kinda started the whole thing but arent guys kinda suppose to come up and talk to the girl or is that just me?? :\ im really confused and i feel kinda stupid...please help

If she's like that, she's obvously not a very good friend. Friends help you get up the courage to talk to him, not try and take him for yourself. I know this will make you annoyed, but you need to talk to leah, and ask her what shes doing. She might be trying to get him to be her friend so she can ask him if he'd go out with you, but she could just be a backstabber.
OKay my 2 friends and i are in a fight because it all began when they started taking drugs, smoking, and drinking! i felt uncomfortable so i left them alone and i kind of ignore them too! so anyway today my other friend tells me to come sit at the same table as them i did! well they didn't give me the time of day! last i heard one of them is smoking weed afterschool and it all started with these girls they have been hanging out with! What should i do? My other friend is determined to get us to be friends again! I 've already tried talking to the 2 of them but they won't listen! What should I do? I rate!!
They need help. You may think it's nothing right now, but we are talking life and death. Seriously. Maybe you should talk to a counselor or sumthin, because really bad things could happen, and you could have to deal with the guilt. Sorry if this makes you feel bad, but i gotta tell you the truth. Drinking is one of the worst things you mentioned. I dont know if you guys are old enough to drive, but if one of your so-called friends got in a car and was drunk, she could get herself and innocent bystanders killed. Smoking is really dangerous for your body, sorry if i sound like a teacher or sumthin, but you need to know, and people can get sick from secondhand smoke. Drugs are just as bad, and your friend could get arrested! If you dont think you can talk to somebody who could get them to stop, you need to just make other friends, because those people can only bring you down in life. I hope i helped!
I put a question like this on here a few days ago, but I'll go over whats going on again.
My friend and I both liked a guy, then I backed off so she could have him, then she didn't want a bf. So I stepped up and now I like him and he likes me and outa no where she says she likes him again, so I told her I liked him too and now shes all wierd about it. I told her I didn't want a bf though, and now me and Andy (the guy) have been hanging out alot and I really like him, and when I come home from our dates I hear "Amanda really likes Andy, what are you doing?" and stupid stuff like that. What the hell am I supposed to do? I mean I can't control my feelings, and she had her chance with him. And I'm not going to date him right now anyways b/c I want to get to know him...so people are making it into a lot bigger deal than it is...what do I do?
You are perfectly right in everything you are doing. Don't rush into things with Andy, because it could ruin your friendship with Amanda. Talk to Amanda about it and be like you know im just friends with andy, right, because i wouldn't steal a guy you liked away from you. since she seems to change her mind alot, she'll probably never go out with him, or stay with him long, and by then, you'll have a good relationship with him. Or,you could tell her "you said you didn't want a boyfriend, but i did, i'm sorry if i hurt your feelings". It sounds like your relationship with Amanda is more important that the one you share with Andy, and you shouldn't be quick to dump a friend like her.
Ok, so i was thinking about babysitting the kids nextdor, but i've geard thast little kids are hard to take care of. is that true? i need tha cash, and cant afford anything for my friends for the holidays. I'm not really patient, but i have 2 younger siblings, but i get sick of them really easy. my brother is 8, and my sister is 2. the kids nextdoor are 7 and 9, if that helps.
I've babysat before, don't worry, the baby only got a little squashed, lol, jk, anyway, so it's not too hard, especially if you are at least 4 years older than the kids. The age difference is the key. If you're too old, then you wont wanna do what they do, but if your too young, they wont respect you, or listen to you. You also need to put safety above them liking you, because if they get hurt, you wont get asked back. I hope I helped!
I finally came up with an idea on a gift for my boyfriend on Christmas. I was going to get him a custom sweatshirt that had the following on it: Proud Member of JT1 and on the back it say Your Friendly Movie Viewer: TIM. JT1 is a group of my boyfriend and all of his friends that goes to the movies EVERY Friday. My only delema is I don't know where I can go to get it custom made. I went to this site: http://www.customink.com and the site kept shutting down and messing up my computer. I do not want to use the iron on letters because knowing me, I'll mess it up. Does anyone know of any companies that can make one custom sweatshirt without you having to buy in bulk? Thank you so much if you can help!
There may be a place at your mall, but i dont know. If you want to try, you could get iron on paper and make it on your computer and print it out on the paper. It might get a little confusing, but you would have it exactly the way you wanted it. Hope i helped.
I'm 14 and a female. ok theres this guy that i really like and he wrote me a note and asked me if we could date, and i said i had to get to know him better. so we "talked" for three weeks and then i hear he didnt like me anymore and it was true. So i wrote him a note saying that we should just be friends, but thats not really how i felt, what do i do?
Well, you have two choices, and they both involve confrontment, which, btw, means talking to him. You either tell him, or write him a note saying you still like him, or asking him if you wanna go get pizza, or go to a movie with him, or you just tell him that you want to be more than friends. If not, then maybe you should move on. If you feel like its not worth it to maybe embarress yourself to see if he still likes you, then he's probably not right for you. Or, you have one more option, known as Code X. You get your friend's friend, who is friends with his friend to ask him if he likes you. If he does, make your move, and if he doesn't, I'm sorry, but u'll either have to wait it out, or find somebody else.

DO- get those cute kinda fuzzy boots that are just coming in
DONT- buy a poncho ( you know, those triangle net things) because they've been in for a while, and are starting to go out of style. Especially when adults think they're cute. Besides, if u jump on the bandwagon when everyone's already on it, u'll be seen as a follower.
DO- be color coordinated. it doesn't make you shallow. if you are wearing blue alot, dont wear green shoes or sumthin. Shoes should always go with your outfit.
DONT- buy really baggy shirts that are a few sizes too large.

For food, any kinda junk food works, any kind of anything with sugar. For music, rock and punk and that kinda stuff is "in" at the moment, so dont play any of that pop, Britney Spears music, or you'll party will die faster than you will of embarassment.

well every year i have a choice if i want to go to tennessee for christmas to visit my family. its my one chance to go 2 states away.... to get away from all my problems and to really just think. but i would be gone for 2 weeks, including christmas and new years. the problem is.... i dont want to leave my boyfriend. i love him and i have never spent new years eve with a guy and i want to spend it with him. i want to start out the new year with him. hes having a new years eve party too...and his family is having a christmas eve party and everyone brings their gfs and bfs and he wants me to go, but i cant if im in tennessee. i cant choose to go or stay. he is telling me to go so i can think and have time to myself and get away from all my problems for a while. but i would miss him SOOOO much and i dont know if i should go or stay.... what should i do?
I think you should stay. It gives you time to be with your boyfriend, and if your family's in tennesee, then you will most likely have more time alone. and it keeps your bf from cheating, cuz it sounds like he might, or y else would he want you 2 go away? unless he's the really nice, sweet kind.

People only know what you can tell them. You need to talk about yourself more. I'm guessing your the shy type, right? Be more out going, and try to find someone that can relate to you, and become good friends with them. It's always easier with a best bud.
hey! well me and this girl have been friends since i could remember! im a girl too and i am 13. it use to be that i could talk to her about ANYTHING! but lately i have found that i cant talk to her the same way. now whenever i have some secret to tell her i feel embaressed and usually i just dont tell her at all! she has no idea about how i feel with anything thats going on in my life right now. and i feel like i need to talk to someone....but not her! i start crying a lot lately because of all the stuff thats going on in my life and i feel that if i could talk to someone i would feel muchhhh better. but i cant talk to her. what should i do? its just not the same as before! thanks
Do you have another good friend you could talk to? It sounds like you and her are growing apart. Mayb eyou just need to talk to someone else, even if its just like a sister (if you have one). If you don't talk to someone, and keep it pent up inside, it will build up, and get worse. You can always talk to me, or prob. anyone else here. That's what we're here for.

You've come to the right gal. You probably have all the symptoms, family problems, pressure, people getting on your nerves, etc. But that doesn't mean that you should end ur life. There are things you can do.
Think of people who have it harder than you.
Focus on the good things in your life, your friends, your family, a pet, etc. Think about what they'd be going through if you committed suicide.
Try to make ur life better. Anything from having a chewy chocolate cookie, to helping people less fortunate than you could really help you out.

I know how you feel. Sorry if i offend someone, but i totally agree. What's with that? I mean, it's not like they'll even be friends by the time they graduate high school. I mean, c'mon, u dont find ur true love at eleven, so, whats the point? And, i mean, eleven! Please! They'll probably "brake up" within a week, not they they would have really "gone out". How often should you put on lotion on your face once you have put it on? Like every hour or something? I use it to keep it moist and for it not to peel or get rid of pimples! Thanks!!!
Lotions can depend on your skin type and stuff like that. i reccomend the wipes that have stuff in them, and usually work for all types. They might be mor expensive, but they work alot better.
