just friends or more?
i've been friends with this guy for like... forever right? ok well, i'm really starting to like him and i don't know what to do about it. we're the kinda friends that hug every day, and he'll tell me i'm pretty and stuff, but still. i don't know if i should try ignoring my feelings or if i should try talking to him about it. a lot of my friends say i should ask him to sadies whenever that is. i think it's soon. so can somebody tell me what to do? i'd really appriciate the help.

NEVER IGNORE YOUR FEELINGS!!! NEVER!! HaHa.. ok. Yes, tell him how you feel. Maybe he feels the same way about you & he just hasnt said anything because he didnt want to get that usual girl excuse, "We're too good of friends." or "I dont want our friendship to change." You never know til you talk to him.

I think it sounds like he does like you more than a friend. You have to be careful though and don't confront him until you've found out if he likes you back. have you asked him if there's anyone he likes at the moment? Maybe the party would be the perfect excuse to ask him....

Talk to him. It's that easy. You'll feel better getting it all out of your system, and you'll finally know what he's thinking. If he says he likes you just as a friend, then there was no harm. Or, he might say he likes you too and then the rest is history. Just consider that there is a possibility that after you say it and he's not into you, things could become awkward. Decide if it's important to keep this original kind of friendship or not.

I agree with your friends - take a chance and ask him to the dance. (It's Sadie Hawkins Dance btw - where the girls ask the guys.) You never know what might happen!

I would talk to him about it and it might come off for him being scared but if you dont tell him then u might not find out if he feels the same way. But you could tell him thru a letter, email, note, IM, or text. Or thru a friend which alotta ppl do. but either way tell him!

You should definitly ask him out. Sadies is al about the girl asking the guy. Even if your not sure if he likes you that way, you could always say that you are going just as friends.

In my opinion i think you should ask him out. The most important thing in a relationship is first being friends and you already said that you and him are really close. If i were you i would go for it,it's not everyday you find a nice sweet guy that loves you for who you are,So yes ask him to sadies...hope everything goes well

well you can either ask him out and hope it lasts or you could just be friends with him but if you ask him out then your relationship with him will never be the same especially if you break up. i would think it over for a while before i decided if i were you.
