My parents are divorced and i am 13. they both remarried. My step mom is really nice and all, i've had he since i was 6. We always go places together and all that. Recently i have joined a church youth group, and we always go to those things now. Ever since we started going, she always picks out my clothes and does my hair. She tells me to wear these certain things and sometimes i HATE the outfits she puts on me. Nobody wears them and she always does my hair the way i dont want it. I know she just wants to help out but i dont know what to do because i have no self confidence in me anymore when i wear those things. I dont want to tell her i dont like it or i dont want to wear it because i know it will hurt her feelings, she loves picking out clothes for me. She buys them when i'm not there and then she makes me where them. Any idea what to do besides tell her?

either do what the other 2 advicenators said, or you can just like flaunt it. I mean, it doesnt matter what clothes you wear, people are more drawn to personality than your clothes. maybe your mom was trying to teach you that, or idk. whatever her reason is.. well i guess if you dont want to wear them that bad, then like maybe come to a compromise, like where you show her what you'll wear and if she likes it, you can wear it, and if she doesnt, then no. i mean, and its to church, so its not like you'll be wearing like shorts, short skirts, and like risque clothing or anything. gosh it sucks.. but sure it will hurt her feelings a bit.. but i think she'll appreciate the fact that you were being honest about it or something. hope something works out anyway. just remember that like if it doesnt work out, act like you're wearing like the best clothes ever, and all that junk. clothes shouldnt be that much to make you lose your confidence.. well i guess if they were really bad, but just try to like go with it or something, lol. good luck~

I have about 15 little tiny buttons on my face; it's not even buttons I have no idea what they are cause I've never had them before.
I've decided to go for a facial but i hate having to spend that money and then my face is red and all weeird when i'm finished so i was wondering if i have another alternative to get rid of these buttons. I have 1 months to get rid of them so any possible help will be appreciated (link)

get sudo cream from england. its really good, i use it. dont use proactiv if you have sensitive skin cuz it will peel your skin!

I have no idea. Personally, I think its when they may want to kiss you.. cuz.. er, they like your lips, but im not an expert. so I got these 2 answers from a diff site.. lol
I read somewhere in a body language book that you will normally look at an imaginery triangle from the eyes, down to the neck.
If you are sexually attracted to that person the bottom of the triangle moves lower to below the breasts - which is why women sort a cleavage, to attract the gaze downward!
I would guess that a guy looking at your lips, could mean that a) he's deaf and is trying to lip read, or b) he's not attracted to you, because then he would be looking at your cleavage.
Have you ever thought that maybe he likes you a lot! and is a little nervous around you so he looks at your lips instead of your eyes, because if he looks into your eyes and you into his it will give it all away. It is a simple avoidance tactic so he doesn't give himself away. He WANTS look into your eyes but is shy around you.

I've been kind of bummed lately. I am 14, I have never kissed a girl, or even had a girlfriend.
I have plenty of friends (enough to make me happy), and I have no problem talking to girls as friends, but not other than that.
I have had plenty of girls that "liked" me, but most of the time it didn't work out (for random reasons), or they just didn't seem right for me.
Unlike a lot of guys, I am not just in it for sex (that would be great, but it's not my first priority). I just want someone to be with. (link)

just watch a whole lot of animes, and try to imitate the pictures you see, and add your own flare. I learned anime and manga style by myself, by doing so.. not watching anime or reading manga as a "MUST" but just cuz I liked it and picked up on it. Hopefully you can do that too. I mean, no offense but those how-to's arent really that great cuz its their style, and you need to find your own. unless thats what you want? try looking on youtube for anime and going to the library for manga. suggestions for anime..

I need an easy-to-make snack because Im very hungry and its only 2:30 and I eat dinner at 7! But, Im sort of trying to eat healthy. I had salad for lunch so i dont want that. But I was thinking possibly cheese and crackers? Please tell me some healthy choices that would fill me up! (link)

cheese and crackers? salad? You dont have to go to rabbit food to be healthy. Exercise, eat every couple hours, if you also want to be skinny, dont starve yourself, that could really hurt you and really freak other people out. (especially celebs who constantly compare their waists to others waists and try to make theirs resemble a stick more)
Snack? Er, how about Ji Dan Chao fan? Its eggs and rice. to make it, you need white rice, and eggs, and you can also add other stuff like brocolli, corn, and red meat (or cooked meat). First, fry the egg, and boil the rice. Then after the rice is boiled, put it in the pan with the egg and mix it up and stuff. Then after a couple minutes, take it off, then put it on a plate (it depends how much you're making) then add on extra stuff and viola! The amount of rice and eggs you need depends on how much you want to make. You need about 1-2 eggs for an average bowl, and well.. calcuate how much rice you'd need.
Also, if you're very hungry, dont eat a snack. I mean, wtf, your dinner is 5 hours away. Cook some pasta or something. Put veggies in it.

Okay, if I was a MAN, and had some sense in my head, I'd totally not date you. Well it depends if I really loved you (as a man), and you really loved me. But then, glance at your past. You better feel pretty ashamed, or your parents better will.
He'd probably be a player, or a sex-crazed idiot. The kind of guy who'd go "OMG LETS HAVE SEX" to a random person in a school hallway, realizing 5 seconds later that it was a teacher. Or, if it was a random student, he'd have sex with her and then afterwards go "Oh.. so.. lyke.. what's your name again?" Then "[insert name here]. Duh." And the guy would be like "riiight" and continue to make fake love to her.
there's a huge chance you are talking about yourself, so I'll just say to watch out, because assuming you are younger than 17... well, you can get really bad diseases and get raped or something. (sometimes condoms dont always work) If your 15, or 16, you really dont want to get a baby then, especially with High School, etc. going on. Enjoy your happy, little child-life, without sex before you regret it and try to act hip and stuff at 30, because you like Micheal J didnt have a correct, childhood, and pretend that you lost your virginity at like.. 20 instead of 13. I would feel bad for your baby, to have such a horrible mother, as thee. For your parents "GET SOME SENSE IN YOUR HEADS, YOUR DAUGHTER IS A SEX-CRAZED IDIOT!!" unless its, you know, a family thing.

Okay, has anyone out there been in a situation where you think you're getting a crush on someone and you really don't want it?
That's kinda the situation I'm in right now. He's my guy friend...I refuse to like him. I have a boyfriend whom I adore to absolutely no end. My guy's perfect for me, and he has plans, and he loves me, and I'm safe with him.
My friend, though, has recently been hinting that he likes me, and he knows I have a boyfriend - so he won't try anything. Some little part of me, though, almost wants him to.
What the heck is wrong with me? I think part of it is because he's a good friend, and we have a lot in common...but I know for a fact that it wouldn't work - I've tried relationships where I had almost everything in common with the guy, and they REALLY didn't work. Especially not with someone as competitive as I am. I'm majorly into music, and those guys were too. (So is my friend I'm talking about here)
How do you kill a crush without making yourself hate the guy? (That's what I've done in the past, and I don't want to hate him 'cause he's a sweetheart...)

Dont shave it off, because hair is everywhere. Unless you want to put yourself through painful waxing, but seriously whats the point. If you still feel annoyed by the hair on your forhead, then I suggest you wear a sock over your head. Problem solved. :D

My brother just broke up with his gf of almost a year and isn't sure if they'll get back together. For a while people (my mom and dad, family friend) have asked if he likes my friend Nicole because whenever she's over they joke around a lot and he teases her. I've talked to her about this and she has said she doesn't like him like that...it would be weird because he's my brother. He says he doesn't want to date her but he likes her and is attracted to her. This really upsets me because she's my BEST friend. He thinks I'm being immature and that Nicole really does like him. I dunno.. just let it happen, if your friend and brother really want to get together. If you feel weird about it, talk to your friend, or brother about it, because if you keep your feelings bottled up then soon one day they'll just explode out.

My husband and I have a pretty normal marriage. We live in a vacation area in Washington State where the real estate values have skyrocketed. Six years ago my husband wanted to buy some property for $200,000, I thought it was way too much for us at the time and didn't think we could afford that kind of payment. Needless to say, that peice of property today is worth one million!!! We had no idea this would happen. Now my husband blames me for us now not being rich! I feel so guilty I can hardly stand it. How can I get over this. It is over nad done now, but he is upset by it. I just don't know what to do. We are doing pretty good.
We own the cabin we live in, own a 3 acre peice of land and one rental cabin. I think it is good but he can't get over me not going along with the purchase years back.
Thank you for any advice to help me get over my feelings of guilt and regret and move on.

Dont be so angry at yourself for not buying it at the time, because back then you didnt know that the price was going to rise! But there is always a reason why something went a certain way. But as long as you have shelter, food, and clothing, you can survive! There will always be something that you would be regretful for doing later. It was good judgement of you not to buy the house, because for all you knew, the price of the house could have gone down, and you would have less money than before!

I work my abs a lot, and I definitely have a 6 pack underneath my stubborn belly fat. Im a normal weight for my age and height, Im 14/f/5'5" and 129 lbs.
