I was burning a cd [ yes i know ] on windows media player, it finished burning and then I clicked off it by accident [ not that it should make a difference] then i clicked back on windows media player and clicked the button which opens the cd drive. But it wont budge and it wont open! I havnt even knocked the laptop about or anything it just wont open and I really need it open! Any advice or help, I will be in big trouble if it wont open! Please
Turn off your computer and look at the CD drive. Somewhere near the CD tray there will be a small hole. Stick a paper clip or similar straight into that hole to manually open the tray. It takes a bit of force.
If that doesn't work, or your CD drive doesn't have one, then you could try to pry it open. In my experience, you can usually force it open without breaking it. However, if the tray is locked or stuck in there, you might ruin it completely.

No, that is not true. When you post an honesty box comment, the comment is stored on Facebook's servers. It is not stored on any profile or home computer. Only someone who has direct access to Facebook's database can see who posted an honesty box comment.

Ok the computer has a total of 256MB of Ram which is standard now it has two sockets now what is the maximum that you can put on the computer can you get 1GB or can you only put 512MB. If you could please help me that would be great and where would the best place to buy it online. Thanks!

Someone or something hacked into my myspace account. On my homepage, there is a thing from Tom saying that I've been phished and I have to change my password. Whenever I try to click the link to change my password the browser sends me back to the log-in screen. I tried to do it manually, and it did change my password, but I still couldn't do anything on my myspace. What should I do?
That is probably the phish. Someone pretending to be tom sent you a link which led you to a site that looked like the myspace login screen. And you gave them your password.
Type myspace.com in the URL bar. Log in. If the login fails:

Then immediately change your password for your account. If you use the same password for your email account, change that too.

okay well for some reason my computer has many ways to connect to the internet. i have:

-aol explorer
-internet explorer
- & safari
right now safari is the main browser. how do i change it so it can be internet explorer?

earlier today i was in a hury and just shut my computer off by holding down the power button which i've done before and its been fine but now i just started my computer back up and my computer has been reset. i lost all of my documents, all of my pictures, songs on itunes, not to mention 3 years worth of saved games on The Sims and downloads!! i didn't backup files because i dont really have anything worth backing up. when i started the computer i was getting boxes saying "would you like to view the windows XP tutorial" as if i was turning on the computer for the first time. i have shut off my computer by holding down the power button many many times before so im really confused why this happened now. what happened?
You are probably just in a new user account. Go to start, log off. If your username isn't there, navigate to C:\documents and settings\OLD USERNAME. Your documents will be in the desktop and "my documents" folder. You can move them to your new user account.
It probably didn't cause this, but in the future don't hold down the power button unless your computer is completely frozen. Every time you do that a small but random amount of data is lost. If this lost data happens to be in an important place, bad things happen.

You are saving in File -> save project. You need to save as File -> save movie file -> my computer -> click next -> more choices -> other settings -> video for broadband (340kbps) -> click next -> wait -> done.

Everytime I try to sign in some website (For example, MySpace.com, Allpoetry.com, Yahoo.com, etc.)
When I try to sign in on Yahoo! to check E-Mail, it says:
"The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)"
I don't know what that means?
And when I try to sign on MySpace.com, it just refreshes the page and doesn't log me in onto my Home page.
Can anyone help me fix this? Off my computer to allow me to sign in any website, or send me a step-by-step on what to do!

Is there any way to stop Microsoft Excel 2003 from deleting the "LEADING" 0's??
For example if i were to put in 0123
It deletes the 0.

Select the cells you want affected then go to format, cells. Go to the "numbers" tab.
Choose "text" to keep whatever formatting and 0s you have. You will be unable to perform calculations on those cells, though. Choose "special" and then set the formatting template to whatever you want to keep the ability to perform calculations.

ok if someone is right dominant, like right-handed and everything and never exercises so never gets to use their left side of the body like even chewing food on the left side of their jaw, will the left side become weaker and slower in growth? if you start using your left side now will it catch up?
No. Chewing is done by one muscle group, no matter which side you chew on. Only a few unimportant muscles are affected. Other face muscles shouldn't be affected by dominance at all.
In the rest of your body, side dominance does make one side just a bit weaker, but it's close enough that you shouldn't notice. It's possible, but very difficult to reverse side dominance or become ambidextrous.

No, it's not true. The US federal government would never be able to pass such a law because education has traditionally been the domain of the states. The federal government only controls funding. Your state might be doing something, though.
