Excel - Deleting "leading" 0's Is there any way to stop Microsoft Excel 2003 from deleting the "LEADING" 0's??
For example if i were to put in 0123
It deletes the 0.
Is there anyway to stop this? (WITHOUT HACKS etc.)
Thanks so much for all your help to everyone!!!

Select the cells you want affected then go to format, cells. Go to the "numbers" tab.
Choose "text" to keep whatever formatting and 0s you have. You will be unable to perform calculations on those cells, though. Choose "special" and then set the formatting template to whatever you want to keep the ability to perform calculations. ]
