internet help

okay well for some reason my computer has many ways to connect to the internet. i have:

-american online
-aol desktop
-aol explorer
-internet explorer
- & safari

right now safari is the main browser. how do i change it so it can be internet explorer?

I assume you use Windows.

Go to start, run. Type:
appwiz.cpl
On the left you will see some options. Click "set program access and defaults". Click the down arrow next to "custom". Under "choose a default web browser" click "internet explorer". Press ok. Done.
