My name is Allison& I'm 16..you don't know me but i was just browsing through advicenators and i was wondering if you could help me with something..I'm having insecurites when guys say that celebrties are attractive,i know they'll never date them..but it still really bothers me..
what do i do?Not to sound cocky,but I've never thought of myself as ugly or anything&i've always been a very confident person.(if that helps)

hey girl. don't worry, all guys are going to do this. i know it gets us mad a lot of the time, but you just need to pretend like you dont care and let it go. just dont say anything about the celebrity, and change the subject. or you could be like "yeah shes pretty" then change it. be confident. hey your good looking too, so theres nothing to worry about.

ok so i like this guy named joe and he's really hard to figure out...so i don't know if he likes me. he flirts with me but i really don't know. there's this dance at my skool in two weeks and i don't know if he'll ask me, should i ask him to the dance or would that be wrong since guys are supposed ask...WHAT SHOULD I DO???

don't ask him. if the guys are supposed to ask, let them ask. tell him how you feel before the dance, then he'll probably decide to ask you.

How do you overcome jealousy?

The guy i like (along with previous guys) look at pictures of girls and comment on how good/hott they look and it makes me extremly jealous and i always end up creating drama... how can i get over this??? PLEASE HELP!!

Today I went to a salon to get my hair dyed and they dyed it brown (exactly what i wanted!!) i was just wondering what i need to do to keep it this color. how long do i need to wait until i shower next, how to i keep the blonde highlights (from before) from showing up through the brown, what shampoo should i use, etc... thanks so much!

are theyre any tips on getting smooth skin and less oily skin other than buying products?

drink lots of water. dont touch your face. wash it daily. splash it with hot water. baby powder will get rid of some of it. exfoliate! use a loufa or bath scrubber. exfoliating will get rid of lots of oil.

I will rate fives for all answers! In about 12 days it will be my boyfriend and I's one year anniversary. I was really low on ideas so I got a fleece throwover blanket embroidered for him, it has our names and December 22nd, 2004 on it and it also says I LOVE YOU. So basically I live in Arizona

Okay I asked the question earlier about my blood on my pad ( from my period ) was brown. Well now I checked again and it's so dark its black. Is this STILL normal or do I need to talk to my mom about this ?

it's normal. it turns black after a while. your period can be anywhere from light red-black.
