**Is This A Good Idea?!***

Question Posted Saturday December 10 2005, 8:17 pm

I will rate fives for all answers! In about 12 days it will be my boyfriend and I's one year anniversary. I was really low on ideas so I got a fleece throwover blanket embroidered for him, it has our names and December 22nd, 2004 on it and it also says I LOVE YOU. I dont' know, is this a good idea and if it is, what also can i get him to go along with it. I bought all kinds of things to make him a card and I just think maybe a lil' something else will do. thanks! -sahara

Oh my gosh thats cute.. Where did you get that made add.. let me know in feedback please.. Also i found that my boyfriend liked a build a bear on our anniversary.. He sleeps with that bear.. i didn`t make him like a happy anniversary one tho..I made one of his favorite football team.. but if thats too much how about buyin some roses and get a fake one and say when the last rose dies thats when i`ll stop loving you.. thats always cute.. ummm.. but him a cd or dvd you think he`ll like.. Give him something that has to do with the first day you met/first date.. so he`ll remember it.. ♥ Dez

Well it really depens on how the guy is i mean you want him to liek your gift. But i think what you got him is really sweet. You might want to get him something he is really in to though like if he loves a certian band get him the CD if he dont have it i mena like there is just something missing then you should talk to him and see what he wants

If hes the romantic type, then make him a list of all the reasons you love him. if hes not, then that will just scare him.

Give him a framed picture of the two of you together.

Make him his favorite meal or treat.

Treat him to a movie and dinner.

some thing like that is always good. Put thought into it, and Im sure he will love it

good luck! Congrats on the one year!!!!

Well, in all honesty, guys really aren't into those kind of things. But that would be the guys that I know personally. So, I can't tell you for sure that he'd like it or not, because I don't know him. You could always give him that and buy him a video game, take him out to dinner, or buy him clothes from his favorite store. You don't have to do ALL of those things, maybe one or two.

Oh, and by the way, that's my anniversary with my boyfriend too! Only, it's our 19 months.. Not 12. =)

EDIT: I got him a few video games and a giftcard to Circuit City. Then he took me out to dinner. But it was with his whole family since our one year anniversary was on his mom's birthday.

Wow, you just gave me a great idea for my boyfriend! I love it! I don't think you need to do anything else. That sounds really perfect! If you really want to get him something else though, I'd say to get him a DVD, a video game, a shirt, or something like that. Not all guys are into being completely romanticized. :)

I love that idea. It's so sweet, I can't wait until October 21, 2006 now. lol. I think that's perfect, that must've been expensive though right? :) It's sweet. Buy him like cologne or clothes or something. Aww I love you, lol sorry if that sounds creepy, but you gave me like the best idea ever! Haha. good luck with that. :) And happy 1 year.

If you and your boyfriend are really committed and such I think it's a good idea, otherwise I think something like that might scare him or be considered sort of corny and clingy.

What other things is your boyfriend into? Video games? Cards.. like playing cards or sports cards? Is there any movies out that he wants? You could always wrap the movies and little gifts and the blankets.

Or you could get some nice fluffy pillows to go with that blanket?

Very good idea! I was going to do the same thing for my ex-b/f that's also my best friend for Christmas. So I like your idea. And you know what they say, a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So bake some cookies. I did that for my ex who was b/f at the time for his birthday and he loved it. Most guys love food.

Honestly, I believe that it really depends on your boyfriend and how romantic he is...
*If you believe he's romantic, Its a good idea
*If he doesnt fulfill ur romantic desires, then giving him the blanket might scare him a little
*It also depends on your age.. Teen males are more likely to act a little more horrified than Adult males
*On the other hand, you guys have been going out for a year, so i dont see why it should!
*I forgot about the I LOVE YOU written on it... hmmm... have you guys told eachother that already?
I hope I helped:D
