I am a grade ten and I am required to take 'Planning 10' this year. It is a mandatory CAPP (career and personal planning) class. I was going to hand in an assignment today (on time) but asked the teacher if I could borrow her holepuncher (so I could put it in the required folder) but she said she didn't have one. She also said that I would lose 50% on the assignment automatically.

Hole punching was not part of the criteria so I feel like I should not lose so many marks. On my last assignment the whole class got 90-100% but I got 54%. I am a straight A student and try exceptionally hard on my work yet she gives me terrible marks for no reason. I even do assignments when I feel like they invade my privacy.

I have had enough. Am I overreacting? Who can I speak to about this other than her? She doesn't have a whole lot of common sense and I do not feel comfortable talking to someone so unfair.

I've done those online calculators and they say i am, but you can't really trust those things because they don't take in to consideration a lot of important factors, you know. ok. so i am a 14/f and im about 125 pounds. i have a chubby stomach and a shubby face. but not overly chubby. the only thing i dun like is my chin. like i dont have a double chin but like i will one day. is there anyway to loose some fat around my face??

You cannot spot-reduce fat, as much as we'd all love to. Lose weight everywhere, and it will eventually come off of your face. :)

My boyfriend has been through a lot of stress this week and he said its best not to talk to no one and he doesnt answer his phone, but I have talked to him face to face he is not mad at me but life is just getting to him. What are some things I can do to make him feel better or something romantic to do?

How does a person become a film actor? Basic and rather stupid question I know, and I'm guessing it's a lot to do with luck, but really - how do succesful film actors typically get there? I'm talking about in England and America principally. Does anyone know or have any experience of this? Is it just a case of somehow getting a good agent and hoping you have a 'look' someone spots for a role? If so, how do you get an agent? Assuming you have no contacts in the industry.

Honestly, if you have no contacts, your best bet is to get a lot of experience. There are a lotttt of teen actors.

It does have a lot do with the luck in finding an agent, but after that, it's really how much your family wants to pay for you maybe becoming a small star.

Looks also matter. A lot.

You need to google an agent, and get signed. They'll take it from there.

If you are serious, you'll need to get out here to Burbank, CA ASAP. People always say Hollywood, and that's a lie. There are like, 2 studios in Hollywood. Burbank has about 10. All of the major networks are in Burbank, except for Universal.

what is your opinion on quiet girls. not shy, quiet.

It's always easier to get to know someone who will kind of put their personalities out there.

Most of the guys that I know won't really make an effort to "pry open" a quiet girl's personality to help them break their shell. Granted, these aren't all guys, and I'm a girl.

People might mistake your quietness for a lack of self-confidence, a major insecurity, or some other thing.

My suggestion is to just chat it up! I talk a lot (you have no idea), and while it bugs a few people, it entertains a lot of people, and I have tons of friends because I talk a lot.

Me and my cousins are trying to make our own video with cool features . Some of the things we would like is (i cant explain this very well but..)when you you see something happen and then rewind and happen again.For example say you were seeing some1 slide down the stairs on a tray or something
you would see them slide down then like go back up again and then you see them slide down again .
I hope ya know what i mean.Another thing we want is to be able to make things zoom around and blur ect.
I know this sounds confusing

Well, the replay thing is something that, on any program, you will have to do yourself. I've don eit many a time; you just repeat the frame/clip.

iMovie is very easy to use, and it comes standard on all Macintosh computers. Avid and FinalCut Pro are expensive, professional programs. They are amazing once you figurethem out, though.

Pinnacle, according to professional editors, is crap, but it works well for the beginner.

My cell phone has a memory card slot, or I'm pretty sure (it's at the bottom, and rectangular) and I have to get a new cellphone because it doesn't charge anymore. My question is can I buy a memory card and save everything on my phone then put the card into my new phone and have everything? Also, once I get the new phone, does anyone know if my number will change? I have sprint if that helps. Thank you.

At Verizon, they have a machine that will transfer everything, so I can imagine it will be similar at Sprint. Call and ask!

I'm a sophmore in high school, and i'm starting to think about college. How big is a "medium" sized school? And also, can anyone make a suggestion of a good school (i go to a private school, my grades- on average are B/ B+ (with a few A's and 1 C.) Cost doesn't matter. And preferrably on the east cost (i currently live in NY/ and would prefere not to go out to say California...but i havent totally ruled going far away out yet.)

I'm going to be honest. With your grades, your chances are limited.

State schools will most likely be your best bet. Maaaaybe some newer private schools, if you're lucky.

ok. well in class my teacher who is kinda old droped some pop sickle sticks and i decided to pick them up for him and i pick them all up and give them to him. these stick were under an all guys table and they were all laughing for some reason and this guy ray grabed my arm and said my teacher was looking at my butt and stuff and the whole table of guys were laughing. now i didnt really believ it becuz 1. im not a **** and i dont wear the short short skirts. and 2 i was at an angle so i didnt think he saw anything but why were they laughing?? Hey everyone! On Tuesday my whole grade is going to a theatre to see a Christmas Carol. We are supposed to dress nice because we are representing our school, except nobody actually told us how nice we are supposed to dress. So my question is, what type of clothes should I wear so I look nice if people dress up but I don't look too weird if people don't dress up. Thanks in advanced &hearts

In like 7th grade, when we went to a local theatre, most of the girls wore skirts.

I'd suggest maybe a denim skirt with a blazer and really cute shoes. Maybe a lacy top underneath the blazer?

Straight hair is always more elegant, so if your hair isn't naturally straight, then straighten it and maybe wear eyeliner and lip gloss. Leave your hair down or put it in a ponytail. Straight ponytails are so classy!!

Ask your teachers and friends what they're wearing so that you can get a ballpark idea of what you should look like.

I want to go to Coral Reefr Senior High School, and there is an International Baccaleaurate Programme there, and i was wondering if some one can tell me, what that is. I hear it is good, but what exactly is it.

The person below is an idiot.

IB, or International Bacclaureate, is a college program. The classes are of college caliber, and oftentimes, prerequsites are waived if you pass these classes.

If that were all that was to it, it would be an AP, or Advanced Placement course. What makes it different is that these courses are good at pretty mch every college in the world. So if you went to Sweden, you'd still have this credit. APs are only good in the US.
