Hey advice givers, how's life? :P
I have this problem with my mom's iPod, and I need to fix it, she said she'd get me 10 songs if I figured it out by googling something etc. So when I open iTunes, I go to the folder her music is in. She bought some new music and asked me to update it, so I did. I went to the library and copied the music into her folder. When I plug in her iPod it takes me to this COMPAQ Owner's disc folder that only appears when I update songs. Either on a CD, or iPod etc. On the iPod screen it says DO NOT DISCONNECT, which is normal. Then it takes me to this place where you can either hit Summary, Music, Podcasts, Photos, or Contacts. I hit music, and everything was working fine. But then it asked me if I wanted to replace the library with the selected playlists. So I checked off the playlists I wanted and it worked. After, at the top it said iPod sync is complete, but the iPod screen still said DO NOT DISCONNECT. Then I disconnected it anyway because it was taking WAY longer than it should to copy three songs! So I looked and none of the songs were there. Confused... much. Please help! (link)

Hah, phone sex is easier than you think. Most of the guys that I've done it with just like the whole moaning/groaning alot and like, whispering their name sort of breathlessly. I've been told I'm really good at it, if that means anything to you. I haven't actually ever been into it, but I know a few people that are. Talk in a soft voice, too. There isn't much you can do to make it NOT good for them, actually. Just make sure, if you ever 'fake' it, don't tell him. It crushes egos very easily.

Okay so I'm kind of overweight. I'm not a whale or anything, but I'm big enough to feel really uncomfortable wearing a bathing suit. Today I bought my bathing suit for the summer. I tried it on and I thought it was perfect for me. It's light at the top and it changes to darker shades towards the bottom. The top is a halter and it has a built-in skirt that conceals my less-appealing cures. I thought it look good because it concealed my huge butt while showing off my nice shoulders and neck.
Anyway, I get it home and my mom tells me it's an "old lady bathing suit." I got mad at said, "Well at least I'm not a slut!" Apparently, if it's not a skimpy two piece, it must be an "old lady bathing suit," in her opinion anyway.
What's your opinion on this? Should I get a different suit? I don't want to be laughed at when I go to the beach or to the pool. (link)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your choice of suit. If you like how it fits on you-- then kudos. Then that's the suit you should have.
I'd feel uncomfortable in a bikini regardless of my weight-- it's called being modest, and right on for you in that aspect. Not everyone in the whole world wants to have to deal with everyone seeing every inch of them.
Besides, a suit that looks good on you is MUCH nicer to look at than a suit that's too small or doesn't cover what it needs to.
You shouldn't get laughed at-- regardless of your size or where you go in your suit. It's your body and you should be proud of it.
But, in any case, I always like to keep a cover up or a wrap handy because I'm terribly paranoid about my thights and stomach areas.

The public schools where I live are terrible.
This is why I want to be homeschooled:
- I don`t think there was one week that I didn`t come home crying because of a time my "friends" stabbed me in the back or someone who I don`t even know had been mean to me.
- I never got enough sleep, so I was constantly sick. (I missed about 20 something days of school)
- The "teachers" honestly can`t teach. The only way I passed math was with a tutor.
- Not safe. They send us to school with tornado warnings & hurricanes. There were about eight times where we missed two hours of class due to sitting in the hallways being told to shut up, since they were stupid enough to send us to school with a tornado warning or a hurricane. (link)

I'm homeschooled. I love it. I had similar problems with all of my school choices.
If you still socialize plenty, then that takes care of that--
Since I've started homeschooling my grades have come up, my health has gotten better-- i get more sleep, i have time to eat healthier-- and i generally feel like i've learned more.
Cons?
If you get behind too far, it takes alot of motivation to catch up-- and it's easy to fall behind.
Socializing's a big thing.
And, seeing as you already have a tutor, if there was anything that you didn't know, you could just go to them or one of your parents if you needed help.

My husband sexual past bothers us both. My husband thinks he needs to tell me everything he has done in his past with ex-girlfriends. He asks me questions like " Do you want to know?" and tells me " I want to tell you..." I tell him that I dont want nor do I need to know about his sex life with his ex-girlfriends. He often gets frusterated with me and tells me anyhow or just complains all day. Sometimes he even gets mean and controlling by saying things like "you cant go to sleep until I'm able to tell you". Ah, I would say that you should feel lucky that your husband wants to be so open with you. Definitely take advantage of it. You may not need, or want to know about his past, but if he's THAT willing to share, just let him talk to you about it. At least he doesn't want to know EVERY detail about you and your ex-boyfriends, right?

The very first time? Yeah, it hurts. But only for girls- lol, it doesn't her boys their first time having sex. And your 'cherry', also known as your hymen can be broken easily, with things like tampons, so that doesn't always hurt-- you don't always even realize it.

I feel so alone right now.
I'll start from the beginning.
About 6 months ago I found out my parents were having marital problems. I was really shocked because everyone looked at my parents as the "perfect couple" and so did I. My dad was always my best friend. Everyone knew I was his favorite and he spoiled me so much. and then I found out he cheated on my mom with a 28 year old nurse he works with. I was crushed. He moved out just to clear his head for 3 months but he promised not to see this girl. Right before christmas my mom got a strange feeling and went to a restaurant near his work and she found my dad and that girl at the bar. After that my dad begged to come back. So we let him. It was great for a while until 2 months later when he told us he was going to move out again. So i stopped talking to him. The day before he left I got very hurt on a school trip and had to be rushed to the hospital. I guess my dad realized he was making a mistake and decided to stay again because of my injury. But then a month later when I was almost healed he said he was moving out again but this time for good. It's been 3 months now and he's dating this girl. I havn't talked to him since. My brother, sister, and mom all talk to him, but I just can't. I'm usually pretty strong, but once in a while I'll just break down and cry. Another thing is one day I drank way too much and decided to have sex just so I could do something my dad wouldn't want me to do. Now everyone thinks I'm a slut because I've down this 2 other times when I was drunk. So now I think I have a drinking problem because I drink almost 3 times a week. And I don't know how to make people think I'm not a slut. By the way I'm 15/f.

It's alright to be mad at your dad- he cheated on your mom and you thought you could trust him. it's understandable. Put down the bottle- you're too young to be drinking, regardless. It seems like if you stay away from the alchohol, you'll stay away from the boys, clearing up both problems at once. It'll take time to forgive your dad, if you ever, alright? It happens. If you need someone to talk to, I'm sure just about anyone on this site, including myself, would talk to you for as long as you needed to, whenever they could, alright? Let your words express yourself, rather than your drunken actions.

Hah, phone sex is really easier than you think. It all depends on who you're doing it with. It also depends on wether or not you're into it. I'm not into it, but I still do it, cause my guys really like it.
In my experience, one person's talking [usually the boy] more, and the other's listening. The point is to turn the other person on, over the phone. :]
You just talk about how you want to touch the other person, where, etc. My boyfriend now likes to do most of the talking, [and seeing as I just act like I'm into it] I [fake] moan, and don't have to talk much. Giving head is just another name [or whatever] for giving a boy a blow job [when someone sucks on a boy's penis.] Your 'cherry' is another name for your hymen, which can break your first time having sex, or doing other things, like excersizing or tampons or horseback riding or-- lots of things, really.

First of all- no one on in this site in their right mind [or that dont want to get reported] would answer this question for you, the way you want them too. Sorry, hun.

Who ever tells you self harm isn't the way- is correct. I've done the cutting thing. I've done the annorexic thing. The bulimic thing. The freezing cold showers. The burning hot showers. I've done it. All of it. And it doesn't work.
It may for a while, but then you'll need something bigger, something more extreme, because it just won't do you any good anymore. Trust me, been there, done that.
But the ONE thing that actually helped me? My friends and my siblings. I'm not close to my parents, but I'm close to both of my brothers.
I can't tell you how many times I randomly called my friends, sobbing on the phone in the middle of the night. They would just lie there and listen to me, until I calmed down enough to eventually cry myself to sleep.
Talk to a teacher that you can trust-- I also had one of those that suprisingly, had also gone through it all as a teenager and it was encouraging to know that people that hurt do get better. They do move on; they live their lives.
Talk to your doctor. I'm now on antidepressants and they work suprisingly well-- and even if my life's still hell, at least I'm not a big sobbing, lying around and sleeping mess all of the time. I can stick up for myself better.
And hey, you may get two answers to this question, you may get 20-- but you should know that your words can express who you are too. If you need to talk to someone that isn't in the middle of everything-- I'm sure anyone on here, [very much including myself] would be perfectly willing to talk to you.
I've been through it. I'm going through it. I understand it.

It depends on the extent of your annorexia. It doesn't work though and it's not worth it.-- I say that from personal experience. You don't eat-- and then you feel all dizzy and people start freaking out, then like the first thing you eat, you gain the weight back. You'd do better eating properly and getting excersize.

Eat lots of veggies. Watch your sugar intake and your carbs. Lay off of the potatoe chips and stuff like corn, and rice, and potatoes. All have tons of carbs- that turn into sugar-which turns into weight. There's no sure fire, safe, way to loose weight fast. It has to be a full lifestyle change. Go walk your dog or walk around the block once or twice a day. And make sure you get plenty of sleep. [remember. every ONE hour before midnight, is equeal to TWO after. dont stay up all hours of the night.]

i am a redhead, and actually have very few freckles, except for in the summer, then i get them like dark brown on my nose. They are soooo dark and i hate them!!
