Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.

- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.

i've decided to start scrunching my hair, but see..my hairs really really curly, so if i let it dry naturally it juss poofs & i can't seem to get the 'wet look' & i'm not totally sure what to do, so if anyone has any tips er anything to help, its an easy 5 =)

OK. I'm 16 and I'm male. I made myself throw up twice about a week ago, and got a killer sore throat. Never doing that again.
Anyways, is it possible that my stomach shrunk because of it? Because I have found that less food is needed to make me full. I used to be able to eat 3 slices of pizza, but I'm getting full after 2, and today, I got full on 4 mozzarela sticks. Is my stomach shrinking, not allowing me to eat as much? Is there something I should know?

It is possible that you shrunk your stomach in that little amount of time. Or you could just have something in your head from after throwing up like if you eat more, you'll have to throw up.

But it was a very smart decision to stop with the throwing up, not healthy AT ALL.

Diabetes is NOT contagious. Absolutley nothing will happen to you, unless they had a cold or something.
Other than that, you can't catch anything or end up with any kind of disease. It's not contagious so there's nothing to worry about.
I have a friend, well he's actually a sisters friend, but I would also consider him my friend and I'm sure he would do the same. He's in 9th grade and I'm in 10th. One day while we were out we were on the topic of God and he said he didnt believe in God. He says he thinks Jesus existed but that he was just a normal guy. He said if God existed then he wouldn't have diabetes.
Now I want to educate him about God and help him accept him into his life. I feel it is my duty as a Christian to guide him to a better life with God, because you are supposed to help the people who don't believe. He is a really sweet boy, and I told him that I was going to teach him and he said "you can try but it won't happen" so if he said I could try I'm going to make every effort too!
My problem is I don't know how to approach it. How should I start off with this teaching and showing? I've considered asking my pastor but I decided to come here first. Thanks for any help!
You can't force your religion on people. That's what makes people turn on you. So many people have tried that to me and I don't want to have anything to do with them. If he doesn't believe in God, let him not believe in God. You can't change his beliefs just as he can't change yours.

It's the same concept of saying "There is God, there is Jesus, become a Christian with me."
People who don't believe in something don't want to believe in it for a reason. His reason for not wanting to believe is probably a stupid reason for you. But you can't change his mind on things.
I understand you're trying to be a good Christian and a good friend, but you can't force anything on him.

This may sound harsh, but I'm just being honest. Just because what YOU believe in means alot to you, and is important to you doesn't mean it's going to do the same for another person.

Yes, it's possible for it to tear without having sex. It can break from sitting down, using a tampon, masturbation, riding a horse, running... Many things can contribute to having your hymen torn.

Well if you have reallllly thin hair, and you use conditioner, DON'T use it. If you have thicker hair, use a very mild conditioner. It usually depends on the thickness of your hair and whether or not you use conditioner. My suggestion is to use a mild conditioner or no conditioner at all. If you're not using a conditioner, just get a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner. It should be less greasy then. But I'm not saying it won't be. If you have really thin hair, it's get greasier faster.

If this is what you are asking, it is IMPOSSIBLE to contract and STD from another person if they do NOT have it. If the person has an STD and it is not visible, or if it is in remission (Such as herpes, sometimes they go away) you can STILL get it.

Whenever you have sex, whether you are on birth control, using a condom, withdrawal method, or doing all three of those there is ALWAYS a chance of getting pregnant. It doesn't mean there's a high chance, but there is still a chance. Be it a very very slim chance, or a very very high chance, there is ALWAYS a chance. So yes, to answer your question it is possible that you can become pregnant while on your period.

13F (4'10 and 85lbs) I really really want to get my belly button peirced, the thing is my mom said no I think I'm old enough but she doesn't. Actually, I'd agree with your mother. You are a VERY tiny girl, and you will continue to grow until you are about 18 years old. If you start growing too rapidly, the skin around the ring will stretch and it will fall out and you'll have a big hole in your stomach. Not attractive.
It's NOT safe to pierce it yourself, it can get insanely infected and that will HURT. To get it pierced it's around 45 dollars. And for some girls it hurts, and others it doesn't. It all depends on how you handle pain. You could get a ring from any store that sells jewlery. Wal*mart has it, Afterthoughts has it, Charlotte Russe has it, Claires has it... You can normally take the ring off after 8 weeks. And if your neighbor knows HOW to and has the right equipment, which I doubt, then she could. But I really would say to wait until you are 15 at LEAST to get it done. You would have grown more by then.

Well, it would most definately help if you were to tell us if you are male or female. Because if you're a guy and someone tells you to paint it pink with purple polka dots or something... You'd probably give them a 1 for it.
Anyway, pick out whatever your favorite colors are. You can paint each wall a different color and then with the accessories in your room you can use those colors. For example if you like pink, you could paint a wall pink and then have like pink bed sheets, throw pillows, candles, throw blankets, picture frames, etc. Same thing with any other color.

For about 89% of guys, the prettier the better. So if you feel that you look prettier with makeup, then wear make up. If you feel you look to fake either don't wear as much or don't wear any at all.

It's spelled gynocologist... Just as an FYI. Anyway, it's not horrible. For some women it can be VERY uncomfortable and sometimes painful. I mean... You have someone looking at your vagina... What do you expect? If you have a male gynocologist, it will probably be even more uncomfortable then it would be if your doctor was female. If you DO have a male doctor, and you'd feel more comfortable having a female doctor check you out, you can request that also depending on the practice.
