That works but i also found that theres another way that makes your look even better. Do the normal way, like what i said but do it before you go to bed. Then make one braid or two braids while your hair is wet right after you put the gel/mousse in. Sleep on it. Then in the morning take out your braid(s) & your hair will look H0T =) TRUST ME. But if this doesnt work for you or you dont like it you can go back to the normal way. H0OPE I HELPED! ♥ [ xHC0Barbi3x's advice column | Ask xHC0Barbi3x A Question ]
Melanie4981 answered Friday September 9 2005, 11:36 pm: I have waist length curly-ish hair (and i'm old, 24 3 day ago!!) and I find the best way to scrunch my hair is to wash it and condition it as noraml then put a whole herd (about 3 tennis balls size) of mousse thorugh it! Though this depends on how lomg your hair is.
The mousse I use is "Garnier Grific, Ultimate Curls, Styling Mousse" and I let it dry naturally cos if you introduce any kinda heat or moisture to curly hair then you end up looking like Diana Ross on a Bad Hair Day..... (if you fon't know who Diana Ross is ask ur Mom or Dad to show you!!!)
Take Care and have fun.... remember, thousands of people everyday pay to have thier hair made curly where as only about 1,000 pay to have thiers made curly!!!
If ypu want any more info on how to make ur hair curly inbox me or e-Mail me on Mel Harvey@hotmail.co.ul
Juicygirl answered Friday September 9 2005, 9:38 pm: I found this website with some tips on how to scrunch your hair. It's more UK based but i'm sure you'll have no problem translating. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
I haven't tried it myself since i have no confidence what-so-ever in my hairdressing skills and require professional help of my stylist Mhronda and Gee, but hope it helps. [ Juicygirl's advice column | Ask Juicygirl A Question ]

tasuki answered Friday September 9 2005, 9:32 pm: First you put mousse or gel in your hair. Then kind of...grab your hair and hold it kind of tightly. Move it up and down sort of like you're washing it. I'm sorry if you still don't get it, it's kind of hard to explain. If you were here I could just show you but...yeah...maybe if you know someone who is into cosmetology and hair-dressing you can ask them about it? Or next time you get a hair cut say "How do you scrunch your hair?" You've probably had it done to you by a hair dresser before, they've done it to me thousands of times.
