Tightened Stomach? OK. I'm 16 and I'm male. I made myself throw up twice about a week ago, and got a killer sore throat. Never doing that again.
Anyways, is it possible that my stomach shrunk because of it? Because I have found that less food is needed to make me full. I used to be able to eat 3 slices of pizza, but I'm getting full after 2, and today, I got full on 4 mozzarela sticks. Is my stomach shrinking, not allowing me to eat as much? Is there something I should know?
Thank You!
-PS: I am NOT throwing up ever again, it was an awful experiance. Please don't critisize it or anything, it is done and over with.

I'm not going to critisize you or anything but you should not throw up unless you are sick. I'm not saying you have bullemia or anything but there is a lot of bad things that could happen to you when you make yourself throwup. and you say that you will not ever do it again but once you start you won't be able to stop. Stay strong

Hiya! Well, first of all please don't make yourself throw up again. Thats a disease, and possibly an eating disorder. People with builmia and anorexia do that. Not a good idea. Your sore throat is probably b/c of that. Some weeks you feel like eating less than other weeks. When you're depressed you seem to eat less. That might just be it.
Hope I helped!

well yea its possible that it did shrink. but i mean you can always stretch it out again by stuffing yourself, which isnt the best thing. but yea i dont think theres really anything you dont know. lol it should adjust soon. just keep eating regularly. ]
It is possible that you shrunk your stomach in that little amount of time. Or you could just have something in your head from after throwing up like if you eat more, you'll have to throw up.
Mozzarella sticks are good....
ANYWAY! Yes, throwing up is an awful experience. I would know... But let's not get into that..
But it was a very smart decision to stop with the throwing up, not healthy AT ALL.
What exactly was your reason for throwing up? Are you TRYING to make yourself lose weight? I know many more ways for you to lose weight a healthy way instead of bullimia or anorexia. If you need help on getting fit just leave it in my inbox and I'll get back to you!!
Best luck =) ]
Hey,
ur vomiting would of had made your stomach smaller makeing you eat less to get full but dont worry its all good.Everyone stomach shrinks if they eat less or not as much food is going in, but if you want toput it bak to its original size just gradully eat even though yor full and adventully it'll re-shape.Vomiting feral and lyk leaves that hotacidy taste in ur mouth-yummy-(jks)but it good that u wount do it again. ]
its bad for you to make your self to throw up. try not to do it again.
your stomach jkust shunk for like about a week or 2 weeks becasue it took some stuff out that you needed and now its just porcessing it again ]
hey, well your body is probobaly ajusting itself from when you through up. so you might seem not hungrey for a little bit but as a week or so goes bye you regular appitite will come back.

What is happening is that your body is going through some changes, your metabolism as well which is affecting for less food to be digested into your body. You must seek a doctor to give you a check up and see how your body is functioning just to make sure that nothing else is going on which hopefully not and this happened to my brother who couldn't eat as much before either because he started to want to lose weight, did but nothing bad was wrong with him. ]
OK heyy dont worry no one here is going to critize you i really dont think thats right if some one would but anyways i am high sure it is not possible for your stomach to shrink this probably just a temperary thing for your diet things will certently go back to normall so0on your stomach was probably just confused by your vomiting insedent it was something new but dont worry this is only temporary...hope i helped you babe ]
Hiya,
Firstly, no good advicenator will criticise you - that's not what people are here for - they are here to give advice, not judge.
It's a fact that the less you eat the less you need.
Your stomach probably has temporarily shrunk - at the end of the day all it is is a big muscle - if you didn't excersize for a week or did less excersize than normal - even for a short period of time your muscles would deteriorate - this is what your tummy has done!
You have nothing to worry about, just (and I know I'll probably sound like your Mom and Dad saying it but I'm gonna anyway! Lol) DON'T do it again!
Just eat what you feel comfortable with eating and you'll be back to normal in no time!
