My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

yes you can its great. i have have an ipod and alls i have to do is upload the song into my library like any other song.

Is there a proper way to deal with online harrassment? Can something be done? This needs to stop.

what you need to do is print it out and you can take it to the comps and they can press charges.. if you can keep it up on your comp the exact way you see it (like if its in an email or im) so that the comps can come trace it back if its that big of a deal... and keep all the info on it like dates, times everything

I was supposed to move in with my dad next week because of my stepdad and I not getting along at my mom's house. It was all set and everything. My dad even already has a room cleaned out for me.

i would say anything dark or white looks good! like dark dark blues and when i wear whites it makes my skin look 10x darker than it really is

Tomorrow is a trip with my friends to a really fun theme park. We've been planning it for a long time, as a celebration of our graduation. Now I'm on my period and I really don't want to have to miss the trip! It was my idea and it's going to be so fun! Mom says I can just avoid water rides and I'll be fine but the water rides are the best part!!! And I usually feel really gross & sick when I'm on my period. Besides, everyone will pressure me to do it & call me no fun if I won't ride them. I'm embarrassed to say "oh I'm on my period" in front of my guy friends. That's nasty. I'd use a tampon but those never work for me. I leak every freakin' time! So I don't know whether I should skip it or go & feel left out & sick. I'm so afraid the day will be diappointing. I hate being a girl.

Try wearing a tampon (a heavier one that usual) then wear a mini pad with it just incase you leak because you really wont feel it. or you can try just changing your tampon every 2 hours or so to prevent leaking

whever i wear pajamas with tank tops it always looks weird cause i have no bra on and i feel uncomfortable looking like that. i found this reaaaaaaally cute pjs but i dont want to get them cause it has a tank top. how can i solve this problem? please dont says camis cause i cant find any cute cami pjs that i like.

I would wear a bra to bed.. you can even get one of those kinda training bras that are like sports bras but look like reg bra kinda things.. like the real soft ones and it will have a cami kinda effect and wont bother you while you sleep

I was just kind of curious. One of my friends told me that her mom said we should put ICE next to any numbers in my phone that I would want someone to call if anything happened to me. ICE standing for In Case of Emergancy. Well my question is, do cops, firefighters, and paramedics know about that? Like will they actually look through your phone for the ICE numbers, or is that just something that her mom wanted us to do? Have any of you ever heard of doing that? Because I have ICE next to my parents, siblings, and a few of my closest friends. I also always have ID on me, not that that really matters.

But I was really just wondering, do other people do the "ICE" thing, or is it just a waste of time?

that would be a smart thing to do.. in most cases they will prob look at your phone provided they know how to work it! you best bet is to maybe put a sticker on the back with a number incase of an emergency. also get photo id. its like 10 bucks and its well worth it. i have a state on and its basically like a drivers liciences but you cant drive with it. SO in ethics class last week we learnt that statutory rape is basically when someone has forced sex with a minor (under 16) and it could apply when 2 minors involve themselves, etc, etc. We also learnt that you will immediately go to jail until the trial.


My question is:
When a girl gets pregnant and she had sex but she's say 13 or 14, do they just deliever the baby? I see girls like 15 and 14 with babies and I'm wondering...don't the doctors of nurses ask them questions....cause that's statutory rape right, so can the mother be jailed or the dad? ...does anyone know if this happens or they just deliever the baby no questions?

well charges are never filed unless the girl or their parents file them because for all we know they could have wanted to have sex and what not. And there are privacy rights and doctors can't just bring that up.. yes its acward but they can't just be like so did you get raped.

Also if the person is a minor they wont nec. be put in jail for raping another minor because of their age.. and lack of proof (because most minors can't keep a story straight)

but every case varies there is so set thing for everyone

yesterday, i was plucking my eyebrows, and it was taking too long, so i got lazy and tried to shave around them.BIG MISTAKE!i shaved off the top corner of my eyebrow, and then had to fix it so i didnt have a chunck missing.so now one eyebrow is shorter than the other.and its a noticable amount shorter.what should i do?should i just wait for it to grow out and then have a proffesional fix them?or what.please help!i think it looks stupid,and i want to try to fix it as soon as possible!

What i would do is just pencil them in... when you shave them it only takes a day or 2 for them to start growing back in so its not worth you going to a professional.

You know how you can get a perm that keeps your hair curly for a very long time? Is there a way that can keep your hair straight for that long?

well you can get it relaxed (which is like a perm but instead of making it curly they make it straight) but unless you are african american i don't recommend it! it was a waste of my $60 plus my hair was always all dryed up (but it was never really straight). Also there is some japanese thing you can get done whcih permadently straightens your hair, until it grows out (Ive heard it works) but its like $300

How can I, a female under the age of 16, help abused, neglected, homeless, etc. animals? Every shelter that I;ve heard of requires you to be 16 to voulunteer and I cannot adopt another pet. (I've asked, pleaded, begged). I'm thinking of raising money or donating supplies and setting up boxes at random places around my community (continue with what my girl scout troop started) Any advice or suggestions?

try to get your parents involoved.. i know the dog shelter i volunteer at you have to be 16 unless you have a parent so my whole family comes and we walk all the dogs and stuff. Also supplies are always desperatly needed and that would be a huge help. Also maybe you can raise money to help build a new facility?

I think freckles look very pretty! but most foundations will help cover them or make them less noticeable but i think you are too young for foundation and should let your freckles show!
