i have medium brownish/reddish/golden colored hair with brown eyes and slightly tan skin. i have trouble finding the right clothing...everything looks boring on me! what are some good ideas for fashion styles/colors that would look awesome on me??

Well, if you think that everything looks boring on you then go for bright colours, green is very fashionable right now, and you could also go for turquoise and yellow.
White will look good too, and i often find that navy suits people with your colour hair (i have a friend like it, with sort of blondey/brown/red hair), you could go for for a navy and white striped top as this is totally fashionable and would really suit you.

i would say anything dark or white looks good! like dark dark blues and when i wear whites it makes my skin look 10x darker than it really is

well, depending on your body type there are many different kinds of clothes you can wear. but color-wise, i think light blue and green sometimes look good on people who are on the tan side. and for styles, i always thought those "baby-doll" shirts from abercrombie/hollister looked cute with denim skirts on girls with similar features you. here's what i mean ..

^ that type shirt with any denim skirt, and it's always cute to accesorize with a belt. i dont know if that's your sort of style, but i always thought that looked cute =]
