Slow LimeWire
I'm trying to make my boyfriend the new Godsmack CD. Well, I'm downloading it off of LimeWire, which means doing it one song at a time. How do I make it faster? And they all get to a certain point, stop, and say Waiting On Busy Host, How do I fix that? Is there a way to choose a faster one? Please Help!!

Try downloading files that are closer to the top of the list. Also, when it is waiting on busy hosts, just wait and the song will eventually download.

I find torrents much better for large downloads. Bitcomet is very good for this.
(You do know that it's illegal, don't you?)

whenever downloading, try to download the ones with cable/dsl and there will be another section that says "#" click on that so it will be in order from highest to lowest and click on the number with the highest because that means it has more downloading hosts

Ignoring the whole illegalness thing ;-)...
1. Make sure that you're downloading one from the right connection speed.
2. If a particular download is sucking, switch to a different one.
3. Try again in the morning, preferably early. The system tends to be faster than.
4. Check the internet and other music downloading places.

If you are downloading a whole album you should try using torrents(www.bitcomet.com or www.bittorrent.com)

well 1 you can do more songs than once at a time but anyways
your comp might be either too slow or they are just bad links.. sometimes that happens to me like everysingle bon jovi song i wanted didnt work but then i went back the next day and they were fine.. try back in a few days and see if its alright

On the right side theres a column and it says T1, T2, T3 or higher, or Cable/Modem. Try downloading the ones that says T3 or Higher cause those will download faster then the rest =D

It is true that you are somewhat limited, by not only your internet connection, but also by the person that has the file.
You can download Limewire Companion 3.07, which among other things, says that it speeds up your downloads. I use it, and believe that I see a difference.

You can't really make it go faster. It depends on what connection you have. Like DSL & T3 go faster than Dial Up.
