I'm trying to make my boyfriend the new Godsmack CD. Well, I'm downloading it off of LimeWire, which means doing it one song at a time. How do I make it faster? And they all get to a certain point, stop, and say Waiting On Busy Host, How do I fix that? Is there a way to choose a faster one? Please Help!!
itsz_JESS answered Tuesday June 6 2006, 1:33 pm: whenever downloading, try to download the ones with cable/dsl and there will be another section that says "#" click on that so it will be in order from highest to lowest and click on the number with the highest because that means it has more downloading hosts [ itsz_JESS's advice column | Ask itsz_JESS A Question ]

1. Make sure that you're downloading one from the right connection speed.
2. If a particular download is sucking, switch to a different one.
3. Try again in the morning, preferably early. The system tends to be faster than.

Try downloading the ones that says T3 or Higher cause those will download faster then the rest =D [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]

You can download Limewire Companion 3.07, which among other things, says that it speeds up your downloads. I use it, and believe that I see a difference.
