Hey! I was wondering if anyone new any "Inspirational" Friendship type songs. The songs I have so far are; Wind Beneath My Wings, I Believe I Can Fly, I Turn To You, Live Like You Were Dying, Ask Me, Coming Out Of The Dark, Hero, Angel, Angels Among Us, Angels In Waiting, I'll Be (By Reba). I know not all of those are Inspirational songs. But if you know any that someone can realate to because of a hard time. Like Ask Me is about sexual abuse, or songs about anxiety or depression post them too! Thanks!

What are some good ways to get stronger so it's easier to do back-handsprings??? I can do them with a spotter but then when I try doing them by myself, I land on my head all the time. Help me please!!!

start by doing them down a cheese mat by yourself...any arm strength or leg strength to jump would also help - advice: keep your arm straight and by your ears!!

Is there any way to change the ratings other people have given you? Is there someone I can ask? Some of my ratings are SO unfair, ex:
- A person asked if Dickies would still be in style by the middle of the year. I said yes and also gave them a link for a new style of Dickies dresses. Turns out it was a guy, but how was I supposed to know?
- Instead of giving someone a long list of picture websites, I gave them my one favorite.
- Someone put "my head hurts!", don't know how THAT didn't get deleted but anyways, I made a joke about it and they rated me 1. Wish I could rate them back.

Thanks for reading my dumb question. :) Has this happened to anyone? It really annoys me and wrecks my feedback.

yeah, i kno - some ppl get offended by the truth nd others don't realize that u were giving them all the info u have to help them and that if u knew they would be inconsiderate and give u a 1 then you wouldn't have even tried....just remember that you're on this site to help and not to get high ratings! it's nice to get 5's and know that you've helped, but advice is more important than ratings

I'm going to be a junior in high school and I have no idea what I want to major in, where I want to go, or even what I really want in a college. How can I start narrowing down the search and decide where I want to apply??

hey, i'm gonna be a senior this year so i kno what you're talking about completely! lol, i finally kno which schools i want to apply to! the first thing to do is decide how far away you want to go and then you'll have an area to look in...then use your estimated sat scores to decide what league of colleges you qualify for...and, of course, money is an issue and private schools cost more so unless ur parents have money or you may get a scholarship, you may want to look at public schools - then again, don't rule any school out based on cost! cuz u can always do work-study and stuff like that...look at which schools have good reputations, especially in the areas taht interest you ~ in most schools, you can go in undecided so definitely don't stress about not knowing what you want to major in...other factors include size, location (urban, rural...), single sex or coed.,sports teams............

really, tho you shouldn't be worrying just yet, cuz i definitely didn't know this time last year ~ this summer i went to visit schools for tours and that helped me a lot cuz u can see the campus and ask questions...my mom helped me a lot by going onto collegeboard.com and you can compare colleges and find colleges similar to the ones that interest you....it'll all come together!! and don't be shy about talking to your guidance counselor ~ that's their main job!

i have a really close relationship with my friend mike he's not a boyfriend or anything and i dont see him that way at all, but he's like an older brother to me and ever since we became friends he has been. well, i USED to dress punk, and he does now too...and well im prep now but he hasnt seen me...im afraid that hes not gunna wanna be my friend anymore since im dressing prep, i mean maybe he still will but maybe he wont...i just have worries, what do i do?

Well you see I really honestly don't care for her as a friend anymore. As, I said in the previous question, we are no longer friends, and we will never be again, because i know she will never change. Her parents know and have put her into rehabs. She just comes home and does the same shit, and lies and covers it up. I know my sister is not dumb and wont do that shit, and I'm glad of that. I think she is a bitch. She gets on my damn nerves now. I used to feel sorry for her and want to help her, but you cant help someone who doesnt want to be helped. she would tell me she wanted to stop and then like minutes go get high. I know that she really doesnt want to stop. I think its a shame that something is thought was just "all in fun" is now taking over her life. But, i can no,longer feel any sorrow for her, I think she is just stupid. I don't wanna be her friend. And despite the things she did, and the fact that I no longer like her, I had no problem with my sister hanging with her. I am not the jealous type. But, I just never thought that she would basically encourage my sister to do drugs when she knows that its wrong. I'm just glad that my sister is smart enough to say no. I wanna call her up and tell her " You fuckin little junky, If I ever find out that you are doing drugs around my sister or offering her drugs ever again, so help me god you won't have to worry about the drugs killing you"... thats just how mad I am. Now that you know more about how I feel, what do you think I should say?

i dunno if calling her up and telling her off is the best idea - from what you've told me, i don't think it's going to do any good or get any reaction from the girl, i mean it's totally acceptable that you're majorly pissed, but i don't think that telling the girl off will give you the satisfaction that you want it to...however, if you ever meet the girl in person and she rubs you the wrong way, then i think that would be the ideal time to blow up on her!

one more thing, what does your sister see in this girl to want to hang out with her?

I am 17/f. I had this childhood friend of like 8-9 years. We were best friends, but then we hit a ofrk in the orad and she turned to drugs about a year and a half ago. When I fisrt found out that she did it, I was pissed and told her that she was dumb and shouldnt do it again. She told me she wouldn't, that she was just tryingit so I gave her the benifit of the doubt. Her and I stopped being friends about 6 months ago. She started becoming really selfish,and just always pissing me off. She was telling me she was clean but I know her too well and could tell by how she wasacting that she was lying to me. Now she hangs around with my younger sister who is 16. I just found out the other day, that just as I thought, she is still using. My sister told me she snorts heroin in front of her all the time and that she is getting really bad. She also told me that she offered her soem to try but my she told her no. The fact that she had the nerve to offer my sister drugs really pisses me off. I feel like calling her up and telling her off. I have been debating on doing this for like the past 3 days. I cant seem to stop thinking about it. I understand that she is ruining her life but why would she encourage someone else to do the same? I wanna call her or so bad! I am so mad! I don't know what to do.

i think you need to first talk to your sister and find out why she's hanging out with this girl...i'd get your sister's permission or at least tell your sister if you plan on confronting this girl - but i definitely think you shouldn't just let it happen...what kind of family is this girl raised in?? i kno it's a hard choice, but you might want to look into finding some help for her if you think she has a problem (and it sounds like she does)

if you stop drinking soft drinks, will that help you lose weight

i think if you start with that and then you take more little steps like stopping chips then stopping ice cream...you'll eventually be helping yourself out a lot!

i think ne religion is good because it raises you with morals and gives you somewhere to turn to when you lose all hope...i don't think it matters much what you believe, but it is comforting to believe in something

Hi I have a quesiton for all of you.

I'm 14 a gurl and for 8 years of my life (sence I was 5) I have been dancing. Jazz, Tap, Ballet all of it. I quit each one until I had Tap left. I will be honest I was one of the best dancers in each class I was in But I quit because I couldn't take my mothers constant complaining about the money and the time it took her to take me there and wait. I finaly gave in to her the begining of this year and I quit Tap also. after I quit everything reminded me of tap. I cried myself to sleep I missed it that much. I have made up my mind to go back when dance starts again but I having doubts that I won't be excepted by all the other dancers. and my mom is starting her complaining already and I haven't even found my tap shoes yet. I was wondering what all of you think?

P.S. I was in the highest class you could go (Advanced 2) so I was really good but I really am afraid that I can't take what all are going to say.

i kno what you mean - my parents had the same problem with gymnastics because it's an expensive sport and you train like 23 hours a week, and i also kno what you mean bout going back to it bcuz i went back to gymnastics after a knee surgery and i felt kind of out of place...when you go back, just make sure that ppl no you are doing it for yourself and not to impress neone else or to be the best...also, i don't kno much about tap dancing, but if you are frustrated at first, don't give up! give yourself time, and it will most likely get back to the way you remember it!

if you still want to answer them, then reread the question pretending it isn't about you - then you'll be able to give advice from a different perspective ~ answer the way you would answer the question if someone you didn't kno had asked it!

omg im sooo nervous for school to start!! im going to a school different from all my other friends in a new town! what can i do to calm myself down and maybe make this a more enjoyable expierence (school)?!

i went to a new school in 9th grade and i was nervous 2, but after a few weeks or so you'll kno how ppl truly are, so the first impression doesn't matter that much nemore...don't worry about it, things will work out :) be nice 2 everyone tho so that u don't a bad rep and don't gossip
