I am considering taking a jazz class during fall. A few years ago, i took about 1 year of beginning jazz and i took ballet when i was very little (if that even matters). I'm wondering if i should because #1, i'm not too flexible, and #2, i'm not too skinny...i'm not fat, i just don't have that really tall and slender body type. The other option is hip hop...i've taken 2 years of that. But I want to get back into jazz because i like the more lyrical style it has. So, my question is...which dance class should i take? Would jazz not be right for a person like me?

don't worry about having the right body type or whatever for jazz. (unless you were older and trying out for some company, but thats another story) if you like jazz, you should definitely do it. i take it, and i love it. i'm pretty flexible, but it really doesn't have to do with jazz. i'd say that's more ballet. and since you've already taken hip hop for 2 years, it would be nice to try something new. i think you'd like it, and if not you could always go back to taking what's comfortable to you

Alright, so I'm going to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time EVER sometime this week, and I'm a little nervous.

1) How long will it take?

2) How do they do it?

3) On a scale one to ten, ten being highest, how bad did it hurt for you the first time?

4) What age did you start getting yours waxed/plucked, etc?

5) How often will I need to get them redone or whatever?

Plz help, I'm a little confused, and really nervous.

1. about 10 minutes depending on your eyebrows

2. they put wax on with like a popsicle stick thing then put a strip over it, and press down then pull.

5. umm i guess it depends on how fast it grows back, but i'd say like every other month

it really doesn't hurt much.. i think tweezing is worse. but your skin will be red and maybe a little irritated so don't plan on going anywhere right afterwards

that was my questionnn. lol well it's basically a bracelet that looks like it's made of thick string, braided and stuff and over time it shrinks with salt water. lots of surfers wear them.

ehh probably not. you have to be really good in order to make high school sports, so experience is important. you never know though, you could have a natural talent and if you practice a lot this summer and have someone good at basketball teach you the basics and help you practice, you could make it maybe.

I've read recently that putting a ocld spoon over your eye helps get rid of bags under eyes.
How do you do this && does it really help?

yup it works. the coldness makes the puffiness go down. you just put spoons in the freezer for like a half hour them put them over your eyes. you can also buy an eye mask that you freeze. just use anything cold basically

because most people look at cheerleader in the teen movie kind of way.. bitchy and stuck up. but that's not always the case. sure, there are some cheerleaders who think they're better than everyone else, but i also have some friends who are cheerleaders and they're cool.

and i am not that pale at all. at alll. does anyone of any like good photo editer thing, to make myself look tanner? and thats easy to understand, haha. or a good camera that i can just buy, that won't have me turn out pale.

well, it's probably the flash that is making you look pale. there's probably a setting on your camera that will make the flash turn off. like on mine there's a picture of a mountain, that's the no flash setting. it might make the picture look a little worse though

you do the same thing as if you were to put a picture on your myspace page. you right click the picture you want and click properties, then copy the address, then in the captian box for your picture you put and that's itt

Im 16 and my dad died when i was 8 and my mom recently got married to a guy who used to be in the army. I have two sister and now i have 3 step brothers. He is like way strict and his kids are like perfect angels but me and my sisters have never really been raised that strict and for lack of better words are pretty wild. my mom never really punished us for things and now this guy is trying to control us and take over our lives. What should i do?

well my friend is kind of in a similar situation. her mom is pretty laid back and her dad (they are divorced) is really cool, hes a tatto artist and stuff. anyway so she got remarried a few years ago to this guy, who in my opinion is a total jerk. he yells at her and tries to tell her what to do, meanwhile he's super nice to their toddler.

i would try talking to your mom about it, and maybe she could talk to your step dad. he's probably just used to how he raised his kids and doesn't know anything different. if you're open about it, maybe he could comprimise with you and your sister and try not to take over your lives

ok, so this is going to sound really nasty, but my heels are completely dry and cracking.no matter how much lotion i put on them,they're still dry. i swim alot so i'm guessing thats the reason, but its just really nasty and i just want my smooth feet back =(

try using a pumice stone, or one of those file things. you can find them basically anywhere, check like drugstores and stuff. after you get the dead skin off, put a rich lotion on. there's this lotion that has some vaseline in it i think, so put that on at night and your feet should soften up a bit

well first of all people on here couldn't help you because we don't know them.. don't pick people just based on looks, that's pretty shallow. but pick whichever one you fit together with i guess. second, sorry but i don't think either of them are pretty. that's just my opinion

nope not at all. i'm 4 inches shorter than you and only like 5 pounds lighter. you're supposed to add 5 pounds for every inch, and i'm not overweight at all so don't worry about it i'm sure you're fine

This summer my boyfriend and I want to go to the beach together. The lake is really disgusting, so don't suggest to go swimming in it. The beach does have a boardwalk and lots of paths to go roller blading, so we plan on doing that. There's a little cafe there, but that's about it.

Any ideas for stuff we could do together? Just the two of us? I wanted to lay in the sun and read together, but I don't want to just do that the whole time.

you could always walk along the shore, that would be nicee. or build a sand castle, volleyball, differnt games. think of random things and have fun

Well I get a lot of discharge and it's really annoying! I don't wear a pantyliner because I have a good relationship with my mom and all, but not THAT kind of relationship, so I think it would be awkward to tell her that I need it. Also, does discharge have ANYTHING to do with your period and is it necessary to wear pantyliner? Thanks to all who answer the question!

well if you're not ready to ask your mom to get pantyliners, you can always use kleenex folded up. it works the same basically. and i think discharge comes like a year before your period, so yeah it does have to do with it.

my calves are huggee, i hatee them.
what exercizes can i do to make them smaller.

exercides will just make them bigger. the only way to get rid of muscle is to not work out. or it could be just naturally how your legs are and you can't do anything about it

I forget what the flavors were.. but their colors are YELLOW, ORANGE, PINK, OR RED. pick any one of those 4 colors. please dont say something else like "green" because that wont help me at all.. its for this project i have to do in school. thanks for helping! ♥

I got this really really bad sunburn, and I cant even move. It is on my chest, its like the bathing suit line. It is red, as dark as a tomato. I am normally really pale, so its that much more obvious. It hurts really bad, so is there anything I can put on it so it will go away? Thanks

yeahh that happened to be a few years ago on my chest. it was disgusting, and you're right it hurts so bad. for now put aloe gel on it a lot or lotion with aloe in it, that should cool it a little bit and maybe help with the redness. other than that you really can't do much, but try not to peel it because it'll scar. and make sure from now on you put lots of sunscreen on that area because it could be dangerous if you burn it again

Ok I feel stupid for asking this but are girl boxers worn like instead of an underwear or do you wear underwear underneath? Can you wear it as shorts?

no, i wouldn't wear them as boxers because they'd get all bunched up unless you wear baggy pants. plus, most don't have lining so they really wouldn't do anything as underwear. i wear mine as pajamas
