LOL_x0x answered Thursday June 28 2007, 12:33 pm: Of course.
Just practice, practice, practice!
Work on your shooting, and defense.
Play games with your friends.
Do you ahve any on the team?
Get them to help you out :]
Also, I'd reccomend doing some running.
orphans answered Thursday June 28 2007, 10:04 am: if you want to do that, youd have to work really hard.
i play fh, and at our school, if you didnt play freshman year, you have no chance of making it, unless your really good
it is possible to be on your basketball team, but if you have no experience, thats hard
you would need to take a few summer camps for basketball, and get your mile time down to like a 6:10-6:30 at the highest
if you do that you have a good chance of making the team [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
khadiya answered Thursday June 28 2007, 4:26 am: Practice. Study the sport. You want to know what someone is talking about when they say pick and roll. lol. Watch it on tv so you can imatate what you see. [ khadiya's advice column | Ask khadiya A Question ]
christina answered Thursday June 28 2007, 2:50 am: It's very much possible, but it's going to be diffucult. Just practice the sport, try to learn as much about it as possible & put your mind to it. If you practice a ton, you'll get better. If the kids on the team rag on you for not being good, don't down yourself about it. They probably weren't good when they first started either. Have fun! Teenagerr answered Thursday June 28 2007, 2:05 am: Hah. I joined my high school basketball team this year with no experience, and I'm a junior. It's possible, yes, but it's hard. There's not much you can do except for practice. You have to do well in the practice's or else the coach won't play you. Don't get intimidated by the other girls. One of them tried to be mean to me because I was new, but I ignored it. :]
