Sunburn

Question Posted Monday June 4 2007, 8:53 pm

I got this really really bad sunburn, and I cant even move. It is on my chest, its like the bathing suit line. It is red, as dark as a tomato. I am normally really pale, so its that much more obvious. It hurts really bad, so is there anything I can put on it so it will go away? Thanks<3

plus i got stung by jellyfishes,
all you need to do is put aloe vera
like the natural plant thing on your
chest for a while everyday and it would
get better
i hope you get better,

alright, i got sunblisters like 5 times so i know how bad this hurts, and im really pale so the sunburn from the blisters showed up alot, okkk. take noxemia [sp?] and rub it all over, but dont rub it in , its cooler on top of your skin haha. and um, i dont know if this was for the blisters or not but fill the bathtub up iwth water, and pour some baking soda in, and get in the bathtub and just soak in there.. i dont know.. it felt good on my sunburn haha. i dont know, call your doctor and ask for tips [ thats what my mom did ] and explain its JUST a sunburn, not the icky blisters, as for the standing out theres nothing you can really do, your basically over-cooked from the sun and when you have food and you burn it you cant really fix that, but like the other person said, dont peel / pick at it.. it'll scar and look awful. sorry, feel better. hope i helped. xo britnee.

yeahh that happened to be a few years ago on my chest. it was disgusting, and you're right it hurts so bad. for now put aloe gel on it a lot or lotion with aloe in it, that should cool it a little bit and maybe help with the redness. other than that you really can't do much, but try not to peel it because it'll scar. and make sure from now on you put lots of sunscreen on that area because it could be dangerous if you burn it again

Get Aloe Vera and slather it all over the burns. It makes it feel a lot better and your skin will heal faster.

Banana Boat makes really good Aloe Vera skin products. The stuff you want looks like green gel.

I have skin just like yours. Whenever I get a really bad burn, I put the Aloe Vera on it a few times a day and it will become a tan withint one or two days. It may or may not do that for you, but it WILL stop the intense burning.
