I dont see why people have to post there opionions on smoking when you ask a question about it, but anyways, Your pupils do get smaller when you smoke and sometimes bloodshot. Your eyes get bigger when you do extasy or shrooms.

For the past month or so I've been trying to eat healthier and trying to only have like one junk food a day. for example only eating 1 candy bar that day. or only eating 3 oroes a day. (just a little something sweet for the day but not too much) but friday i had so much junk food. but then saturday i went to the Y so i felt better but i told myself that i did a horrible thing and not to do it again. (hah) well today i just ate a little bit of a cake that my grandmother made for my brother and I. and now i just feel horrible. i can't stan it after i eat something bad but yet tasty super good i feel horrible i almost wanna kick myself int he head for doig it. but when i'm attcally eating it i'm lik oo its soo good i'm soo glad i at it. and then after i'm like stupid why the hell did you eat that?!
and i have no clue what to do to stop myself i hate that when i eat a little junk food i feel soo guilty when i'm eatier (i think) healthier than i've ever eaten. i just don't know what to do..

It might be best for you to cut out junk food all together if once you start eating it you cant really stop. Another good solution is to just not have it around in the house. You cant junk out if theres not junk food there.

I will not say what I believe in for abortion because that may influence your answer..but someone brought this to my attention...
do you consider this an exception for abortion..if an 11 year old girl got pregnant(raped) and her hips couldn't support the baby. Do you believe that when a girl has her period she is ready to give child birth even though her age may not be? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. (link)

Just because your body has your period doesnt mean your ready to bear a child, esepically if your a small girl. I believe if someone is raped, abortion is an okay solution. It wasnt her choice to get pregnant, someone else sadly made that dicision for her. Plus at 11 years old? Her choices are really ether have an abortion or give up her future for something horrible that happened to her. Frankly, if I was in her situation I would get an abortion in a heartbeat.

No foods have a significant effect on your metabolism to make you loose weight. But eating in general does. Small, frequent meals will boost your metabolism while still getting the nutrients you need.

I gained about 15-20 pounds over the past 3 or 4 months. Now, I am 140, 5'6". I feel so fat! I have tried to lose the weight but I just don't have the motivation. I exercise plenty, but I eat even more, and I still gain weight. How can I find the motivation to eat less? (link)

well maybe eating less isnt the key. Its what your eating. Try to eat foods low in fat if you feel hungry, also try and eat small meals more frequently to prevent snacking and boost your metabolism.

Yes. It doesnt matter if you take vitamins. You are not getting your daily intake that you need. Celery provides almost no calories. If your trying to drop pounds fast, this is not the way to do it. Usually when people go on extreme diets. they gain the weight back when they go off them. I suggest regular exercise and a low fat diet.

Okay, well Im 16. I'm 5'6 and 130lbs. The doctor tells me my weight should be 140 for my height and that Im actually underweight, but at the same time, all my weights concentrated in my stomach, hips, and thighs, so I think I'm on the chunky side. Anyways, I just recently started going to aerobics class and trying to eat healthy. I want to lose 10 pounds, like within 2 weeks if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions. [starvation and pills and puking aren't something Im interested in]. I want to lose weight and keep it off. Thankss (link)

Well since you are not insterested in starving yourself or puking (which is goood!) but you probabily cant loose 10 pounds in 2 weeks without these methods. About 2-3 pounds every week is healthy. By working out and eating healthy, you are making this a perminate change in your life instead of starving yourself for awhile just to gain the weight back. Try doing sit ups with your legs at a 45 degree angle and then at a 90 degree angle. Lots of cardio will also help you trim off those extra pounds. Hope I could help!

My goal is to get rid of a little fat around my waist, tummy, and hips. I decided the best way to do it was to run a 5K! I've started training and am running about 3 times a week slowly working towards 3 miles. My dad is a runner and he told me that i won't see results in about 2 months concerning my fat.
I should also improve my diet. I eat well no soda no fatty foods but i have a large snack after school because im always starved. I really don't want to go on a low calorie low carb diet because they're so stupid. What are other options and how can i speed this weight loss up without going all gaga over my diet? (link)

do sit ups with your legs up at a 45 and then a 90 degree angle. This should help you tone up. Dont feel guilty about having a large snack after school, it all depends on what that large snack consists of. I suggest eating small meals more frequently instead of less often big meals. It keeps you from snacking and it will help you loose weight. I started eating small frequent meals, and my metabolism really speed up.

ok. i am 5'5 and im 123 pounds. it is spread over my body, so im proportioned..kinda. accept my stomach sticks out..alot and my thighs are bigger than i would like. what are some particular exercizes i could do to get rid of the fatty belly and the thighs?

Do situps with your legs at a 45 degree angle and then move them to a 90 degree angle. You stomach muscles have to support your legs more so you should tone up faster, also this works the muscles in your legs (mostly inner thighs) so it could help with that too. If these sit ups dont help you tone your legs, try some sort of cardio such as running or niking.

okay so Friday i got my first period and i didnt go to school. its really gross because its like a REALLY heavy flow and it is just so gross. i have pads like carefree original.. but i dont like them. i mean they dont work well and i keep getting stains and its so gross. i dont like the brand im using and find it so gross about like the flow and everything. and im so worried like i have school on monday and this is my first period. like what the heck am i suppose to do? like .. wear am i suppose to put the pad and stuff. i dont even want to use a pad but like i guess im kind of embarresed to ask my mom to go get me tampons. and even if i DID have tampons to try like firstly, i would have no idea what to do like to get them in and like when to change them ect. AND like what brand would be good because i have like sports and crap. this is so overwelming for me because its my first time. and ALSO i hate the feeling i have like when like theres a flow because i just like feel so dirty (and since i have been grounded for like a week i've been home alot) and i just like take a bath and stuff and i feel clean. like this whole thing is just ew.

I do suggest you wear a tampon. Pads are uncomfortable and in the way. Dont be embarassed to ask. Your mom has been through the same thing and should understand. I suggest getting tampax pearl. They have smooth tips and are very easy to insert. The main thing about getting a tampon in is to relax. If your muscles are tense down there, it will hurt ALOT to try to insert. Also, every box of tampons comes with a peice of paper showing you how to insert it exactly. Relaxation is the key. You can keep a tampon in for up to 6 hours but with tampax pearl, it has an absorbent string so when that string turns red, you should take it out and replace it. Hope I could help :)

Its normal to have odor down there even if you do have good hygene. When you shave, it is more of your own personal preference to shave everything off. Some girls do, some girls have a "landing strip" and some girls dont shave at all. If you want to shave it all off then do it, there isnt anything wrong with it.

everytime i shave my legs they burn for the rest of the day and start to get red dots all over them its horrible because it happens ALL THE TIME. any advice? (link)

This is razor burn. I suggest using a high quality razor, none of the disposable ones, like a venus razor and putting alot of shave gel on your legs. Skintaminte is a good brand to use.

just because you hate someone, doesnt mean that you have to be a little snitch. You cant really "report" him haha. The cops have wayyy better things to worry about than some kid whos smoked weed like 3 times. You cant even get addicted to weed. if you are concerned about his well being, which i doubt, tell his parents. They wont send him to juve and probabily wont even do anything about it at all if the police find out. Go ahead and "report", you will probabily get laughed at. Im giving you this advice so you dont have to learn the hard way (ie someone beating you up) that being a snitch will get you into more trouble than you need.

I have no friends. It would be impossible to try and tell me to "try and make some friends." Because I've been trying for years. I've been part of so many groups of friends, but sooner or later they've done something horrible to me, so I change groups of friends. Now, there is noone left in the school that I haven't tried to be friends with. I hate Lunch. Because I'm thin, the people at my table call me anorexic. And I just find people in general, EVERYONE is annoying to me. So lately I've been eating in the bathroom because thats how much I hate everyone. I also eat in the bathroom and skip my classes and sit in the bathroom because somehow, in every single one of my classes, I sit next to someone who's sick, and I don't want to get sick because a.) whowants to be sick? b.) my mom won't let me stay home if I get sick and c.) I can't work out.
But thats only half of my problem. Today I came home and I started to talk to my mom about my problems at school, like usual. But then she flipped out and yelled, "Stop complaining! Maybe you should just kill yourself because thats the only solution!" And THEN she took away the thing I love most- my exercise bike. She said that I can only work out 1 hour a day every OTHER day. (For no apparent reason.) It may sound weird, but I love to work out. I live for it. It gives me self confidence, and its one of my only hobbies.
I have been depressed, and I've thought of killing myself before. But now that my mom actually sugguested that I should kill myself, it makes me feel even worse. Especially since I'm being punished (exercise bike being taken away) just for being depressed. Is there any advice you can give me to help me make it through?
P.S. Do not sugguest that I see a therapist, or I will rate you a 1. My mom would probably hit me across the face and ground me for 10 years if I even mentioned the idea of getting professional help. Also we can't afford it. (link)

Well, about not affording a therepist, you can get it through your healthcare provider for free. But anyways, You dont want to hear this, but it sounds like your attitude is bringing you down. you said " everyone at my school is annoying" well, personally I wouldnt want to be friends with someone that thought I was annoying. You have to calm down about the sickness. If you are concerned,bring hand sanitizer and wash your hands frequently. Also if you feel a cold coming on you can take zicam to help prevent it. I understand you love working out, so do i. But working out everyday isnt healthy, your muscles need time to relax. It will be hard, but try to change your perspective and attitude on school. You cant blame everyone else for you not having friends. People dont want to be friends with someone that is extremely negitive. Eating in the bathroom to show how much you "hate everyone" only makes people ether a. not notice you exist or b. think your a negitive unsocial person. Try to open up, I understand you have been hurt in the past, but you cant let that bring you down, by doing that you are letting them win.

If you want to get healther, not just loose weight, I suggest working out at least 3 times a week and if you want to have some toning, dont go to an exterme with your diet, this means dont eat nothing at all, and dont just pile on the junk food. Eat a diet high in protein and calories to put on muscle. Tone and definition (not like womens body bulder status tho haha) are much more appealing to look at than super skinny girls. If you dont have access to a gym, do cruchnes with your feet at a 45 degree angle and try running. But this is easier at a gym with a ton of machines to work out on.

now i weigh 120 and i still want to lose weight.
i work out and stuff and do the same stuff i did to lose the last 30 pounds but i just cant seem to lose any more. i rly wanna weigh like 105-110 by the summer.

It sounds like you have reached the point were you just cannot loose anymore weight. This happens when people have lost a significant amount of weight. I would suggest not looking at the scale so much actually. You will probabily never be 105. But you can LOOK like you weigh 105 by really toning up in the gym. Muscle weighs more than fat, so by turning fat into muscle you will look like you lost weight even if you might have gained some from muscle. Also, a high calorie, low fat diet will help.
