Question Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 9:47 am
My goal is to get rid of a little fat around my waist, tummy, and hips. I decided the best way to do it was to run a 5K! I've started training and am running about 3 times a week slowly working towards 3 miles. My dad is a runner and he told me that i won't see results in about 2 months concerning my fat.
I should also improve my diet. I eat well no soda no fatty foods but i have a large snack after school because im always starved. I really don't want to go on a low calorie low carb diet because they're so stupid. What are other options and how can i speed this weight loss up without going all gaga over my diet?

ONE SOLUTION: SIT UPS.
do like 100 for about a week or two every day and then it will start to become easy so you have to kick it up to about 200 ... and then 300 .. and so on.
keep running tho.
and when you do sit ups, make sure you hold yours ears with your hands because it keeps you from cheating.
and jion the local ymca.
for foods... eat lean meats and yogurt.
