Q: I have no idea whose column this is. I saw this in my friend's favorite advice sites. So I'll ask you. There's this girl at my school, Natalie D., real b****. Okay, she always bumps into me and doesn't say sorry and thinks shes so cool cause she went out with 'Chris S.' or whatever his name is. She is being a real bother. What should I do!?

I don't think you can, but I think it qualifies as harassment. Report it to the mods, if they agree, they will ban the jerk. But the person's identity is a secret unless you become a higher level moderator. And the next time you bump into someone, be like "I am so, so, so sorry for bumping into you! Are you okay? You know, I've always admired you...that is such a cute shirt." That'll make them guilty, and they might even confess (eventually) ;)

Q: So one of my friends whi i don't like that much, but I am nice to, likes one of my best friends. The thing is that I like him too, when she told me i was speechless. she doesn't know that i like him, but what should i do? I'm thinking just leave it be?

Yeah, just let it go. One of you or both of you will get over this guy, or he will end up dating one of you. Whatever happens, happens. It's none of her business who you like and you don't know if maybe she'd get jealous if you told her and start World War III. Like I said she'll probably get over him.

Q: Ok well my friend and I when we were like 13 We kissed (she's a girl) because neither of us had been kissed before! But I realyy like this boy that likes me back a lot. We've gone on dates and kissed. But the kiss with him seem's real and when I kissed my friend it was just an example. Now my friend is OBSESSED with me, I mean I told her the kiss wasnt real and she is just obsessed! My boyfriend HATES her and now I'm starting to hate her! Please help!

If you feel like you hate her, just tell her nicely that you need some time apart. She's most likely questioning her sexuality, which is really hard to deal with, and I think a good friend would support her. Maybe try finding her a girlfriend? Or just tell her that you don't really mind if she wants to fantasize about you, but you don't want to be involved with her in that way. She might take that the wrong way, though. Basically, I think you should help her figure out what's going on with her (like if she really is going through a tough time with her sexuality), hook her up with someone, and spend some time away from her. Good luck, and don't stress, this isn't worth losing a friendship.

Q: Hey me and my friend are having a party and we want some good ideas because we dont want it to be way lame. nothing corny like clowns and baloons. but we are 14 and its a boy/girl party and its going to have alot of people so keep that in mind thanks.

Q: I want to make some extra money on the internet and I told my dad a few months ago this. He told me that he would ask the people at his office if it worked or not, but he still keeps putting it off! Um...it doesn't really work, unless you have a real legitimate business. Most money-making deals on the internet are scams, and scams are illegal. You're better off having a yard sale, making a lemonade stand, or getting a job. My friend Julian makes chainmail...you know like shirts and bags and stuff made of metal rings, like knights used to wear =) Maybe you could do that. Don't be so hard on your dad. It's really difficult working and raising a family, and he can't do everything. Basically I think if you want something, you should take the initiative yourself. And most importantly, don't get sucked into any scams!

Q: I've always wondered this...
Why do teens think that they "need" a boyfriend or girlfriend? What's so great about it?
I follow that at least in high school and college it's kind of a time to experiment with relationships and all, but I just don't really follow why teens think they "need" someone, especially since a lot of it seems to end kind of painfully for people.
Anyway, long story short, I'm confused about why people think it's something they need, why they seem to look so hard for it at a young age, and what's so great about having a boy/girlfriend.

Maybe because it seems like everyone does it...peer pressure, you know. Plus they're lonely and angsty and horny. And when your friend invites you to the mall and her boyfriend is there too and they spend the whole time kissing and trying to avoid you, you kind of wish that you had a boyfriend so you could kiss him in front of her...see how she likes it...bitch.

Well do you know where she hangs out? Like maybe at the mall or the park? If you have no idea how to contact her irl, I say get her screen name and plan to meet her somewhere. Then tell her in person. And give her a rose, unless she's allergic. And if you can write, give her a poem. If you can't write, find a poem somebody else wrote. Okay, first of all you are technically still a virgin (you weren't penetrated). As for the gossip stopping...well...I think it won't be such a big deal once you are a senior in high school, because most people will be having sex every night by that time. But it depends. Sometimes it can follow you for a really long time and you will always have a bad reputation. Only be worried if it really bothers you. You could ignore it, or you could just joke around with them and say, "Yah, I am a slut, and so are you...and so is everybody else in this whorehouse school." It might blow over or it might not, but have confidence and faith. You know you're not going to be a hooker, the people who matter know that too.

Q: i really need new clothes but i don't have a lot of money. what are some good clothing stores with websites and i can order from? i need some really cheap ones with cute clothes! also..are there any from other countries that ship in cheap? i want clothes that not everyone has so i can be different..but still in style and cute. tell me all you know!

Thrift stores, like Goodwill and Salvation army. It's cheap, it's pretty, and nobody else will have the same thing. It's been a while since I went to one...hm...now I really wanna go. -.^

Q: i want to start making my own clothes. does anyone know of any websites that can teach me how to make cute clothes that i would actually want to wear in public? i am pretty good at sewing and i have previous experience with making clothes.

I really don't think it's something you can/should learn on a website. You kind of need to take a sewing class at your school. And there are tons of patterns for really amazing clothes that are very wearable in public. I made pants once ^^ Good luck.

Q: i'm rele freaked out by this one techer cuz he always is like makin fun of kids in a funny way, but it's not funny...so yea. And well, he is rele loud and strict and likes to yell at u b/ he thinks it's funny and cool. I was absent friday and needa make up a test, and i kno when i go to him tues. (when we get bac from school) afternoon...he'll try to be cool in front of his class and yell at me for being absent and try to make a fool outta me until my face turns red. Hehe. Well, he doesn't really mean it. I know it's hard, but you should try to lighten up and when he gives you bullshit just smile and joke with him. Like if he says "Why weren't you here?" say, "Because I was in my basement making plans to overthrow the government." He probably does this to everyone, just don't take him seriously and it will be okay. And on the plus side, school is almost over. Except you will be faced with rude people your entire life, I think you should use this opportunity to learn how to deal with it. Good luck!!

Q: Ok, my girlfriend is pregnant and she's really worried about it. We're both 19 and this wasn't planned or anything. We talked about it for a long time and we both agreed that we want to keep it. Her parents disowned her when she was 18 becasue she started to see me, because she was raised catholic and I'm not catholic. I felt that was rediculous because I have nothing against catholics and I was willing to join the church if it meant I could be with her but she decided that she didn't want that...anyway her parents won't be helping us with her pregnancy and with the baby so we're on our own. (my mother is dead and I've never met my father) I know that she's going to be going through a lot with her pregnancy and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could help her get through with a little more ease. I'm working two jobs one full time and the other part time so I'm not around that much. But is there anything that I can do to be of any help to her or is there anything that I should look out for? I was also wondering about taking care of baby. If anyone has any tips about taking care of baby that would be a big help as well. Thank you for the advice and I will rate a five for any help.

Just be there for and make sure she knows you love her. Yes, making money for your family is important but it's also important to be with them. There is a book called Teen Dads by Jeanne Warren Lindsay that I think you and your girlfriend should read, and http://www.teendads.org.nz/teendads/teendads.html has some information. All you can do is love your girlfriend and your baby. There is a lot of hard work ahead of you, however, your entire life is changing. Jeanne Lindsay's book and a lot of other books will tell you a lot about that, and there are parenting classes you can take, and of course talk to your doctor.

What are you going to do with the baby once you have it? Sacrifice it to Satan? Sell it to the black market? I guess that can't be worse than learning how to type from his father...poor kid.

It depends on how old they are. Babies should get a lot of sleep, but adults should have like 7 hours of sleep. Teenagers should get about that, but we can't fall asleep until after midnight and then we have to wake up at 5:00 so it's impossible for us to get any sleep, that's why we are always dead in school.

That happens with all pregnant women. Their bodies are going through a LOT of changes, including changing hormone levels, and obviously, since there is a new baby coming she might think that you both will be paying too much attention to him or her to spend time with each other, which is kind of true for a while. Make sure you let her know that you think she is still beautiful and you will always love her. Maybe say that you've "lost your sex drive" because soon you will have a baby and you need to concentrate on that, and it's not all about sex. Besides, after the baby is born she won't be able to have sex for a while, and be prepared for depression on her part. Congratulations on the baby! =D
