Anyone know any cool ways to decorate my dorm room. I'm going to be a freshman and I'm in a double. I'm not really into posters or anything becuase i think they take up too much room on the way. I don't care either what my roomate will say because one half the room is mine and she is already puttin up a poster(s)? So far I got leies to put sumwhere. Thank you so much!!

I have a friend who I like very much, but who has a habbit of asking me to call her because she's feeling low at really incovenient times. I want to be there for her, but it becomes problematic when I feel I can't fairly say no when she asks me to call for a few minutes because she's feeling low, even it's like 1am. If it really was a few minutes, it would be fine, but once she has me on the phone she's impossible to let go, because every time I talk about having to be up in the morning she talks about how people always seem to let her down when she needs them. I do want to be there for her, but I do need to sleep too, and I simply can't survive on talking till 2am or later every night to get up at 7am. How can I be firm about needing to get off the phone without offending her? (link)

i have that problem to with my friend its like she uses me to make her feel better...and it sounds the same with you you need to just tell your friend that you will be there for her but cant be talk on the phone all the time or the lack of sleep will make it worse...how are you talking to her at 1 in the morning when she wants you to call anyways?

so last week I was at camp and this guy and I got to be pretty good friends. We exchanged CDs back and forth all week. He lent me some Grateful Dead that I absolutely loved. However, I don't know much about the album excepting that it was by the Grateful Dead and it was live. It had Sittin' in Limbo on it. If anyone knows any album that fits this description I'd be really grateful (muah ha ha) because I really enjoyed the Dead. (link)

I think you should totally go...if you really hate your life with your parents at least try living somewhere else...but you need to be prepared dont just suddenly leave with out anything but clothes and a toothbrush youll need money(dont steal from your parents that will turn into a mega huge mess)

okay from a girls perspective I think you should just think before you speak...always...what kind of stupid stuff? if its just your personality i guess you cant change it but if its your nerves making you just spit out words than you should try to talk to girls and get closer to the girls you feel most comfortable around if a girl intimidates you stay away for a while until you feel more comfortable with her try and be friends before girlfriend boyfriend...girls tend to fall for the guy friend...happens to me all the time...

Well you see me and my boyfriend have been going out for a little over a month now and we weren't aloud to kiss. I finally found out I was aloud to kiss and I told him. He keeps talking about making-out next time I see him but I don't want to rush into things. so basically i lost about 45 pounds since april and ive worked really hard and stuff so i am proud of myself because i am FINALLY comfortable with myself and my body..... but ive always had a ton of guy friends and now that im in the 125 lbs catagory (im 5'8 btw) a lot of my girl friends have been making me borrow their clothes cuz nothing i have fits anymore and im waiting to go back to school shopping, so my friends are letting me borrow their clothes... Well about a week ago my friends decide to make me actually dress up.. so they have me wear all their little abercrombie stuff and i kinda knew i looked like a slut but i was sorta happy because atleast i looked like a pretty slut... We ended up meeting with all our guy friends and they were shocked because i hadn't seen them since late may. They were just like oh my god you look hott... and really i am not used to that kind of attention... like im always the person to crack the jokes or do the crazy stunts but not the one all the guys are like heyyyy... Its always going to be the first things guys notice how you look...but you dont have to change who you are because of this reaction...but when you get your clothes make sure you arent just being your friends get clothes that match your attitude dont dress like a slut cuz guys are going to think thats who you are a slut and thats the reaction I think that you dont want...so make sure you stil feel good in the clothes but make sure you dont think your going to get the reaction from the guys that you dont want
