Backpacks
Ok I'm going into the 8th grade and I think I might need a backpack for this year. What kind of backpack and the namebrand should I get? I don't like messenger bags so exclude that. Thanks

jansports are GREAT!! they last FOREVER and they come in a milllion different colors i have a bright lime green one adn even thought its totally different i love it and everybody else does too! ps. dont try to fit in be your own person! lyk i did get a bright ass color!!

i think u should get a name brande one nothing from walmart or kmart or ne thing.. get ike sumthing that alota ppl have if u want to fit in.. or go for ur own style its up to u but i would get sumthing thats pretty poular that wont get u made fun of

get a jansport but dont get one with alota pockets becasue u wont use ne of them...get the one wit one pocket

I've had a black Jansport backpack that I got in 7th grade at Bob's Stores that has lasted until now (I'm going into 11th) and it's STILL going. And it doesn't hurt my back, and I have an ungodly amount of books to carry. I had an LL Bean one too, but it was a messenger and it hurt whatever side I was carrying it on. I use it for trips now though and it's really nice, so I would look at LL Bean too just not the messenger ones, go for the double strapped ones. Good call not going for the messenger bag.

I like the Jansport bookbags and the ones with the red squisshy stuff in them take away a lot of the weight. Kohls has them!!

Here's a great place to get in-style backpacks for this year. Go to www.pacsun.com or www.journeys.com and you will find name brand backpacks such as Roxy and Billibong! Believe me, they are really cute bags, i bought one myself!

Um get the jansport one big zipper then the little ONE zipper pocket in the front.. either (hot pink, red,black, or the corderoy [i dunno how to spell it..hopefully you get it]) There in.. where i live EVERYONE uses that brand and almost that kind.. girls mostly. You can get it anywhere.. i dunno where you live like state? so i dunno if you have these but.. Target?.. Big 5.. Sports Athority.. i dunno lots of places have em. -aMaNdA<3*

Well since your a little confused...you can go to a local supplies store (like k-mart) and search for a little while. You should go with something that YOU think is cool. Don't rely so much on namebrands and what other people think, what matters is what YOU think. Namebrands are nice and all but try to go with something that expresses your personality. lol

You can buy backpacks anywhere and everywhere. Most people just buy Jansport, it doesnt matter what color, or others just buy Nike or Adidas or some sports brand. =).

hey! well i think u should def. get a jansport cuz there the most popular school bags (well at least in pennsylvania..lol) and the most durable ones...they came in soo many cool colors and there big so all your books will fit! there so cool...you should def. buy a jansport...you can buy them at lyk any sproting good store or lyk and target or walmart or something..there all around..youll find them somewhere!

i LOVE babyphat..i'm gettin the backpack on there..www.babyphat.com..it's expensive but if you have the money and like babyphat then yah..
