iv'e been staying up super late all summer. but now that school is coming colser and closer. i need to go back to my regular scedule. but when i tryed stuff like staying up super late or waking up super early, i just end up falling asleep. how can i go back to my regulere schudle.

please respond fast

i'll rate a 5 no matter what

Just try going to bed at your usual school-year time. If you have camps during the week, try this out on the weekends. Try NOT to eat or drink caffeine within 2 hours of the time you're going to sleep. Also, wake up at your usual school-year time (set an alarm) and do some of the first parts of your morning schedule. For example, if you eat breakfast as soon as you wake up, or if you brush your teeth or shower, etc. This should help you get in the groove for school!!

my dad says that i can not get a straightner because it will ruin my hair and i will have disgusting hair when i get older and its just really bad for my hair. hes like "you can get the same effect by blow drying it" but i know that you cant because he has this picture in his mind of when i blow dried my hair a certain way once and it was SOOOOO puffy and ugly so i just put it up. and thats what hes thinking of! im like "no dad thats not it! my hair looks soo much different and better when its straightend! it is my hair and ill pay for it with my own money" he just gave me a look like he mite consider it. but i dont know, how can i he sure?

Okay, I straighten my hair A LOT, BUT your dad IS right. Straighteners not only straighten, but they suck all the moisture & oils out of your hair, and a couple years from now, your hair will be dried out. BUT, straightening your hair occasionally won't really do a great deal of damage. Explain that to your dad, but don't be stubborn and say "its my hair! its my money!" cause that typically leads to a no. Say that you're mature enough to pay for it and you understand the potential damage that could go on towards your hair & that you ALSO won't do it EXTREMELY frequently.

one of my GOOD guy friends that i am extremely close w/got a girlfriend. this girl has been on and off with this other guy 15 times and she cheated on him twice. and now that my friend has a girlfriend i'm almost jealous of her. i don't think i like him, but when i see them together i kinda feel ignored or something. but he's not ignoring me... i don't know if i actually do like him b/c i know they wont last long and it'll be a 1-2 week thing, but when he was single i didn't feel this way...

Hahah...looks like someone's a little jealous. ;) No big deal. These sorts of things happen. Once the guy is off the market, it makes girls like him MORE, which is what's happening to you. The #1 thing to do is to NOT let this affect your friendship. He's your bud, and in his opinion, nothing more. Which is okay, cause he has a gf, and he shouldn't want to be anything more, so you can't blame him there. BUT, maybe point out to him that this girl is cheating on him, but be SERIOUS. He may get mad, or say you're just jealous, but he'll eventually realize you're right, and come around. BUT, don't tell him to break up with her, cause that typically gets a guy mad, or offended. Hope this works out for you! ♥

ohk i was wondering if the neutragena acne scar remover cream thingy actually works? and if so then about how long does it take & how much does it cost & if i can get it in shoprite? thnx

Well, I'm not sure about Neutrogena, but ProActiv is pretty popular. It's not TOO expensive, and you can get it from infomercials on TV, or even online. Acne's tough, and you're gonna have to try a lot of different products till you find one that helps your own particular skin.

I really wanna scrunch my hair

i have thin straight hair

Is there any possible way i can scrunch it

If So HOW?? and What can i use??

Thanks♥

Scrunching hair....piece-a-cake!
Some of my friends use a diffuser (which is an attachment to your blow-dryer) that you can find at any RiteAid. =D Also, I suggest using different products like V05 Curl Mousse for a REALLY scrunched look, or L.A. Looks Gel for a wavy-scrunched look. Have fun!!! xo

I didn't really know what to put this under but..yea..Um whats that program you download to get like all those diffrent colors and stuff on aim?..thanks i'll rate high!

You don't need a program. Go to www.nuthinbutnet.net, click 'Resources', then 'HEX Color Codes'. To get all those different colors, use this code:

*I suggest you make the code in word FIRST, then copy and paste it into your profile!*

so about that yoga with a friend thing, sounds like such an AWSOME idea!!!!!!! if i asked my best friend to do that with me at the Y shed either say "thats sounds sooooo cool" (probably) or laugh and think i was kidding and then ill just laugh too and say "jk" cause i dont want to sound stupid. :-/ so ill ask but thats not the prob. its that i dont know if we even can do it! im going into 7th grade and shes going into 8th. are we to young? and its not even like were fat, we just dont want to get fat! :-P also, should we just have like "sessions" at eachothers house and buy the movies so we can do it like that? ...

Since you most likely have to be at least 13 to join the Y, that may not be a good idea. But I LOVE the yoga idea! After school, in the morning, at night, whatever!! You guys could make a schedule with days that work for each of you to meet at each other's houses and work out. Point out to her that it's an EXCELLENT way to gain flexiblity AND muscle!! It's a new potential hobby PLUS it's lots of fun!

i really want to scrunch my hair and i have tried alot before. i always used gel and scrunch it after the shower, but it never curls good at the top.

my hair is long((almost to my belt)) and thick.

any good tips?

Okay, scrunching hair is something I LOVE to do. :) haha. First of all, it's sometimes useful if your hair isn't soaking, but 'damp.' Take a shower one night, don't dry it, pull it in a pony tail, and the next morning, since your hair is soo thick, it shouldn't be too dry, but damp. If it's dry on the outer layer, spritz it a bit with a spray bottle. I suggest you use V05 curl mousse. My friend's hair looks ah-mazing when she uses it! I use L.A. Looks gel to scrunch mine, and my hair is incredibly thick too. Good luck!! :)

I'm 25 and have lived in my own apartment for three years, but I recently met a girl my age who has a house and a spare bedroom and wants a housemate to help with payments, so I'm going to move in with her. She's really cool and we hang out and have gotten to be friends. Here's my question: a few people (my parents, mostly) have told me that any time you're going to live with someone new you should have a set of ground rules that you both work on and agree to... like, what hours it's okay to play loud music, who's going to do dishes when, stuff like that. I told them the idea is silly because we're friends and she's going to think I'm weird and uptight if I propose something like this. If my music is too loud, she can tell me, you know?

So what do you think... should we just go with whatever for a while, or work out an agreement? What sort of stuff should we put on this list of rules if we do it?

True, but this is the way YOU would handle the situation, and she may not feel comfortable telling you up front. She might feel that YOU will think SHE's weird. So, maybe one day, if you guys are hanging out or something, just say something like "Hey, I was thinking, just because I want our friendship to stay strong & this living-together situation to work well, I was wondering if we could maybe think about some stuff that really would annoy you or I that either one of us would do. Pet peeves, ya know?" Say it in a funny way, and maybe she won't take it like you're 'strange', but make sure she knows that you REALLY want an answer. =)

i think i am going to go trick or treating with my friends so what is a good group costume idea?? or any good individuals if you feel like it too. funny ones, pretty ones, but not like famous ppl or common things-cheerleaders, opposite sex, devil, cat, angel, fairy, etc

thank you

My friends and I are actually thinking the SAME thing!! Here are some suggestions:
*Who did it?: Like a "CLUE" mystery! Someone can be the detective, then the common suspects (the maid, butler, etc.)

*Oldies: Bring the old times back! Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Natalie Wood, you get the point, lol.

*Some cute individual costume ideas: Fifties waitress, pink lady, hula girl.

I've really been into yoga lately. Ive been seeing it done on tv & stuff. I swore to myself that it was stupid & i'd never do it but it looks like its really good for you and would help lose weight and gain flexibility. If anyone knows of anything good about it, or a good yoga video & where to get it, fill me in. Thanks a lot.

Steph
(( BlackbeltxO ))

Yoga is an EXCELLENT way to build muscle, and as you said, gain flexibility. You can buy yoga kits at any fitness store like Modell's or Dick's. You will probably need one of the body balls, a mat, and a starter's DVD.

Also, if you decide you aren't crazy about yoga, pilates is great too!! :) They're pretty similar as well, and have the same result.

Recently I had a slumber party. One of the girls(who is like my bff since 2nd grade) grabbed the phone and called this boy she likes. I saw nothing wrong with it. My mom and older sister though thought she was acting 'wild.' So now my mom is thinking that I am going to be wild. She thinks I also need an attitude adjustment. She also thinks that I'm going to be worse than my sisters attitude when she was 13/14. I dont think I need an attitude adjustment! What should I do to help my Mom realize I'm not wild. Help fast- I rate high...

Okay, first of all, you MUST explain to your mom what you were doing at your slumber party, and also explain that your friend was only having some innocent-slumber-party-fun. You have to also, before you tell your mom you DON'T need an attitude adjustment, to STRONGLY think about reasons why she could possibly think that, cause ya don't want her saying you're stubborn next! =) Also, tell her that you won't be easily influenced by your friend and simply just say "Mom, I'm different than 'so-and-so' and I promise you that wild-ness is just NOT for me!"

Good luck! x3

I have this friend who thinks that I don't want to hang out with her and I only want to hang out with her sister, even though I hang out with her all the time and I only talk to her sister a little bit. She says I do it all the time but I don't but she insists that I do. It's annoying. Do you think that she is being parranoid?

Well, maybe not paranoia, but possibly jealousy. You have to understand that jealousy is common, so don't feel bad. BUT, next time you go over, sit down with your friend and her sister and make sure they BOTH understand that you like them BOTH and suggest that you all do something together. :)

Ok, so my parent's have been devorced for a long time and my dad is re-married. my mom has hit rock bottom, and now I have to tell an investigator ware I want to live. I am stuck in the middle, both parents think I wana live with them but I really havent decided. please help me! I'll rate 5's for none stupid awnsers.

girl 13.

Divorce is REALLY tough. Trust me, I've had a LOT of friends who have had to go through what you are. And during that time, they cry a LOT, and this is what I say to try and comfort them:

"Don't consider this choice about 'who you like better' or 'if you don't like your mom or if you don't like your dad' & make sure your parents are aware that those two questions are NOT what you're basing your answer on. Also, think about this choice as 'where you want to primarily live'. Also, make sure that you work out a living plan such as where you'll go on weekends that suits you and your parents best. This move is going to be rough, but if it's what your parent REALLY want, you have to understand that, and feel free to talk to them about how you feel." Good luck! xox
