iv'e been staying up super late all summer. but now that school is coming colser and closer. i need to go back to my regular scedule. but when i tryed stuff like staying up super late or waking up super early, i just end up falling asleep. how can i go back to my regulere schudle.

please respond fast

i'll rate a 5 no matter what

Well.. what i do is.. one night i stay up really late.. and get up super early the next morning.. and then the next night im tired earlier.. and hey! im already back on scheduele !

Instead of just one day trying to go to bed at a reasonable time, adjust your bedtime gradually. If you've become used to staying up till 2am each night and lying in to 11, you'll find it difficult to suddenly adjust to a very different patern, so do it in stages. Go to bed half an hour to an hour earlier than usual, and set yourself an alarm in the morning. You obviously don't want to practice getting up at 7 when it's not necessary, but it will be good if you set an alarm for 9 or so, and so get used to having to get up when your alarm goes off. If you go to bed at a slightly earlier time each night for a week or so you'll slowly change your sleep patern without feeling wrecked and wanting to sleep in the day. Planning activies, like going for a run or meeting somebody reasonably early in the morning can also help you adjust if your finding it difficult, as it gives you a reason to keep to your targets. i have the same problem.. i was staying up to 1 and 2 in the morning and now i have to go to bed at like 10 so iv been turning off my computer earier and laying in my bed earier and going to bed at like 11 so i can ease back into my schudele

I was just recently in your situation. There's really nothing you can do about it, just try laying down 30 minutes to an hour earlier every night, and get up at your normal time. For a couple days you might feel tired, but then you'll start sleeping more and going to bed earlier.

Just try going to bed at your usual school-year time. If you have camps during the week, try this out on the weekends. Try NOT to eat or drink caffeine within 2 hours of the time you're going to sleep. Also, wake up at your usual school-year time (set an alarm) and do some of the first parts of your morning schedule. For example, if you eat breakfast as soon as you wake up, or if you brush your teeth or shower, etc. This should help you get in the groove for school!!

umm im not sure, maybe just aim for one time, and like if you fall asleep by that time, ask your parents to give you a reward, then you'll want to keep doing it and you'll get back to your scheduale. hope this works.

You're going too fast. Go an hour earlier each day until school starts, and an hour later if neccassary. Trying to go back to your normal time immediately is unhealthy and won't work.

Experts reckon that only one night of inadequate sleep can change your body's internal 'clock'. This is a case similar to jet-lag, when your bodies hormone production and brain activity are out of sync with the actual time of day- hence falling a asleep or being unable to at the right time. The best way to get over this is to work at re-establishing the bodyclock rhythm. Here's some stuff that works for me:

1. Go to bed early, say ten. Take a warm milky drink and read till your eyes get tired, but on NO account take any sleep inducing medicine.
2. If you can't sleep, don't get up. I know it sucks but just do your best to nod off (take deep slow breaths, in through the nose out through the mouth).
3.Set your alarm to go off early- seven maybe, and when it goes off, get up. Laying in really mucks up your clock.
4.Do your best not to sleep during the day as this will prevent you nodding off at night, even if it was only a brief nap.
Rinse and repeat these stages over the course of a week. Eventually you should be getting a good nights sleep and not getting tired during the day. Peace out.
