I'm an eighteen year old female, and I'm going away to college this fall. The college I'm going to is a rural college with a strong athletic bent, and not many... "geeks." I, on the other hand, am quite the geek, and I'm very into video games.
I seem to be the only person listed in my dorm room... But I'll be in a block of dorms with other kids who are high academic achievers, including a few from my old school. I've heard that video games are a great way to meet likeminded people at college, and I've been thinking about which game systems to bring with me.
My Gameboy Advance, my old buddy, is going with me no matter what. It's my favorite system and I'm a huge Pokemaniac. I've already decided t take Pokemon Leaf Green, Sapphire, Ruby, Silver, and Card GBC. I'm also bringing Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3, and Zelda. But if I find Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, which one of those two should I drop to put it in my game? And I'm also taking Tetris, Tetris Attack, and Tamagotchi... but should I replace Tamagotchi with Super Mario Land or Pokemon Red/Yellow??
Also, I have a question about which system to take.
I have two major consoles--a Playstation1 and a Gamecube. I have a Sega Genesis also, but it's too fragile to move around. I can't decide whether I should take the PSX or the GCN to my dorm.
The PSX is about six years old. Games I have for it: Spyro, Crash 3, Bust a Move 2, Megaman X4, Dance Dance Revolution Konamix, and two Nascar titles. I have two dual shock controllers and two DDR pads, one of which is glitchy.
I've had the GCN for eight months, but I got it used. I only have three titles for it--Pokemon Box, Pokemon Colosseum, and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I NEED Box to manage my Gameboy Pokemon games, but SA2 is useless for multiplayer becuase I only have one controller. (I do have a GCN-GBA link for the Pokemon games, though)
Right now, I'm planning on taking the GCN and switching if I'm unhappy. However, due to DDR and Bust a Move on my Playstation, I'm reconsidering... Which do you think I should take? Keep in mind that it's a Playstation 1, not a Playstation 2.
Just take all of your gameboy games. It's not like they take up much room. I'd take the GameCube because Nintendo is still making games for that...and if you go to a store like GameStop, EBGames, or GameXChange, you can get a GameCube controller for almost nothing.
INSERT: uh...I haven't really priced them, but you might be able to get a used one for about 10 bucks.

ok! i have a camera, its a dsnap and all, and i have cords to it for the usb ports and theres 3 on my comp. well i've been using my camera for awhile and suddenly 1 day they juss stopped working. when you plug it in, this thing is suppose to come up saying what you wanna do like transfer photos etc. and it doesnt anymore. when i go into the hpzone program for pictures, and try connected that way it says its not connected. i even tried taking the card outta my camera, putting it in my comp. doesnt work either. at last, i tried taking the card and putting it in my printer, trying to transfer the pictures to the comp, and it said that its still not connected!
ill try ANYTHING, so please give advice and ill rate high.

Try reformatting your card.
Go into "My computer" and then right click on the drive as it appears and click "format". If your card doesn't appear, then there is either somthing wrong with your USB drivers, or the card itself.

Yes, you do have to charge it, and you can't just put batteries in it (unfortunately) like other mp3 players. With the money I get for my birthdy next month I plan to buy some sort of MP3 player. I have been researching it on google. I have come to, two different MP3 players I might consider buying. Zen Micro 4GB or the iPod Mini 4GB. My boyfriend has a iPod mini but I don't know if that is what I want because I'm always hearing people complain about them including my b/f. So before buying either of these do any of you know any pros or cons of either products? any help will be very appreciated. My friend has an ipod mini and he has dropped it on concrete and nothing has happened to it. Both brands have their ups and downs, and i have heard of many problems with the ipods, but that is probably only because more people own ipods than Zens. One thing about the Ipods is the battery. that is one reason I have not bought one; the lithium battery does run down and eventually wont hold a charge and then its 50 dollars to replace. I don't know much about the Zen They're both cool, but the ipod is more original. Check the prices too, the 4 gigs have dropped.

My mom keeps on intruding on my life. Heres a perfect example: Im sure some of you have an AOL screen name right?? For instant messaging? Well, I have it. And it has something called a log manager whice saves all of my conversations. So anyways, She READS MY MESSAGES I SEND TO PEOPLE. And then shes like, "YOU SWEAR TOO MUCH YOUR BANNED FROM IT!" And ITS SO GAY. AND IM FURIOUS. SOMEONE HELP ME!
Close your IM windows and start another one. Swearing isn't a good thing, but I know this can be annoying. I have the same trouble...and if i question them then they ask me if i have somthing to hide.

OK, im looking for a decent tennis racket that is priced $20-30. so far the ones that i have liked are the Wilson Fusion 110, Head Ti Smash, Prince Powerline Synergy, Prince PowerLine Zone, and the Wilson '05 Grand Slam 115. I was just wondering if anyone had any other reccomendations and/or out of the ones i picked out which one would be the best.
Prince is really good. I bought one about a year ago and it lasted me a pretty good while. Unfortunately it doesn't hit like it used to... the 'sweet spot' is almost non-existent now. It was 20 bucks at Academy.

No, you don't absolutely have to. The only time that I flossed when I had braces was when I went to the dentist. They do make "Super floss" or somthing that doesnt get torn up and tangled in braces. Ask for that the next time you're over there.

ok, i have a dell computer((it is like 6 months old)) and yesterday i had to turn it off from the button on the modem cause it was frozen up and wouldnt even restart from the ctrl.alt.delete thingie. and then today i turned on my comp and everything is all big. the icons, start bar, windows and everythign. i have tried to fix it from the control pannel but it wont work...waht do i do??
It probably put itself in safe mode..What you should do is right click the desktop, go into properties, then settings. Change the screen resolution to somthing higher and then restart your comptuer.

Yes, you can. You can change it by, if you have dial up, unplugging your modem cable and letting it dial again. If you have DSL or Cable, then unplug the power to your modem. That will automatically reset the IP as soon as your plug it back in. No, it's not possible unless you tell him the new IP.

Find the files that you saved off of limewire, plug in your ipod. Go to My Computer and you should see your ipod. Take the song files and drag them over to your ipod that appears on My Computer. That should do it.

Can i ask seriously. When people come on this. Do they answer questions genuinely to help people and hopefully help them through a tough patch or whatever; or do they do it for ratings? It makes me mad when you see a confused person askin a serious question; only for it to be answered by someone.
