Hey I'm 13 years old and I'm a really advanced reader for my age (just so you know). It doesn't mean I can read/understand adult books but whatever! I really want a list of GOOD books from like all genres!! If you could give me the title, author, and genre of the books you're suggesting that would be great!
The Golden Compass: It's a trilogy of really good books. The last one is about 4-500 pages.
The Fire Arrow: I don't know the book before that, and even if you don't read the first one you'll get it and it's a good book.
Tommorrow When the War Began: That's a series of about 6-8 books. They're more for our age and a little older. But I fell in love with them and they really helped my vocabulary ((not my spelling lol))
Snowfall: This is a romantic book. It's pretty easy to follow and it's really sweet!

my hair is a about mid-back, and i need to get it cut. my current style is side-bangs. does anyone have any cute ideas that will allow me to keep my hair with the side-bangs, but yet cut it shorter? pictures would help also.
Well, you could get like 2 inches cut ((more or less to suit you)) then get a wavy perm. It looks really pretty! Or you could get it to your shoulders layered, that's house I have my hair and its pretty. Or you could have long layers, that looks pretty too!
Sorry I don't have pictures...anyway, i hope your hair turns out the way you want!!!!

I was really upset about something a guy friend (or so I thought) did to me.
Well I have a mental illness (schizophrenia) and am on a small disablility pension. I don't just sit around on my ass, I volunteer at the food bank and other places to keep me busy.
Well I went to visit my friend at his work one day. And all of a sudden, for no reason at all he starts saying the meanest things to me, like that I was living off the system and wasnt going to better my life. When I started crying and said he was being judgemental he said "you needed to hear this", in the meanest voice.
I havent been back to see him and he hasnt phoned to apologize. I even heard that he has been talking to his friends about me spazzing out.
Why he is being so mean? Do I have a right to be upset or am I overeacting? And should I even give him a second chance?
WHAT AN ASSHOLE! That is utterly mean rude and every other freakin bad thing! You are so not over reacting you need to go over to his work and kick his ass! Obviously he isnt your friend if he's talking about you behind your back, or in front of your face! He doesn't deserve a second chance! You have more than a right to be mad! That makes me mad! Guys are retards! But, I guess he doesn't want to be known as the guy thats friends with someone that's mental ((no offense))
Anyway,...if nothin else kick his ass

If you live in Northern Calofornia yeah. There's this one place there I think it's like Blue Ridge or something, something why Blue, anyway, they had snow like 3 feet high. But it really depends where you live. If you live in/around or below LA don't expect any snow.

I know that 13-year-olds are too young to fall in love. But does that mean you can't say "I love you" to your boyfriend?
No. I mean, 13 year olds, they say it, but usually dont mean it because it's alot better than saying "I like you alot" But still, 13 still isnt too young to fall in love I think. I think that I myself am in love,..but this is about you. It's perfectly ok to say "i love you" to your boyfriend. And if he gets all worked up about it just explain it to him.

ok so around the beginning of october this guy told me he liked me.. i sorta liked him and we were good friends but i still didnt know him too well.. ok so he asked me out on the 6th.. but i said no.. we kept talking and we ended up going out 3 times between them and now. we talked all the time and it was like i knew him better than any1 else EVER i had fun with him and i liked how he treated me..he seriosuly treated me the best!!!!..ok so i broke up with him 3 times.. and during those times we still acted liek we were going out, we just sorta took space, and eventually went out.. its kinda like i want what i cant have!! && i hate that!..i dont know but on monday i found out from my friend that he smoked that saturday [we broke up thursday] i was so mad.. he didnt even tell me and he also told me he stopped.. i 4gave him b.c we werent going out then and it wasnt toooo big of a deal but still.. the next day i find out he likes another girl.. now when we were going out he would always say i love you soooooo much blah blah and he really did, but he said the same thing to that girl! he lied to me alot these last few days.. he even said he wanted me and didnt like the girl anymore, then that night he came out and said it was a lie.. so now he doesnt like me or the other girl BUT a new girl [he went out with a couple months ago] theyre prob going to go out and i just dont know what to do and feel..this last week i coudlnt concnetrate at all at school and ive been so sad. now i know this sounds really stupid but there is so much more to our situation and so many more lies.. but now that he lieks this other girl def. i just idk i like him so much! i dont know what to do.. i think i might have loved him..please just tell me what im going through and what i do and how i get over it

Wow, guys, are retards. Now that we have that established that, we'll move on to the 'getting over' part of it. You can't really get over that kind of thing. Only time can heal that. But, maybe he doesn't think you really like him because you broke up with him all 3 times, so he's just trying to get over you like you're just trying to get over him. You just need to put yourself out there and start dating/goin' out with some other people and the first few may not mean anything but I mean, I'll either help or make you relieze how much you love him. Since guys are insecured jerks, if you still feel like that in a couple of weeks you gotta lay down the law,...but not so intense. Or else, he won't know/understand how you feel. Then I'll take him a few days for him to understand and get it crammed into his head. The lying, I really can't help much with that because, that's all him and you need to explain to him how much the lying hurts you and that in the past he nevered lied like this. And if you can't talk to him, try explaining it to your girl friends, I'm sure they'll understand unless that's the girl he likes, and that's the situation I'm in myself.

Well I've like MANY guys. And some have seemed like they've like me too. For example, there's this kid that I "like" (you'll understand the quotes in a minute), and it kind of seems like he likes me too now. But now that he is kind of flirting with me, I'm starting to not like him now. What is this?!? It REALLY confuses me. I don't know why I am like this, can anyone explain?? Before the guy started flirting a little bit with me, I definately wanted him to like me, no doubt about that. Of course I did, cause I liked him. But now that it seems he likes me..I'm kind of avoiding him. Am I afraid of a relationship? I feel as if I will never have a boyfriend because of this reason, and it makes me sad & confused. Well, I think that since you've never had a boyfriend you don't really know how to act whenever a guy likes you. Maybe you are afraid of a relationship, but probably because you don't know what to do or how to act or what to say or when to do certain things, but don't know when to do them. The only way to learn is for you to get out there and learn. That's how I did it. My first couple boyfriend's to learn the in's out's do's and dont's! Don't worry about it.

Hello, everyone. It's Krissy - Krissyxx9. I'm going to get my hair cut real soon. One problem, I don't know how to get it cut. I know I want it shorter. (Maybe up to my shoulders?) With a bunch of chopper layers.
I was thinking that maybe I'll get some side bangs, but I'm not too sure about that. I guess I'm just looking for some suggestions on how to get my hair cut? Thanks guys. :)
that's how I have my hair cut, and if it's naturally curly and you never straighten it, I suggest you leave it long, maybe get it trimmed and get the side bangs. But if it's straight or its naturally curly and you straighten it, that'll look really pretty if you don't put it up alot. It you put it in braided pig tails it looks good too!

I have really curly hair so I straighten it twice a week just about. Is that really bad for my hair. Like i know that its bad to straighten your hair but how bad is that?? I have some straightening stuff thats my sisters that i use before i do it i guess it supposed to help...
No, because, that's not real often so it won't fry your hair and hair products usually help but dove is really bad it makes you're hair look greasy. Vo5 is really good.

Awww, lol. Ok, well, obviously, you like her or you have some sort of feelings for her, and your body/brain doesn't know how to act around her so it comes out like hoopiewatlenslurgin. You can't really fight it, it happens all the time nothin out of the ordinary. Just try and calm yourself down don't go all crazy and perverted and freak out. And there's nothin really to get confussed about, its just hormones!

I like the girl and we are really good friends but i have tried to tell her in the past that i have feelings for her, but she has been interested in someone else at that moment and i dont know how to tell her and get her to notice we are right for eachother.
Like I said in the question before this, you can't force someone to like you, or to relieze that they're perfect for you. And if she's interested in someone else, just continue to be friends, flirt a little, keep her wondering wether you like her or not. Maybe she doesn't like you because she doesn't want to mess up your relationship as friends. Being good friends of the oppisite gender usually fall for each other, one usually before the other so it's nothing unusal. Maybe in time she'll relieze that y'all are a great match, but maybe she won't, because maybe you aren't. Only her, and her alone can decide what to do next, even if you do tell her how you feel because that could change everything. And that other dude, just don't get too involed because off all this freakin' drama! Ugh I can't stand it. Unless you're willing to lose a friend or too then onward with your bad self. lol. If you're like me, then you hate waiting. But, it's alot better to or you'll screw up alot of things not only your relationship with this girl, but your destiany as well.

You can't force a girl to like you. that would be called...something but i dont know what it is! Anyway, you should just drop some hints every now and then that you like her just to keep her wondering and intrested. Just keep talking to her, but don't make yourself sound obsessive or else she'll think your,..weird. That's pretty much all I can say, you didn't give me much to go on so, I hope I helped.

Well,...maybe she just likes your pen. But, I guess that might be the only way she knows how to flirt,..ya know? I mean girls have just as hard a time as guys do whenever it comes to love and flirting. Maybe she's flirting and doesn't know it, or maybe she does. Perhaps she does like you. And you could go about asking her,..maybe through a note or ask one of her friends that you're good friends with. If she does like you,...she'll keep doin' it. And if she doesnt, obviously, she won't. Maybe she doesn't even know about my advice column and just is doing it because thats the only way she knows how to flirt. Girls, can be so unpredicable. But, people read me like a book and I hate it. But if you flirt back, maybe you're giving her a reason to flirt with you. An if you flirt back and tell her you don't like her, that really hurts because she may have thought you liked her back.

Well, since you're his first real girlfriend, he probably doesn't know how to act and when to do certain things. Maybe he's just waiting for the right time to make a move. ((Before and/or after he gets his braces off)) Now, for dropping little hints you could be like,..."So,...((dude's name))have you ever kissed anyone before?" And tell your girl friends because they're usually alot better at dropping hints rather than the hint dropper person...((you in other words, that both you and i can understand! lol))

ok, well i have a REALLY BIG crush on this guy, lets call him dan. well i wanted to know if you guys think he has a crush on me. ok, well, everytime i look at him he is looking back (sometimes i see it out of the corned of my eye) and then today in PA (sewing) my tetcher said my name wrong because she has trounle pernouncing it and i wen to correct her but dan corrected her for me (i sit at the table behind him) and when my table was talking about birthdays and i said mine, he looked back and it looked like he was memorizing the date.

They're just a scam. They'll ruin your e-mail or they'll keep calling your house non-stop. But in the end,..it's not worth it because you never get your ipod or laptop
if yu have stretch marks around like yur arms and some on yur waist .. what does that mean? is there any way to get rid of them WITHOUT buying something?
that means you probably had a grow spurt or you muscles are getting bigger. I have them on the insides of my legs. Just dont try and work them out alot of they'll just get worse!
