ankeagle14 answered Friday December 2 2005, 1:55 pm: well if you look closley most of hem say : FREE* with that star. the star means go down to the bottom and there it usually says "details apply" meaning, 1, its NOT free, and 2 the only thing you get 'free' of you click on it is spyware, viruses and all that junk, so no its not free, their scams.

XO_LiZ_69_0X answered Friday December 2 2005, 1:37 pm: there usually scams , but somethimes you have to go thorugh a list of things and you must pick one, so your really buying two thiongs, its not worth it. trust me
ncblondie answered Friday December 2 2005, 12:46 pm: Usually with these "free" offers, you have to do something else or purchase something to get your "free" item. Some also give your computer spyware or viruses. In my opinion, they're scams, usually not worth the time. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]
naimee answered Friday December 2 2005, 12:07 pm: It's a scam, & I'm pretty sure it can cause viruses, but I'm not a computer genious so I'm honestly not sure. They aren't real though, if you click on the Free IPOD crap it'll come to a screen that says, enter your name & address, then you click next and to "win a free IPOD" you have to like sign up for a mastercard or something of that sort. Something that costs A LOT of money. It's like neverending that crap. So, I really wouldn't try it if I were you. [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
cheburashka answered Friday December 2 2005, 11:17 am: it's not necessarily a virus, but it's not reliable. the thing's never really free (that's why the word free usually has a * next to it), you have to do a bunch of shit for it, answer questions and get your friends to do it too, and when you're finished you're never really guaranteed to get the thing. my advice: don't bother.
